Her exam was a few seconds long and she was quick to prescribe a bunch of expensive tests. The worst thing is that she is the OWNER of the clinic. Do not take your beloved pet to this clinic.

Moore vet is the place! They got excited to get in the car now to go. It isn't because they are given treats, its because they are handled with love and care. The vets take time to listen. I had an Incident where i had to take one dog to medvet emergency and the next day the same issue with my other dog during office hours where Moore could see them. They got far better care for a lot cheaper at Moore than at medvet! I'd recommend them 10 fold!!

And our first appointment was an a somewhat urgent one as something was wrong with our dog. We were able to schedule him a same-day appointment. He ended up getting diagnosed with diabetes and has since had to have a few follow ups. But we have gotten things under control and very well managed. Cedar City is a very clean facility and well organized. They are easy to make appointments and get ahold of someone at the front desk when you call. I have a 10 year old pug so I have been to a lot of vets in the past 10 years and this one is has been great. Dr. Bonner respects your input as the pet owner and person who knows their pet the best. And works with you so you don't walk out over paying without answers to your pets problems. I will be a happily returning customer!

All staff was very understanding and went out of their way to answer any questions and advise us. Along the same lines, we never felt that we were being 'sold' extra unnecessary expensive treatment that we are quite sure we would have through our old vet. We drove 40 minutes each way for every appointment and need our dog had and passed many other vets along the way, Well worth the trip. When we get our next dog, we'll be back!

Dr Hiegel didn't offer any real knowledge, for even the most basic questions. I asked her about dog food and she said she doesn't know what kinds are out there. She barely touched my dog and didn't seem to want to spend the time on the exam. I saw what seemed to be a daycare dog standing out in the rain the whole time I was there (it didn't look like it was enjoying it). The entryway is crowded and the front area staff never seem very interested in helping anyone. Everyone is nice, I just think this vet is very overpriced for mediocre care and lack of true engagement from the staff.

The thing I love about this business is they don't try to do a bunch of things to drive up costs. For example when my one dog couldn't walk instead of trying to do xrays, etc they put her on a steroid and pain pill to see if that helped first. It did! A very similar situation happened with my French Bulldog recently. They are very good about trying to see if other options work first before doing things that will cost an arm and a leg. What really stood out to me was their approach to pricing. It was very fair compared to other places I've checked. The vet even shared that she keeps some costs low on purpose because it just makes sense -- overcharging doesn't build trust or volume, and she clearly cares more about doing what's right than squeezing every dollar out of a visit.
