Got a spray tan here! Lauren was very sweet and worked with my medical requirements. Beautiful and clean salon. The only minus was the miscommunication as I didn't get directions for before and after care. I also called asking if it was ok if I can get sprayed with a feeding tube, and didn't get an answer. I have had my hair cut twice now by Erin and WOW! I am very specific about my haircuts. I have very thick heavy long hair and when I asked her for 2000s layers she knew exactly what I had in mind. The second time I got my haircut with her (a few days ago) she fixed a botched haircut I got the week prior with someone else. She was able to tell me exactly what was wrong with the initial cut and took me from looking like a suburban mom of 7 to a vivacious youthful-looking woman. She walked me off a cliff and made me fall back in love with my hair. I can not say enough good things about her approach and her work. You can tell she has a passion for hair. I've become a regular for about almost a year with Lauren. I go here for Brazilian waxes and 2 cocoVs so far and my experience had been always so wonderful! I was pregnant as well and Lauren was able to keep me as her client even after a a couple of months of break from waxing during recovery postpartum. Unlike my previous waxer whom I will remain unamed, dropped me as her regular client because I also was going through postpartum recovery and needed to time to heal for my first baby. Being able to remain a regular client even during postpartum recovery break from waxing is important to me and I'm appreciative that Lauren was able to understand the needed break to heal. I didn't need to go out and find another person for Brazilian wax services. Scheduling is also easy as she can schedule you out after your service or online! I feel it's important for me to leave my review, even though it's uncomfortable to do so. I had my first wax with Lauren today and booked an eyebrow wax. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked Lauren if I could hold up the mirror while she does the eyebrow wax since I'm nervous of new people doing my brows. Lauren was visibly annoyed after I asked this and rolled her eyes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I felt uncomfortable by this so I just trusted her to do it without me looking with the mirror. I didn't like how they came out and was sad with the outcome, and I regretted not leaving after she made me feel bad for my request to hold the mirror. I'm giving this review two stars, since my first eyebrow wax at this salon with Kaziah went great. Lauren's studio area is so inviting and very comfortable, I got waxed by her the first time since my normal girl was totally booked and I have to say I absolutely love it. She leaves no hair behind, she's very quick and precise. I'm not sure if it's the beads she uses or her technique (and not that Brazilian waxes are supposed to be painful) but it was so quick it didn't hurt when she did it. She's super sociable and makes it easy to talk to her without any awkward silence as someone's waxing downstairs. It was difficult the first time I went cause I couldn't find the salon very well at first, but Lauren is super quick to respond. We had a bit of a rough start in the beginning with the scheduling. But luckily, it got worked out and Lauren's my new go to for the Brazilians. Her prices are about the same as other places, but you can buy 4 and the 5th one is free. Of course you pay for all 4 up front. A package deal. But it's worth it. And Lauren's the 2nd estitician that I've been to for waxing and not sure how she does it, but for some reason - it doesn't hurt as much compared to my last person.
