Short and simple. I cancelled service and cannot get my refund for credit balance of $58.87. I have called 7 times over the last 6 months. The first call - oh - you'll receive your refund in a cople of weeks. Then - it will be a month. Then - it will be 3 billing cycles... and so on and so on. I love the fact that I have all those calls recorded as proof. I called yesterday and today - they say it will be mailed - but refuse to give me a date it will be mailed. It's been SIX MONTHS. I see from the previous BBB complaints - this apparently is their scam. The staff is incompetent and dishonest, just like the company. I look forward to posting additional reviews on multiple websites. They've wasted my time - so now I'm going to waste some of theirs... SMH. #Idiots read more

Their internet is terrible for the past few months I haven't been able to play games at all because it lags so bad it's by no stretch of the imagination impossible to even play video games, sometimes YouTube won't even load some nights, they also charge ridiculous prices for speeds that you only get a fraction of, can you fathom paying at minimum $50 a month for internet and getting sub 1mb/s download speeds? I have been waiting two months to get internet to my home and still being told I have to wait even longer with no end in sight. They provide no solutions or help to alleviate the issues. The people are nice and serviceable but the technology of this company is literally stuck in 2001. They are currently charging me 150$ for merely the cheapest phone service they sell (no long distance, etc.) and 10GB download/1GB upload. The service starts lagging uncontrollably every night. Worst internet ever. My friends are getting (this is no lie) three times the speed for a third of the price five miles up the road. Ridiculous. The employees are good people and mean well, but the technology is trash. I'm still on copper. Fiber's just up the road. 'Fiber' they say, still at 10GB? So with this new company taking over, it's alright. Internet is spotty which is a deal breaker however they have a monopoly so it's either them or no internet. I chose to have spotty internet over no internet for 100$ a month. I just got off the phone with a technician named (AK) I think. I told him coming in I was here to bitch and complain and I should probably be patched to customer service but he handled the situation well. Instead of passing me off to some other person to deal with my problem he went above and beyond to alleviate my problems. He was genuine and honestly felt like he cared about my issues ( after talking to multiple people who could care less). he de escalated the situation quick amd provided solutions to my problems. He single handedly kept me as a customer with his empathy. 10/10 for AK so if you ever have an issue or problem I would just ask for him. I called at 10 o'clock at night looking to bitch to someone and this guy had me laughing once I got off the phone. The man deserves a raise. read more

I hate their "service" with a passion! The only reason I am giving 1 star is because the site won't let me post my review without at least one marked. The other reviewer put it perfectly. The people are nice, but the service is beyond pathetic. I asked them repeatedly to come and inspect our lines because we could never stay connected to the Internet. We even said we would pay to require everything. They failed to help us and said the only option was to pay for the higher service. $40 extra a month and three years later, our internet still drops almost every single evening between 6-10pm. Forget the weekends completely. When we added the cable part of the bundle, the technician mentioned the lines were all messed up and improperly connected. He also said the outside lines had holes in them. I relayed this message to the office and went ahead and canceled the cable. I was thoroughly upset over being told the lines were not right when we begged time and again for them to come and check. I was contacted immediately the next day and asked to reconsider. The lady also informed me that a supervisor and a tech were coming out to inspect all the wires. They didn't. They walked inside and changed the modem. After making sure I could connect to the Internet, they left. I asked them twice if they wanted to look in the attic or inspect any other wires, and they said no. The modem was all they needed to change. Bottom line: Cameron Communications does not care about customer service. They care about getting their money. Other areas that have competition don't even pay as much for the same service. They have a monopoly on us here in Carlyss and Hackberry and they know it. The only reason we still have Internet with them is because it is our only option besides satellite. read more

People in local office in Moss Bluff, La. are nice and servicemen are also but internet service is spotty, seems to have sudden drops which stops any streaming going on and frequent stutters ( freezing of sound and picture) on regular and HD programming. they have been to my house several times, changed some equipment and has not fixed problems. My internet speed sometimes drops below 5!! and I am paying for 15 gb speed! We are paying 170$ a month for our service and at times cannot use it. Unacceptable! Serviceman told me problem is in equipment at office and they are aware of it! Hmmmm. All we want in Moss bluff is the service we are paying for. read more

worst cable company ever, cant even get on at night, You need to add more nodes and pipes, to many customers on crappy internet. Every time a storm comes thru, our modem gets popped, nothing else does, except the modem, than you call and get told one to two business days they will bring another modem. Customer service sucks. Have to pay for phone service we dont need or even have hooked up. You want to charge people out the azz each month, put money into your company and make it better, hopefully suddenlink will eventualy put you out of business. Sorry azz internet company read more
