THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME AND i will be Back bc of Lillie she was Amazing!…read more My son's 5th bday was today and she gave us two balloons bc nobody came to his party. I cried he was happy. World saved! This review below was from first time! Fun! Fun! Safe and Clean and Happy Fun! We went in this morning party of 5/6 and were greeted warmly by the manager gentlemen so kindly even though my unruly kids were POUNDING on their doors. Once in the most kind and helpful lady was behind the desk and even though we hadn't prepped our waivers(wavers for safety reason) she slowly and kindly went over with each parent even though our kids were SCREAMING to go in she took her time and did it right and I got kids to simmer down and ensured they also would be good. Once inside the creative and colorful and safe and clean yet so well designed for fun space, we went wild. We had the whole joint to ourselves- we got there early and enjoyed the play to win (you win a toy every time) claw machines, the laser dance room, the slides and of course the maze of awesomeness!! The guy who was running the show was SPECTACULAR and totally WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND for us catering things to our whim practically as we went he made sure the toys we won were the ones we wanted. He made sure we knew where everything was and all the options for flash pass and the bumper race cars! It was so fun bc they were so accepting and accommodating yet still following rules so nobody gets hurt. We L O V E D our time and party there and will 100% go back this summer a ton. Oh and a special shot out to the young man behind the concession stand-- he went through all the snacks and drinks with each kid sooooo patiently it was amazing. Some wanted different things and he just calmly handled the tears and stuff. Those three made my day sooooo much easier and better. Forgot all of their names but next time I go in I'll be sure to get them and report back to ya

But beyond this, Lillee and Kennedy took great care of our complicated logistics, and when they found out it was my son's birthday, they made sure the friendly dragon made an appearance and danced around with kids! Just an amazing time!

Have you read the story behind funbox? The owner and his reason behind this? I could not- not go…read moreafter hearing it. I will start by saying I had an issue with my reservation and the staff was extremely sincere and worked around my challenges without any attitude or reservation. I have to give massive credit to the staff who are mostly high school/college students for their level of professionalism and customer service skill because a lot of time this generation is labeled as entitled or doesn't care. I got here on a Saturday for the first session at 10:30 am and I thought it's the perfect day for this- cool and 80. Just as a disclaimer, you should wear comfortable clothing that is breathable because you're in for a workout. I have a 5 and 2 year old- it took my two year old a lot of time to get adjusted to it because it's not the usual bounce house we go to and so many colors and things to do, it was sensory overload. Not the fault of the business, just my kid in true two year old behavior. We got out of the fun box to get a shaved ice and ended up going to the "obstacle course" section of Fun Box which was a big hit for my two year old. He literally went through the obstacle 3 times (I was drenched in sweat as a result) My five year old loved it too- the only thing I would make a complaint against is that there were not nearly enough basketballs for the hoop area which is a huge hit. I get it if balls were lost or broken but it would've been nice if there were more balls. I read some of the comments about water getting stuck on the inflatables or that there were some dirty areas but truth be told, I go to a lot of trampoline parks with my boys and this is by far the cleanest one I have ever been too. Yes, there was a little water but you're outside, you will have a little bit of bugs or water here or there but that comes with the territory. We can't fault the owners for natural occurrences. I had an amazing time with kiddos and I wish I had gone sooner because it was a lot of fun. If you can handle the heat, I would highly suggest going in the morning because it's not so crowded and you don't have to wait long to use some of the amenities but be warned it gets super hot super fast in the morning and as a result, the plastic gets hot too so it's a little tough going down some of the material. There are some shaded areas that are so nice and welcoming within the fun box. Overall, a great experience for families! Highly recommend!!

