Robert Bella was inappropriate with women, head of school Kate Blumberg treated me like a simpering brat when I asked for some time off due to a outpatient surgery. Perhaps it was because it was an abortion that she felt entitled to her judgement / mean girl attitude. The student loans they helped me to get were predatory at 12% through Fannie Mae. Cynthia Sawyer was catty AF and generally unhelpful and worst of all was David Mamet. We were encouraged to attend a retreat workshop in Vermont we would get so much out of it etc etc. I witnessed Mamet absolutely tear into a young woman as she was performing a scene ... it was the most awful thing ever. She was in tears and he continued to ridicule her and exclaim "why is she still crying, why can't she stop crying" it was beyond excruciating to witness this blatant abusive behaviour. It was 99% attitude and 1% applicable technique. Everyone should be aware the technique is very mental. If you're trying to get out of your head and into your body... go somewhere else.

The Barrow Group's Intermediate Scene Study class was the most exciting and inviting acting class I…read morehad ever been to. Kate Neuman was an angel, and someone who really got into the details of each scene. She used props and scene settings very astutely, making sure that all of our scenes were in context, rather than just dictated to the audience in a forced manner. My only caveat has to do with the introduction and physical coordination exercises in the beginning. They were so attention-grabbing and helpful that I wished that the rest of the class had more of the physical education commitment (rather than just scene study).

By lunchtime on the first day, I got this text: "I'm happy". Any parent of a tween knows how exceptionally rare this is! He thinks the instructors are great, loves all of the games and exercises, and has learned so much in just a few days. He is now eager to attend another week this summer AND wants to sign up for a fall class. I feel like we won the jackpot.

I was deeply moved by his passion and devotion to develop good actors, which is why I not only enjoyed taking his class but repeating again and again. Whenever my performance was good, he took his time to compliment me with all his heart, and that really helped to build my confidence. Rob also really took his time to give me constructive advice on what I needed to work on, and I did my best each time to implement it in the best way I can. I feel very proud that I was able to improve so much in such a short period of time. I feel I was able to learn what it means to simply perform with joy without any fear or concern of anything. I feel I was able to understand what acting truly means through his class. I can honestly say that meeting and working with Rob truly changed my life. Last but not least, I was so blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful and supportive classmates, and they created an environment where one can truly enjoy the art of acting.

Great Customer Service, Amazing Views and Chill Atmosphere!…read more We made reservations for my friend's birthday on 6/28 and this was one of the best overall experiences ever. Caio was very friendly and knowledgeable when it came on to the food and the drinks, he was also very entertaining and had great comedic timing. Camila was attentive, she came over to us and asked how everything was going and continued to check on us throughout the night. Even though it was super busy the staff remained friendly. The food was good, the portion sizes weren't big but were just right. The wings are not jumbo and the Truffle fries need to be tweaked, maybe change the recipe or call it fries with Parmesan cheese. As far as the drinks, the cocktail pouches were a hit. We had 2 each including two additional shots. This place is good for a happy hour, lunch, brunch, date, chill spot, etc. The views of the city were great, it's social media friendly with a lot of picture opportunities, they also have jumbo games such as Jenga, Connect Four and Cards. Overall it was a great night out. As far as the price point, multiple drinks will bring a hefty tab but that goes for most of the city.

You can also rent cabanas for larger groups and they have optional packages that can be reserved as well. They have a live DJ, music was great they played a mixture of new music along with older music for the more mature audience like my husband and myself. Everything was great for us, we truly enjoyed the change of atmosphere and crowd. If you are looking for a quiet place to have a conversation, I would not recommend this place. It's very loud, but in a fun way. Some people brought children, I personally would not recommend this unless you don't mind the drinking, yelling and smoking. Our food was good but the menu could have more dining options. I personally feel this place is catered more to people that are looking to have a light meal with plenty of drink options. It's more of a drink and socialize place. Again we LOVED it, because it was a change of scenery for us. The downside is that there is no restroom within the restaurant. You have to walk outside the restaurant to the end of the dock to use the public restrooms which normally has a very long line. This isn't ideal. Overall great experience. We checked out to the tune of a 200+ bill. The alcoholic drinks were pricey rolling in at $86 before taxes for four drinks.
