She used to work nearby, so she's been here before while this is my first time. Because I had my pup with us, we took turns going into the farm and the store to look around. Harley Farms have working Anatolian shepherds guarding their goats, so it's against their rules to bring your dog into the farm/store as they are seen as predators. They can stay outside while leashed which is what we did with my pup. While there, we were able to pet some baby goats, took photos of the goats, the little horse, birds and the farm. We both brought like $100+ worth of goat cheese, pepperoni, nuts, etc. There's an area where you can sample wine but we didn't partake. A bit expensive and touristy, but we still enjoyed. Located on North St, around the bend from Pescardero Creek Rd.

We arrived at Bryerly Farms and it was nothing like we expected (not a farm in the traditional sense) BUT it more than made up for it in hospitality and the majestic horses we got to meet - most of which were wild rescue horses. Anne was so warm, very patient with my daughter and her one thousand questions about farm life and she introduced us to all the beautiful horses and ponies by name! On our way home, my daughter kept saying their names and how she wants to take riding lessons with one of the ponies. We're looking forward to going back soon , as we've been invited for an Autumn party and to pick prickly pears :)

The kids and adults all learned so much about tortoises, and the whole experience was incredibly informative, hands-on, and just so cool. How often do you get to get up close and personal with giant tortoises like that?! The owners were so knowledgeable and kind to open up their home and space to all of us. You can tell how much they care about their animals and sharing what they know with kids. Such a fun and unique experience, and we can't wait to come back again with my youngest for his field trip!

This video is just a small example of what happened. There were multiple instances where both the man and his wife raised their voices not only at the kids, but also at the parents. While the children still managed to have fun, the overall environment felt stressful and uncomfortable for many of us. We understand that managing large groups of young kids can be challenging, but the way the situation was handled made what should have been a positive field trip feel uneasy and disappointing.

I love seeing the field of yellow. It just makes me so happy. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. They're just bright and happy looking and BIG! Whenever I was picking which ones I wanted, I told my boyfriend "it's go big or go home!" so I tend to always pick the biggest ones! Lol We ended up getting a dozen as he purchased the $20 per person for both of us. So much sunflowers! Hahaha I love it. We trimmed the stems in their tables area, and returned the cutter to the front. I saw that the person offer twine so I asked for some twine to help tie our bouquet of sunflowers. I definitely enjoyed being here, and I've been here twice so far. First time my bestie took me here to celebrate my birthday two years ago. Then the second time I came here with my boyfriend! :) They don't have a parking lot, but you can park on the street for two hours according to the street sign. Yes, there were so much bees and other little buggies around and on the flowers.

To get this experience going, you'll check-in with the staff and let them know you want to do the sunflower experience. It's $20 for 6 sunflowers and they give you looper (thing used to cut the flowers), sign a waiver, and you can into the two different sunflower fields to pick which ones you like. If you want to walk the fields, without picking flowers, it's $12 per person. Once we paid, we grabbed our looper and headed out. We had the dogs with us, and they had a blast just walking around and taking in the scenery. We found the sunflowers we wanted, and headed back toward the entrance to cut and clean the ones we picked. When we were finished, they wrapped up our flowers in a bag with some water so they could make the journey back home with us. The staff here were amazing. Since it was our first time doing this, they were patient with us and explained their best tips to cut and clean. Very nice people all around! Definitely a fun coast side experience and a great thing to do when the weather is as nice as it's been. If you are planning on going out into the fields, highly recommend bringing shoes you don't mind getting dirty.

I recommend this unique experience for all because if you do not just break your usual pattern to stop and smell the roses or to pet and feed an Alpaca, life will pass by before you know it. It's a beautiful space on a hillside and you can see the herd and their guardian llama as you pull into the parking lot. We learned a lot about the alpaca life cycle, fed the boys, and my daughter got to hold and carry a cria. We bought two cute alpaca shaped soaps. I didn't experience any of the negativity others have complained about. It is a working ranch so it's not a petting zoo or a tourist attraction. Go with the flow and you'll have a great experience.

I was easily able to book a private guided ride with just the two of us and an expert rider. Our guide was so nice and equipped us with everything we needed to have a safe, but fun trip. You can tell the horses are very well taken care of and loved by the staff at the stables. The tour itself had beautiful views overseeing Los Gatos. It was a reasonably priced experience and absolutely worth it!