This was a fantastic concept, and would have been so much fun, but the experience left a lot of…read moreroom for improvement. It rained the day before, and the crevices were puddled with water, but as long as you watched where you were going, you didn't step in it. It was very hot, which allowed your socks to dry out fast. but unbearable without the purchase of snowcones. They can't really control the weather though. That said, it was as clean as you can expect an OUTDOOR bouncy house to be. No bugs except typical flying ones. Staff was all around in different areas, I'm not sure what they were supposed to be doing, but they took up all the shaded areas, so the kids couldn't even go up some of the towers. I made a quip about it to them, but we were about to leave anyway, so I didn't ask them to come out so the kids could actually play. I was very annoyed by this. It was not crowded at all. Front staff and snowcone staff was super friendly, and the bounce house itself is amazing. Cost of water and snow cones are pretty typical of any "event-type" place, so I wasn't surprised and they gave you a ton. I had the kids eat some, and I sat with it in the tent as they went back and forth playing and getting a few bites of snowcone, and it lasted nearly the entire 1.5hrs. I also was smart and brought my own ice water in an insulated water bottle..... it was fine! Areas of improvement: -staff taking up all the shaded areas in the bounce house- this itself deserves a 1star rating - honestly. -Maybe some industrial fans? To move the air a bit? Not sure how it would work in a bouncy house. Or leaf blowers to dry up the areas especially the "locker room" which smelled super moldy. Overall, it was an experience, and so much fun! We would go again on maybe a cooler day!

The Wilmette Community Recreation center houses 2 modern playgrounds, a preschool, tennis courts,…read morebaseball fields, state of the art gym facilities for adults and little ones, and a variety of indoor and outdoor extracurricular activities for all ages. The indoor facilities and the outdoor grounds are all very well maintained. The large playground was rebuilt last year and is one of the nicest ones in the North shore area. The small playground (which is part of the preschool) is fully fenced and has a splash pad that operates during the summer months. There is an outdoor walking path that loops around the entire Rec center and an indoor running path at the fitness center. There is also a state of the art gymnastics facility for toddlers to big kids. Overall, this is an excellent recreation center that is very well maintained and has just about everything. The only negative aspect of this center is that the playgrounds can get too crowded when all the kiddos from the preschool, summer camps, and enrichment programs all come out to play. Otherwise, very highly recommended.

Here they run a variety of activities for children as well as adults and seniors. Almost any activity you can think of including sports, fitness, dance, theater, gymnastic and art are offered here. They are always adding new things that are popular. My son just started a video game design class which is really up his alley. During holidays and throughout the year they put on special events for families to enjoy. They run a very good preschool which is one of the most affordable in the area, but make sure you book it early because it fills up fast. The quarterly book that they send to the residents is huge and nicely laid out with programs. You can register for classes with ease online or there. Not only that, but the staff are all very helpful. If there was ever a time when we were not completely satisfied or were suddenly unable to attend, we were refunded our money and never given a hard time. Anyone can sign up for the activities here, however it is just less expensive if you are a resident. What I love the most is the convenience of everything being in one location, so I'm not running all over the place. I also like how many options there are. We are always trying something new and fun. They put on the cutest theater productions and tickets are not expensive. The rec center has alot to offer so check it out for yourself!

We were first inside the day we went, so everything was neat and clean. The only reason I docked a star is because online it says they only allow in kids who have registered ahead. We called all day and no answer! My friend wrote to them on IG and they said just show up. They open at 9:00am, I called when we got there at 9:30 (per instructions on the door) and the lady said she would be there at 9:45 so give her a couple of minutes. I imagine due to covid they're short staffed / don't have as many kiddos going in, so it didn't deter us much, but just something to note. We would still happily return! A great rainy morning activity!

My mother approached the play area with shoes but did not enter and was scolded... She was not planning to enter. After watching the way the management treated their clientele, i would not recommend. I think what this owner needs to recognize is stomping around in stilettos like Miss Hannigan from Annie isn't an appropriate way to conduct business with children or an adult who chose your venue to host their child's party. There are companies that will bring play areas to your yard. Check instagram. I had a party for my child at a gym where we had a company drop of a beautiful play area same rate way more hours of play.
