I live out of state and I come to Connecticut for work sometimes. I've been trying for 3 weeks to get and look into the store it says that it opens Saturday at 11:00 it is now 11:15 and nobody is here there's no lights on it seems like every single time I try to come here it's just closed. read more

So, this is my second time at the store. Both times, the sales lady was completely rude and thinks she is better than everyone else. She has not a shred of decency or humility towards the customers who are paying her paychecks. During my first visit, I was in the dressing room trying on a dress. The conversation I heard in the store between the woman and another salesperson went like this: "Did you see the fat woman who was in here yesterday? I can't believe she squeezed her body into such a tight little dress. It looked horrible on her. I told her it looked great, though, and she ended up buying it...I feel bad for her husband." I ended up leaving, not wanting to be the "idiot" who was talked about on a different day. So, this is my second time at the store. For this occasion, I wanted to buy a sweater for a photo shoot next weekend. She was speaking with a customer about her dog's grooming. She said, "Well, it's kind of like an ugly baby. You can't do anything about it." The customer replied, "Well, at least it will be yours, so you will love it." She said, "No way. If you have an ugly baby, you don't have to love it.. you're just stuck with it." Having two children of my own, and also being a teacher and dealing with many beautiful (and, sometimes even disabled) children, I was really offended by her comments. If you go to Camouflage, yes the clothing looks great. But the service is absolutely rude and awful. Judging from the other yelp reviews, if the sales lady was able to just shut her mouth, she would have much better sales, in my opinion. read more

I have been shopping at Camouflage since it opened and have ALWAYS had an amazing experience. From the first time I visited this boutique the owner Puff has always been friendly and beyond helpful. I like going into a store and having someone pick out outfits for me and Puff will do that with ease! Puff is also honest which I appreciate! I can't stand when someone in retail tells me EVERYTHING looks great just to make a sale. The store is crowded but it is crowded with adorable, affordable clothing! I have been in this store a few times. Dark, overly crowded, over priced. The owner is a snob and treats you like you are beneath her. I recently went in there and on three occasions she told me I would not be able to look at things in the back because she was planning for her sidewalk sale and they were too hard to get at. I recently went for the first time to this tiny store. I knew its been around for a while and was really excited to spend some money. They do have nice things that are hard to find in the area and the prices were reasonable. I tried on a dress...my boyfriend loved it on me! ...he was so excited seeing me in the dress he asked the 2 women working there what they thought... Immediately one said I needed spanx while the other said the zipper was a pulling just a tad. Making me feel like a pos and fat I took off the dress and walked out. I've worked retail for years and I'd NEVER use those words to a customer. Btw...I'm a size 6 and don't need spanx! My bf was so thrilled seeing me in the body hugging dress...he said it looked perfect on me. These ppl won't be getting any of my money! Very poor and snotty service! read more

Very dark small space which makes it hard to enjoy the shopping experience. Things are really crammed in so hard to get a feel for what they even have. But, the worst part is they will ask you to leave your purse behind the counter as you shop. Excuse me? So you want me to leave my credit cards and cash with you? Not to mention there is no way I could fit even a pair of socks in my small cross body bag. Disaster on so many levels. read more

They are always honest with me, which I truly appreciate, and they never ever, put pressure on you to buy anything.
