I called my insurance company and they sent Camel tow. I wasn't upset that it was over a 40 minute wait. I was upset because the tire company is less than 10 miles from my residence and the tow truck driver took a route that was 20 miles pass the tire company and with each turn the time kept going up. He was traveling a long distance adding an additional 20 miles. He blamed it on traffic but my GPS was getting us there in less than 10 minutes. He became irritated when I confronted him about the mileage and asked him to find a shorter route. Will never use this service again. He also scratched up my front bumper when pulling the car off of the truck. Not happy. All of this on my Birthday celebration day. read more

Our car broke down on our way back to Aiken, SC from Flowery Branch, Georgia. We placed a service request with State Farm, our insurance carrier, who could find no one in the Greensboro, Georgia area open on Saturdays. After finally locating Camel Towing out of distant McDonough, I spoke with Rod who was very reassuring and helpful. Within minutes of our conversation, his flatbed driver, Carlos called me to give us an ETA. Not only did Carlos stay in touch and give us updates as to his arrival time, but when he arrived, he clearly knew his business, was professional and obviously a God-fearing man. He took care of us quickly and with genuine concern. Carlos also gave us valuable advice about our car. America needs more businesses like Camel and more men like Carlos. They damaged my rim outside the scratch that was already there they literally gouged my rim when they picked it up from my home and towed it based off recommendations from Allstate who are just as incompetent. the best tow service... when I first saw the name of their company and their logo. I laughed so hard I thought I was going to bust my gut. Then when the driver got out, he had a hashtag on the back of his shirt that says something like #MrHappyEnding. Even in a bad situation, I found myself laughing hysterically. The service was excellent. They were able to get to me quickly and the driver even help me get my things out of the car. God forbid if I ever break down again I will definitely call them. Unfortunately I've had to use several tow companies in the past as I drive for a living. I have to say that this company (with a catchy name) is by far the best company I've used so far. They came fast, looked at my car and gave me non solicited advice on how to fix my cars issue, he was quick to load up and drop off. Very friendly and super nice guy and I just wanted to say thanks for making my not so great day seem just a little bit better. I am frustrated with Camel towing, I requested a tow from their company, They did show up after then the ETA, but once I explained to them shat was going on with my car, One of the drivers got into my car and the other driver kept telling him to drive forward and backwards and I got mad because I didn't want anymore possible damage done to my vehicle. They're not mechanics, I didn't ask them to diagnose what was wrong with my vehicle I just needed them to tow it to the mechanic shop, They continued to drive forward and reverse my car. They kept throwing out all of these different problems before finally taking my car. read more
