James Dean after his First day at Camp Crocket Little Campers
    jean b.

Camp Crocket Little Campers in West Seattle has been a game changer for us and our little pooch, James Dean. Our dude is a year old, a total extrovert with endless love and energy. Even with two, 1 hour walks a day his puppy energy is hard to contain which is understandable but a full day with Joe, his CCLC team and camp friends...comes home happy and exhausted. We know he is in good hands, having a great time and we are able to work at home without worrying about squeezing in visits and potty breaks in between video calls and meetings during the week. (Camp Crocket Burien is open on the weekend and for boarding).

I boarded my dog here for a weekend and everyone was friendly and the experience went well.

There is a temperament test to start, but this is a great thing because all the dogs are here to play nice.

He comes home tired and with a huge smile on his face. He has made great buddies there and it has been amazing for his socialization. He loves the staff, when I drop him off he doesn't even look back, he's just ready for his day with his besties. I have total peace of mind when he is there, the staff and owner Pascale are all so caring, attentive, engaging and experienced. If I've ever had a question or concern they have addressed it in a timely manner. They went above and beyond recently when my dog ate a little mushroom he found outside. They caught him in the act, rushed him to the vet, brought a sample to make sure it wasn't anything harmful, and all at their expense. He was totally fine, and I can't express how grateful I was that they took it so seriously and were swift with their response. When I say total peace of mind, I mean it. I can't recommend this place enough! Oh, and it's super convenient for pick up and drop off in West Seattle. Just an all around great place.

If you care about your dog, please read this…read more I rarely write reviews, but after what my dog went through at this facility, I feel obligated to warn others. I usually leave my dog with family, but they weren't available. I found this place through online research and ignored the red flags -- something I deeply regret. After a short trial weekend, my dog came home with a cut on his nose. They brushed it off and blamed him. Foolishly, I gave them a second chance for a longer stay. When I picked him up, he had a deep wound on his nose, a chipped tooth, and was visibly traumatized. He wasn't the same dog -- withdrawn, scared, and exhausted. When I contacted the owner, she avoided responsibility and offered no real explanation. After pushing for answers, she sent a photo of the small cage he had been kept in -- nothing like what I was told. She even tried to shift the blame onto my dog again. This place was neglectful and unprofessional, and I strongly considered pursuing further action. I would never bring my dog here again. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Your dog deserves better.

Second time I asked Tamar if she noticed anything that could have caused him to limp. She got very defensive and gave non helping random replies. Needless to say she didn't care a bit. I ended up spending lot of time and money at vet. Anyways, I stopped sending him there and found better alternatives.
