The San Juan Metropolitan area, which includes the northern part of Guaynabo (where Caminito is located), has lots of Argentinian restaurants. Unfortunately for Caminito, it doesn't stand out from the bunch, in my opinion. The churrasco my wife ordered was very good. The bruschetta we had as an app was decent but I wasn't a fan of the bread. It was sliced too thick. I prefer thin and crispy like crostini. My main dish was the veal Milanese. The meat was well cooked but the breading was lacking some flavor. Maybe I should've ordered it parmigiana or napolitana. The cheese and sauce would have covered up for the lackluster breading. The Caesar Salad and mashed potatoes were good. Overall, solid three stars, which is good. Just not good enough to stand out from the pack and warrant future visits. read more

Out of all the restaurante in Plaza Suchville, this was the least one I liked. It was disappointing. The service wasn't great and the food was nothing special. The churrasco was fine but compared to other restaurants it was average. The tiramisú was the best thing we ordered. read more

Great service and everything was delicious. We had a mixed appetizer and it was great for giving us a sample of various items on the menu. It was great they provided a free sample of the soup of the day, which was in this case sancocho and it was delicious. I had the shrimp al allijo with arroz provincial and it was absolutely perfect in amount and seasoning. Others at the table had the churrasco and let's just say none of them had leftovers to take home. Everyone enjoyed the taste and quality of the steaks. And, we had a wine, that was the best we've had on the island. Overall, great service topped it all off. Oh my, I'm hooked. Went by myself to this Argentine Steakhouse, and both the service and the food were outstanding. Upon arriving, the restaurant was completely full, and remained that way the whole night. But despite being busy, they got me on a wait list right away and it was only about 10 minutes before I got a table. Sometimes dining solo can be a little odd with the service, however the waiter and service was excellent. I started with the Ceasar salad. If there is anything I would pass on next time, this was it. Their salad dressing is off. Next, we discussed the steaks and the waiter suggested an off menu item, El fin del mundo - a churrasco flank steak wrapped around seasoned yuca and topped with a mushroom sauce. Wow. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium rare, and was wonderfully tender and flavorful. This, I would order again and again. Finished with espresso and dessert. Summary, great atmosphere, service and outstanding food. I will definitely be back for more. read more

Divino! Came to PR to visit and brought my mom to this restaurant, the door tricked us and we couldn't quite figure out how to get in, but once inside it was perfect. We came on a weekday and I was surprised they had a few tables busy but it wasn't a crazy rush. Service was wonderful, they had a large TV with the table tennis tournament and the locals were really into it but still kept it quiet for the most part. We had skirt steaks and sweet plantains and it was simply divine. They had a good offering for wine and bubbly and we enjoyed the house wine and some bubbles. We didn't try any desserts because our portions were big and we didn't have any room but the food was really good and the seasoning was on point. It wasn't my number one place in PR but I would recommend to friends. Will be back on my next visit read more

It's nothing like an authentic Argentine restaurant. Not only is half my family from Mendoza,Argentina. Been there too many times to count. I have been to others in the PR metro area that are 101% better.DO NOT Go. The Veal milanesa was too thick and tough,the chimichurri sauce was watery & had no taste what so ever. Excellent food. First they serve you the traditional bread baskets, and a shot of the soup of the day. Server was very attentive although service overall was not too fast. We had a half bottle of wine and two steaks, everything was delicious. Be sure to ask for the special plates of the day.
