Joy saved my eye lashes! I made the mistake of buying a Groupon for lash extensions elswhere only to realize within a week that I had received a botched job. I was referred to Joy at Cameron Park Esthetics, who took one look at my lashes and urged me to get them off ASAP - even if I didn't get then redone by her, she did not want me to loose my lashes! However I did have Joy do a new set and they are fabulous!!!! I get so many complements on them and I don't wear any eye make up at all. They are beautiful! I can not recommend them highly enough! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE JOY ROSE! I got a set of lashes done and she was able to squeeze me into her busy schedule. I was a little hesitant to get them done considering I only got them done once. Joy made me feel super comfortable about getting my lashes done and made sure we did something that looked natural but also look full. She was very efficient with her time and my time and got my lashes done in a reasonable time. I will definitely be back for more fills Joy also gave me non surgical face lift skin treatment using nature pure labs and micro-needling. Facials scare me because I have really sensitive skin but this facial was awesome. I was very relaxed and Joy made sure nothing was burning my skin while doing it. She also recommended me for her new skin care treatment sculplla to make my skin even better. I've been going to Joy for lash extensions for two months now. I've had fills every two weeks and each time they've been beautiful. I've tried lash extensions at other salons in the past and each time I lost my own lashes and ended up nearly lashless for months. Joy is professional, keeps her appointments and takes good care of your natural lashes. The prices are very reasonable. I've paid so much more for lashes in the past only to lose my own lashes. For the review that stated they don't call back I would say call again. She's super busy because she's so good! Update 6/29/18 I still go to Joy for my lashes and they still look great, no damage to my own lashes. I get fills every three weeks now. read more

I've only started getting my eyelash extensions with Joy but have been getting extensions for over two years (previous extensionist moved away from the area). Joy's by far the best as far as quality of eyelashes (they stay on longer) and she's very fast! It took almost two hours with my previous extensionist and Joy takes an hour! Called the other number posted on their website and talked to the other Joy-the one that doesn't do lashes- and she said she would have the other Joy call me. I visited this salon for my first set of lashes. While Joy was nice during the application I have to review her conduct after the set of lashes were applied and some of the issues I experienced. I contacted her a week and half to maybe two weeks later after the set was applied. I had experienced pain in my lash line because multiple natural lashes were glued together with a false lash resulting in pain. I took pictures of what was falling out of my natural lash line and sent them to her. You could clearly see in the picture that a false lash was applied to multiple natural lashes. I wasn't so upset about this because I knew it could be corrected, it was they way I was treated in the text messaging. I felt attacked as Joy blamed me for the entire problem. She demanded that I used water or must have got my lashes "wet" before the first 24 hrs after application. The reality was I didn't shower or wash my face that evening to next day because I wanted my lashes to be in tip top shape. If she would have just corrected the problem without making me feel that this was my fault all would have been good. I ended up having my lashes removed by a local lasher in Placerville and I was told the lashes used were too heavy and long for my natural lashes as well as I had what is called "stickies" (too much glue used). I do not recommend this establishment for lashes or any other service. read more

I am obsessed with my new lashes! I've been looking for a great spot that did eye lash extensions that look natural and wouldn't cost me $200 for my first set. I stumbled across Cameron Park Esthetics and decided to try them out. I reached out via Yelp to make an appointment and Joy responded in less than 12 hours! She is such a sweetheart and has some serious Lash skills. She's been doing them for about 10 years and it really shows. I've just had my 3rd appointment with her and she's seriously the BEST! I get so many compliments on my eye lashes it is crazy. I don't like lashes that look like I glued them on for the day and Joy does such a wonderful job at making them look natural. That was very important to me. I wanted to look like I woke up with mascara on but not like I was about to go clubbing. Can't say enough good things about Joy and her beautiful work! Joy was amazing- I got my lashes done for my wedding and they are great. I don't typically wear a lot of make up (I'm getting crazy if I put on eyeliner, and I don't ever wear eye shadow) and when I said I want something that will show up in pictures but not make me look like someone totally different she knew exactly what to do! I have to update my review!! I have been coming to the owner, Joy for almost 2 years now! I have never been happier with the outcome of my lashes. Joy is so meticulous when it comes to my lashes. She goes above and beyond with every appointment! Did I mention how quick she is? Jesus Christ! She does my lashes so quick!! She also did my lashes for my wedding which I am eternally grateful for! They looked amazing and having the volume lashes gave every photo that extra pop. I don't even have to wear eyeliner anymore! Every time I get my lashes it is such a treat! I love her office!
