The office staff here is friendly and helpful! I've seen Dr. LaValley for several procedures and routine visits. She is truly amazing. She's down to earth, connects with her patients, and has comforting bedside manner! I just had a sterilization procedure and she literally held my hand until I fell asleep. I've also seen Linda Honda, while she's got a quicker pace to her visits, she's incredibly thorough and always manages time to check in with me about my overall health and wellness. Please for the love of god don't go here. They do not care about your health. My daughter is still dealing with a serious health issue that they completely dismissed and disregarded as endometriosis. They didn't even do a physical exam, they didn't even look at where she explained her pain was coming from. The moment she walked in, DR. Dawson immediately recommended birth control. She shrugged her shoulders and pretty much said deal with it. Excuse me?!!! ****How do you diagnose someone without any type of testing, physical exams, vitals, etc? Fast forward a year later we are scheduled for an extensive surgery because we searched and found a BETTER practice and Dr that cared, listened and took all the steps to ensure their patient was taken care of. I have been going to this office for 7 years, 7 pregnancies. I have had experiences with many of their staff and like any doctors office I have had high moments and low moments but I am very pleased with this health office and would recommend many of the doctors here. I now live in Yuba city and I travel just to continue care I have had two baby's since I have moved and my care has still been amazing. I am very grateful especially to Dr. Dawson. She has been very caring and supportive throughout my miscarriages and my high risk pregnancy. No care facility is perfect but I trust the care I have received and I recommend this office. Unfortunately, this clinic provides a very disappointing experience. The staff do not treat patients with respect or professionalism. Instead of making patients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, their behavior creates an unpleasant and stressful environment. A healthcare facility should provide patients with a sense of security and peace of mind, but unfortunately, that is not the case here. I was seen here recently and from the reviews I was a little skeptical coming here but my experience was a 10/10. I seen Dr. Pham if I'm not mistaken here at the Carmichael location and she was soooo nice. She made me feel comfortable and was very gentle during the exams and procedures. I wish I could remember the medical assistant that assisted her but she was so nice as well. I think she was blonde, but they both deserve a 10/10. As well as the staff that checked me in. I came here for a regular check up years ago for the first and last time and I never forgot it because the doctor was pushing so hard for me to get on birth control (I never even mentioned I might want that) and even went so far as to tell me there are "no side effects" Like what??? I would give this place a negative 5 star rating if I could. They take a lot of medi-cal and low income families so they can take advantage of most patients being uneducated about the scam behind conventional prenatal care, particularly all the routine ultrasounds, medications, and vaccines they force you to take WHILE PREGNANT. So either they have no reverence for the life of human beings, or they're just robots pushed out of the corrupt medical system that educated them. One of the NP's asked me if I'm an "army brat" because I called her "ma'am", and she tried to chase me down to take the flu shot and dTap vaccines. No thank you! If you value your medical freedom and the health of you and your baby, avoid this place at all costs. They will bully and condemn you for not following the agenda. My lady bits have been through the wringer, and I need and found TWO (2) lovely doctors with Camellia Women's Health. I've seen Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Lavelle and I can recommend both. Why? Because I came to them as a 56 year old woman, once for a routine pap, pelvic ultrasound and 3D mammogram and the following for HRT and THEY LISTENED to me!!!! These ladies heard me, my concerns, my family history and allowed me to make my own decisions (with their educated guidance and support) for my lady bits..... yes, I do love saying, "lady bits." Dr Maiuyen T Nguyen was dismissive of all my concerns and ignored red flags about my cycle concerns. When I asked for a female hormone panel I was told that doesn't matter. Hormones very much do matter and can help you figure out what is wrong. The office staff were fine but not very welcoming. I had questions regarding trouble getting pregnant after over a year trying and tracking and she was absolutely uncaring, unhelpful and extremely uninformed. I'm shocked she's even practicing with the amount of poor information she gave me. Please don't waste your time or money and avoid them at all costs! read more

This clinic destroyed my health. I spoke with the doctor and I told her that I would like to get on birth control and have rheumatoid arthritis .So she told me it was safe to have the IUD mirena inserted. After that I started having the worst flairs that I have never experienced in my life before. I have never had a flare before this. Even putting me in the ER due to extreme flair a week later. I trusted my doctor. I trusted what she told me. Fast forward. I started seeing my rheumatologist to prescribe me medication due to my flairs. And I read this from Google 4 years later "Increased Chance of Developing RA: One study suggested that IUD use was associated with a 268% increased chance of developing rheumatoid arthritis later in life, compared to women using no contraception. I had the IUD taken out. I was going through flares continuously and still am. After the IUD was taken out I had one period and that was it. My condition has declined to where I can barely walk every single joint in my body is flared sometimes I can't even lift my hands over my head. This IUD has destroyed my life. I was an active martial artist and I worked for and home improvement company going door-to-door, I was known to walk 5 to 7 mi a day. Now I can barely make it to my desk at my home. The IUD also did one more thing for me. It gave me premature ovarian failure because it made my disease overactive and attack my ovaries. I'm just letting wemon know this because what if there was a 24-year-old girl with rheumatoid arthritis that needed birth control. I'm sure cases like these are swept under the rug all the time. Please be aware that the IUD mirena literally has been known to aggravate and show up in healthy women for a positive ANA AFTER having it placed. And please if there are any more wemon with a similar situation, please let it be known for other wemon. Make reports. Write reviews .So they don't go down the same path. read more

