The castle playground was a big hit! You can get a solid walk/hike on the trails and they are well-maintained. Even in the winter, the gardens are nice and relaxing. The orchid conservatory is warm, vibrant, and thriving year-round! I was impressed with the size of their tropical plants - very impressive. It was a nice respite on a chilly December day. We were hoping to grab food at the cafe, but options were limited. Perhaps there are more food options during busier times. Overall, this is a great Charlotte-area day trip and a great place to take out-of-town visitors.

We got married in November and our guest are still talking about how amazing the venue was. CJ and Laurel are absolutely fabulous. They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was everything we could have ever wanted. I can't tell you how nice it was not having to stress about every little detail because I knew that they had taken care of everything. I got to enjoy every second of the day and I can't thank CJ enough for making that happen. She helped me get set up on the app (still a work in progress) and gave me a quick tour. The big main spaces were already reserved but the phone booth space was adequate to my needs. The internet speed was decent but there was no ethernet cable for direct connection. The common kitchen area was clean and beverages were available as well as small snacks. Terry, the director for the space, was very helpful in troubleshooting issues with billing and reservations. Pricing was also reasonable for a one-day pass. Military veteran pricing is available. If I came to the city more often, I'd get a subscription because it's very close and isn't overcrowded like some co-working spaces.
