Alright so, another wax virgin here! : ) I decided to come to Kelly based on her reviews and because I live in Rancho and she is so close! Super easy to schedule an appointment online, as well as easy to get to-right off Sunrise by White Rock. Of course, the google person that I am, I sat there and googled my life away for experiences of Brazilian Waxes and was basically mortified before I went in. Ended up texting her the evening before asking her about numbing spray and anything else to stop the pain. She said, just some motrin! AHH, are you serious? Anxiety was kicking it and was super nervous to even go.. Anyways, I don't flake and end up showing up right on time- she is SUPER cute and SUPER friendly, which automatically made me feel one million percent easier. She let me know that she would let me know if she felt I wasn't a good candidate based on my hair thickness, skin etc. after we started. I was prepared to be tortured through the entire wax and leave crying, BUT instead it was more of a sting when she ripped and lasted MAYBE 5 seconds. She was super gentle, kept me distracted through her convo the entire time and made me feel SO comfortable. It was like the easiest experience ever and I am so happy that I found her. Will be seeing her again in 4 weeks! Highly recommend for virgin waxers and all around. : ) read more

Kelly, I had to write a review for you because you did such a good job on everything. First time bikini waxer here so I was nervous and didn't really know what to expect. From the first moment, Kelly was easy to talk to and just instantly makes you feel comfortable. She was great at distracting me with conversation while waxing, and she was very gentle and easy on me through the whole thing. It definitely was not as bad or as painful as I was expecting and I know that's because of Kelly. I'm not typically the type of person that will feel comfortable easily in this kind of situation (bikini wax) but it was so easy with Kelly. If I could give her six stars, I would. Kelly is that good. I was a wax virgin the first time I visited Kelly. She made me so comfortable and figuratively held my hand through the whole process. Her sweet personality and sincere desire to help you and make sure you are happy makes the whole process painless (well, as painless as a wax can be. Which is, well, you know.) She uses a soft hot wax which peels off smoothly, and doesn't leave a super sticky residue. Her knowledge on what works for different people is amazing...I'm allergic to most products, and she was quickly able to help me with some after care options. I'm the sort of client that will follow a stylist from location to location, over long distances. (I went back to Burlingame to my hair stylist at Trio for over a year after I moved to the Sac area!) Today was my first visit with Kelly for a Brazilian wax. I usually go to EWC in Folsom, but saw Kelly's post on Next Door, so I decided to schedule an appointment on Vagaro. I'm so glad I did and had a great experience! Kelly is super nice and very thorough! My skin is super soft and smooth after my visit, and there's barely any irritation after. I don't usually like to post a review for a service or business right away, I often feel that the feeling of excitement you get from great service, or the anger and disappointment you get from bad service really taints a review--it is hard to give a truly honest review when emotions are that high. However, this time I just can't stop thinking about the great experience I had with Kelly, and I cannot wait to write a review! I received my first service from Kelly today...a brazilian wax, although not my first one ever. I usually go to European Wax Center, which I would still recommend, as they are definitely clean and their process is as painless as it can possibly be. Kelly operates the same way, but I like her a lot better...probably because it is more personable with her! Her "room" is in the back of Echelon Salon, walk in and it's right in the back. She is so incredibly friendly and bubbly and just fun! I have had a great experience being waxed before, and some not as great. Some women I have had fun conversations with, but none made me laugh like Kelly! She makes it just as painless as European Wax Center, so if you have experience going there, you will love her. If you don't, you'll love her anyways, because she can only make it as comfortable as it can be, if you know what I mean! ;) I asked her about facials, as I have never had one, and she didn't try to push it on me or sell anything on me, just educated me on why it is beneficial, and how it is something I can do as frequently as I wish, it is all about learning about my skin. I love her honesty, her desire to educate her clients, and just her all around great service and business practices. Not to mention she was extremely precise, getting every hair, and showing me how to take care of ingrown hairs before they get to be a problem! I was so impressed with the level of service I received and it was just an all around great experience! I should also mention I was a Groupon customer and was unsure what to expect, as I have heard that some Groupon customers are treated less than other customers (not here, just in general), but that was not at all the case. These old reviews are still valid- Kelly does a fantastic job. I had a bit of a botched first Brazilian at Euro Wax Center where they picked and plucked away at the wax, with no clean pulls. I was hesitant to try again, but a coworker referred Kelly and raved about her. I figured I'd try again. It was well worth it. Kelly really is friendly (and not the fake kind), and she makes you feel comfortable, because, let's face it- that's a pretty personal area. She is extremely professional; it is a quick, clean, and relatively painless pull (obviously, there was some pain, but much less than what I experienced at EWC). Kelly also does a fabulous job at distracting you during the process, and though she claims to be "aggressive," she really is just giving you the absolute BEST service. I am extremely happy with my results and will definitely be going back to Kelly. If you like the wax they use at EWC, her hot soft wax is similar, but will provide you with a better experience. And again, her professionalism is top notch! read more