I couldn't make it to my appointments due to my insurance being cancelled and I finally could make it up there with my own money and they said I was late . I received two text messages with them and they gave me two different appointment times .. I went to the later one and they denied me when I got up there .. $60 down the drain . and to top it off I'm 37 weeks pregnant and they couldn't even TRY to fit me in today or atleast the next day . I never write reviews but I feel this is genuine feedback that could actually make this place way better. February 2024 I had my first appointment and waited over an hour past my appointment time to be seen by the doctor. I am a fairly patient person when it comes to these types of things and figured maybe there was an emergency or something with the patient before me that delayed my appointment. I had Dr. Atluri whom I think genuinely cares and seemed to want to take the time to help me with my recently diagnosed with PCOS. Today (3 months later) I went in for a follow up and again waited an hour past my appointment time. I ultimately walked out of my appointment without being seen. The front desk staff was really nice and asked if I wanted to reschedule which I declined. It's unfortunate because I actually really liked Dr. Atluri. There is obviously an issue with how appointments are scheduled. If a Doctor is the type to take their time addressing all their patients' concerns maybe you should individualize the spacing between appointments for each Doctor. Patients should not have to wait an hour for their appointments. No one came into the exam room at any point to give me an update. I left work early for this appointment and wasted PTO hours. Extremely frustrating. read more

Back in 2020 I was pregnant and came here. It was my first pregnancy and I didn't know what signs to look for if it was a bad place. Well now I do. My entire pregnancy I had random white patches on my legs, I would randomly faint or have blackout episodes. I had what I guess are called contractions my entire pregnancy. I had a ton of things I just felt weren't right. I trusted this place as it kept getting brushed off. The only reason I kept coming back was because of NP Scott, Kelly. She made me feel at home. It was like being with a family member with her. One day I had a check up appointment and my OB wasn't there so they told me they needed to reschedule. I told the lady at the office I had some concerns and I really needed to see someone cause my legs were getting bad. I was told to go too a hospital because my OB wasn't in. So that would be 8 weeks of seeing nobody. Which again this was my first pregnancy and I have no family here so I just listened to whatever they said. I literally did everything right. I ate healthy lots of veggies and fruits, all my proteins. I noticed my friend was having all these test done weekly and I was lost on why I had barely anything done my whole 7 months of being pregnant. I just thought maybe it how my office does it. I should have ran and found someone who cared for my baby. I came in one day and the old man who was my OB he has white hair I can't remember his name. I told him about the stuff that was going on and that my mom and the same stuff happen and she almost lost her child. He said " your are not your mother you're not the same" well that was the dumbest thing I've ever heard now that I think about it. I didn't listen back then I just trusted everyone. So October 6th I go in and we do our normal check up and Nurse Scott Kelly said your blood pressure is a little high let's check on baby. So she listened in to find my babies heart beat and he was gone. My son was dead. This place cared for me so little and brushed off all the things that I was concerned about. I learned a very big lesson. I would never come here if I was pregnant. The old man was such a jerk and didn't care about my concerns and I blame him for not caring about us. October 8th I gave birth to the most beautiful baby boy. His dad and I held him and loved him for as long as we could. And Nurse Scott Kelly came to see me and I will forever be grateful for her because she is an amazing person. I have no idea why my baby died but I know that everything I had going on was because of it. Something wasn't right but I trusted the old man who over looked everything. Now all I have is a tiny box of ashes and a necklace with his name and date of birth with some of his ashes in it. I know sometimes stillbirths happen but this one shouldn't have. I've been going here for 25 years and they used to be great, but over the years it gotten bad. When I first started going you used to be able to take your kids and for years ago they changed that, I do understand why but some parents don't have any other options but to bring their child with them. You can no longer get a hold of anyone when you call the office. Your on hold waiting for someone to pick up and then it eventually goes to a voicemail and they don't call you back until days later and then your told that they can't see you for a month. You have many doctors and nurses and you can't see me for a month? I've only stayed as long as I have for doctor kamras and nurse Limda but it's getting so bad and don't know if that is a good enough reason to stay anymore. read more

