It's a 45 min mat pilates class taught by Abby and Melanie. May 30th was their last rooftop class for now until it gets cooler out again. My cousins happened to find the event and 4 of us joined since there was a 2 for 1 deal (about $11 each!). It was my first time taking a mat pilates class and I loved it, minus the burning sun part. If this were in spring or fall, it would be perfect! I parked one below in the shade and as soon as I walked up, I could already hear the music the dj had on and it was just my kinda music. Surrounding the grass area were different vendors including Starbucks, a matcha bar, skin care, tarot, gummies, protein bars, bread and cookies, women's health, massages, IV shots, health coaching and merch. The details of the event didn't say to bring our own mat so two of us forgot to pack one. Luckily, the instructors had a bunch of extras for anyone who forgot. They also provided bands for everyone. Those bands killed us. You'll feel the burn the next day. In fact, my whole body was sore for a few days and I started feeling it already that same night. After the class ended, we browsed the vendors. I purchased some gummies (hair/nails and energy), had a quick tarot reading done, grabbed some freebies and 2purchased matchas. We enjoyed the variety of stores and restaurants, both inside the mall and in the surrounding area, so there are plenty of shopping and dining options to choose from. The mall itself was clean, spacious, and a nice place to escape the summer heat. During our visit, we noticed there was quite a bit of construction taking place. Because of that, some areas of the mall were temporarily inaccessible, and a few elevators and escalators were out of service. While it was a minor inconvenience, it didn't take away from our overall experience. Overall, we had a pleasant visit and would return. Once the construction is complete, I'm sure the shopping experience will be even better.

After my vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run in the Kierland Commons parking lot, by a member of the cleaning staff, I left Mr. Kea a voicemail on Saturday, July 18, requesting a return call regarding the incident. Unfortunately, I never received a response. As someone who works at Kierland Commons, I expected a higher level of professionalism, communication, and concern. Instead, I had to flag down an employee driving a golf cart just to locate the security office myself. The lack of follow-up and assistance during a situation involving property damage is unacceptable. Additionally, the parking lot design is extremely narrow, making it difficult to navigate safely and increasing the risk of accidents. I hope Kierland Commons takes both customer and employee safety more seriously and improves its response to incidents like this in the future.

The clientele, the cleanliness, the strong mix of high-end retailers and the restaurant offerings made this mall look like Beverly Hills! We didn't have time to shop, but definitely eye candy stores everywhere...LV, Rolex, Celine, Tiffany's, Cartier, Prada, Balenciaga to name a few. Restaurants were great too; Barcelona Teleferic, Elephante, Catch, and Din Tai Fung (which we ordered to go since there was a 1.5 hr wait). There's so much offered here and really convenient and centrally located. Many different retail stores and restaurants. From clothing to novelty, to toys, shoes, to department stores, it's all here. Plus lots of eateries of all kinds, esp. in the food court area. Several clearance/"outlet" type stores for brand names like Nike too. There are also the movies, a Rainforest Cafe, a Legoland mini-theme-park, plus the Arizona SeaLife Aquarium, so you can definitely spend the whole day here and have so much fun, and find all kinds of goodies that'll lighten your heart and your wallet. Mall staff we saw were working hard at keeping all parts of the mall clean, esp. around the common areas like the bathrooms and emptying out trash cans, etc. at the food court. Individual retail store staff were friendly and helpful too. Overall, a really comprehensive and comfortably curated collection of stores in a clean shopping center environment. Most importantly, you'll get your steps in as this mall is in a vast space and on one floor, so it's quite spread out and you'll do a lot of walking. It wasn't dirty, but it could have been cleaner. I also have heard it can get a little bit rough here at night time, but I did not experience that while here around 10 AM to noon on a Saturday.

I was basicslly told too bad and that's what happens when you leave your suitcase in view in the car. Of course, I know the risk is mine, but the fact thry had zero sympathy and don't even want to hear about crime in their area is sad. The other car said they had stuff stolen. From the trunk. So sad. I did some calling around and Chandler police confirmed that crime stats are high at this shopping center... so be VERY aware or give elsewhere.
