I feared going over the time that was budgeted, student moving out and student is super broke but Cle made it his business to stress a super helpful game plan. He organized, directed and executed all of us "trying to be helpful but were probably in his way..." lol To get all items to the moving commercial size truck and then 5. They were very apologetic and told me they had been in contact with the local branch. The local branch manager also reached out to me to apologize and confirm the full refund. I thought this was a generous resolution and very much appreciated it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Unacceptable Service & Communication - Forced to load their trucks for them and left with a ton of uncollected junk. We are a non-profit youth program that recently attempted to clear out four storage units worth of items. Much of it needed to be disposed of, so we hired Junk Punks MKE to help us clear out. We don't expect any person or company to be perfect, but every single minute of their service was one problem after another. Here was the series of events: 1. Late Arrival - The crew arrived 30 minutes past the scheduled time window. 2. Truck Already Full - The first truck showed up more than half full from other jobs. 3. Breakdown & 4-Hour Delay - That truck then broke down, and it was four hours before a replacement arrived. During this time, we had to repeatedly call to get updates as there was little communication from them. In all my experience with disposal and moving companies, they have procedures in place for trucks breaking down, Junk Punks clearly did not. During this time we ended up taking several loads ourselves with our own truck. 4. Second Truck, Same Problem - When they finally returned, the replacement truck was again over half full of other junk. 5. No Crew Left - By this time, the majority of the junk team had gone home for the day, leaving us to load the truck ourselves. That is labor we specifically hired Junk Punks MKE to provide. I do want to commend Meech, I assume he was the team leader, for being the only worker to return. He was apologetic, and doing his best alone -- I felt bad that the rest of the crew left him in that position. 6. Unfinished Job - The second truck quickly became full again, and because it was the end of the day they had no plans to return to collect more of it. Because of this, we were forced to rent our own U-Haul longer, incurring an additional $185 in rental costs on top of the disposal we must now complete ourselves. 7. No resolution - When I reached out to their company, they told me they would give us a total of $350 off for the inconvenience. I had felt this to be fair enough of a resolution for the experience. However, they never processed the full refund or sent additional communication. Since we ended up doing the labor for them, it would have been cheaper for us to just rent our own trucks and do everything ourselves. We do not recommend Junk Punks MKE.

Amazing Company to work with!…read more We have used Demo Boys 2 times in the last year and both projects we were just blown away by their level of detail and expertise, especially since we have a house from the late 1800s. The first project we did with Demo Boys was a complete gut job of our large 2nd floor bathroom. It was done in less than a week and no dirt or scratches were left behind on the stairwell or anywhere in the house! They even left behind some the of protective mats for the flooring so other contractors would not damage the floors! (Demo boys will come and pick them up when the project is complete) Our 2nd job was a gut job of our partially finished basement. Johnathan and his team were able to complete it in one day and walked us through what all of the old pipes were in the house and took removed all of the pipes and wires what are no longer in service! Be aware of Mr Mover's estimate and pricing strategy! They…read morebase their "guaranteed" estimate on the inventory list provided by the customer. Everything sounds good until they arrive on the designated moving day. In my case there were 3 people: the older boss and 2 amateur teenagers. The boss reviewed the inventory list and reached the unfortunate conclusion that the inventory we provided did not exactly match reality: 1) there was one extra floor rug (true); one of the two listed file cabinets is a lateral file (true); the piano is not a spinet piano as listed (see the attached picture. What is it if not a spinet!). As a result of his conclusion, the following items would not fit in their larger available moving truck: 3 sofas, a recliner chair, an electric fireplace, a dresser's mirror and the piano. Who would expect that?! After a very long and serious phone conversation with the office he returned and said they would make 2 trips instead of one as a favour (the new home is located just 10 minutes away from the old one), if we paid an additional $381. Of course we agreed! What choice did we have at that point?!Other than that everything else went ok. No damage occurred, and we finished moving in one day. Thanks God! It is a miracle how Mr Mover gets 4.8-star reviews on Google and 4.0-star on Yelp! We are never going to choose this company as our moving provider in the future!