They never ever ever answer there phones ever. I have only been seen once and that was at another office. I am currently 27 weeks pregnant and have not yet received my anatomy scan. I literally have to say it's an emergency in order to get a hold of someone on the actual phone. Diamond is amazing she is the only one in that office who is extremely helpful and takes her time to listen to you. The girl I spoke to before quickly dismissed me and told me she had not received my medical records from my previous Obgyn when In fact they did have my records. It is a little concerning when I was told I could not be seen unless they had those records . So to be told they didn't and to be so far along was concerning . The worst place to get checked for during your pregnancy! This was my first pregnancy and regret it so much of coming to this clinic. I should've read the reviews and went with my gut the first visit I came here. The first visit i had was with Scott Kelly, she made me feel uncomfortable and I didn't want to be open with her since she seem to brush off my concerns. Mind you I have gone to many clinics from having health problems in the past and this clinic has the worst service. I would thought they would escort you out the room but they have you do it yourself. After seeing Scott Kelly from my first visit i went to the desk to check out, I was standing there for a minute or two all the girls were just doing their thing or they looked at me and didn't bother to say I'll be right with you in a moment. The one thing I fucking hate is that you have to call them so many times to get ahold of someone, they do not answer your calls and one time I was in the waiting room towards the end of my third trimester, I heard a woman say "you guys never answer the calls so I had to come in here to make an appointment which I've been trying to do for several weeks". I whispered your damn right. The one thing I can say positive is that I liked Eve la valley, its just unfortunate she works for this clinic and she didn't deliver my baby which was the whole reason why I stayed with this awful place. I had a appt with Linda Honda, she was rude af, she had a attitude from the very beginning of the appt, when I was laying down for her to check my little man's heartbeat she didn't warn me and didn't ask for my consent to pull my pants down and pull my shirt up and scratched me. I had gestational diabetes, when I was checking out after my appt she said with a an attitude "I don't know why she was on my schedule, she has gestational diabetes." Oh lord I tried my best to keep my mouth shut. I couldn't wait to finish off the rest of my pregnancy. I recently went to my postpartum appointment at the Roseville location with Swyers-hoop. It was very quick and disappointing. All the did was check my incision and asked if I had postpartum depression, the doctor didn't bother to ask If I had any questions which I had a ton. She seemed like she was in a rush and they were very slow in the office. I would not recommend this place at all, go somewhere else where they actually care and take the time with you. read more

I was here months ago and didn't think to leave a review. I went in because I was late on my period and wanted to confirm if I was pregnant or not. Test came back negative. We are trying to have a 2nd child. Instead of coming up with a solution as to why I'm not getting a period and a plan on what to do to get one and become pregnant the doctor just tell me I'm fat and to lose weight and gives me a blood work order. Blood work supposedly came back normal and no answers. Ok I'm a over weight but instead of telling me I'm fat and lose weight can't we come up with another solution. The ridiculous service and unprofessional staff ever. They were trying every single time to reschedule the appointment for my wife. The doctor did c-section which got infected and after 2 weeks they made a new cut beside her wound to drain the blood out of wound. At my her last appointment, they again tried to reschedule the appointment. I protest and requested to speak with the doctor but the green uniformed old nurse was very unprofessional and rude. She didn't let me to talk with doctor and asked me GET OUT. I came out and changed the health care provider for my wife. Had my first appointment here today, saw Dr. LeValley. She was very thorough and professional. The ONLY reason I'm giving them 3 stars. Her assistant, however was terrible. Not professional and somewhat condescending. She asked me what I was there for, and gave me some medical terms I didn't understand for my issue. When I tried to explain, she cut me off and replied, "yes that's what I said", With attitude!!! By the looks of the other reviews, it's an ongoing problem. Really if I could give less than one star, I would. The front staff is TERRIBLE. Like they were trained to start your appointment off bad. They have no customer service, don't say good morning or hi, simply just "have a seat." No smile, no compassion, cold hearted and rude. Don't expect them to answer any questions because they wont. They are more worried about the personal conversations they are having over the patient at the window. When i tried to check in for my appointment, they told me I didn't do the lab work. Explained to them that no one had given me any blood work, so there was no way I could of done it. Said "well he wont see you without that done. Go get it done, call us and well get you back in in about 6 weeks." and dismissed me out of the office. No apologies or sorry for the confusion, basically 'sucks to be you its not our problem". Now for the doctors, they aren't any better. 25 weeks pregnant and have seen my OB once. When I FINALLY met him, he said Hi, talked about how long hes been a doctor and said see you next month. WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM. Didn't ask anything about me or my history, how I was feeling, NOTHING. Dr. Kamaras was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. After literally yelling out the hallway saying I had a question because my previous pregnancies were so high risk and life or death, he said "I guess well see when that time comes." TALK ABOUT NEGLIGENCE. I wouldn't trust that man or ANY doctor in that office with a cold, let alone the birth of my unborn child. You're better off delivering on the street and asking a homeless man to assist you, honestly. read more

Just got off the phone with the rudest appointment scheduler I've ever experienced. I've come to this office multiple times and have called to schedule appointments for pregnancy's multiple times. I explained to this lady I had a miscarriage in June, had taken multiple negative pregnancy tests, and then in the last week had another positive. All I needed to do was schedule another appointment for me to be seen. So she then says are you positive you've had enough time to get pregnant? It's been a month since my miscarriage. It is nothing new for pregnancy to occur again this fast. Instead she has a conversation with me about needing to get blood tested etc. when I ask if they are able to go off my miscarriage date to schedule the appointment she gets an attitude and says well ask the doctor. That's what we should have done to begin with if you're not sure how to go about it. The doctors are great here but the people we talk to on the phone for the most part are not. read more

What a bummer to see so many people unhappy with this office. The gal at the front desk was friendly, sweet and efficient. I was checked in and called back within 15 minutes of arriving, something I know isn't always the case (I've had babies so I know all about the waiting game). Then the highlight of my visit happened, I met their new practitioner/midwife named Beth. I mean this honestly, in all my years of girly appointments, I have never had such an awesome and comprehensive annual exam. Beth was thorough, she was attentive and informative. I understand social distancing I am a frontline worker. I am in and out of care homes, psych wards, jails, board and care homes, private homes, and the list goes on and on. Stress levels are high but when you have a special needs child who even though is 23 pregnant with a new child and is medically diagnosed and its charted and the staff is most ignorant and indifferent to the comprehension level of the patient well it is truly a disservice to all ADA patients not to let their caregiver in the room to help the patient with the best possible outcome for treatment. The medical assistant who I will keep nameless who took our temperature before entering the patient rooms was very unfriendly and unacommadating. I will be contacting Northern California Legal Services and ADA. This is not just COVID and responsible prevention but unjust. read more

The only reason for a 2 star review is because we like the doctors... the staff is horrible... they dont communicate... they have multiple buildings for appointments.. schedule to go to one.. but switch you to a different building without telling you and then dont even know who you are supposed to see.. 80% of the staff has an attitude or is just damn lazy... there are some really good nurses... but most are just there to do their hours and get paid... What a joke. More than half of their patients in the waiting room are non native English speakers, yet they don't offer interpreters. Don't allow children in their office, yet more than half of their patients have children. Don't allow anyone to accompany patients even if they're disabled. Did my intake with the door wide open within ear shot and view of the whole waiting room. Visit with the doctor or rx nurse Yang was also a total joke. Looked down and avoided eye contact the entire time and got offended when I asked a few questions. Answered condescendingly, then shifted the conversation to her "concern" about how I had reported that I had 3 drinks a day and how that was bAd 4 mY hEalTH aNd cOulD cAuS3 cAnCeR LMAO! If you're genuinely "concerned" you *should've* asked me if I was in any type of recovery or seeking a more sober lifestyle and if I needed information on how to pursue that. Mind you this is my *first* visit to a GYNO referred by my primary care physician. I already have someone that I discuss NON GYNO "concerns" with and it's not you. I would not recommend this woman's health center at all to anyone. My daughter has a high risk pregnancy. Yet the Nurse practitioner says she is not, I have been pregnant 3 times with the same condition and have always had extra visits and ultrasounds. Yes, I was always considered high risk. She has HG which is another reason she should be considered high risk. Yet, they pretty much treated that like it's normal and nothing to worry about. That is on top of her other condition. She has a job that is very physical. She is in constant pain, in all her joints and back. She gets sharp nerve pain. Her job is overworking her. I tell her to talk to her health care providers and they tell her it's normal and to deal with it. I am afraid she is going to seriously hurt herself working yet the people who are supposed to care just do not care at all. The care here is shameful and a disgrace. I believe a call to a lawyer may have to come about in the future if her care does not improve. She is also a young mother, this is her second and she says she believes they treat her like this because she is young. Which again just shows the incompetence of the staff at this Heath center. read more

I've been with camellia Women's health for 3 years now and their patient care misses the mark. It's always been extremely difficult to get on the appointment line. They serve new patients first and neglect their scheduling line. My first appointment, there was no heartbeat. That was week 9. It took 5 weeks to schedule a DNC and when they finally made an appointment they said it was delayed because the hospital they're contracted with had an A/C problem with their operating rooms. And they didn't think scheduling at another hospital was a good idea. Fast forward to last year when i was pregnant with my son. I felt rushed through every appointment. They had an attitude about me not making it to the hospital they wanted and When I had my postpartum checkup Dr. Kelly didn't do a physical, didn't listen to my concerns and rushed me out. read more
