SUPER fun!!! (But also expensive) My son and I had a blast, though. Everyone there was in a good mood and having a great time. Here are some tips: Do not go the day after a major rain. Sign up for early morning or evening slots bc it's gets HOT in there!!! (We went at 4:00 and I waited for a day when the high was less than 79). If you have grippy socks, wear them. They sell "grippy" socks...but they aren't super grippy, tbh. BRING WATER-otherwise, travel light. Wear shorts with zipper pocket or those leggings with the pockets. I suggest 1:1 ratios for adults and kids if possible. For adults-the big yellow "hill" is hard to climb. The key to getting up there is to go slow-not fast-and don't take a running start. The ticket prices are steep, I won't lie, which is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. BUT, it's just one of those things that seemed worth it to me and it was. :)

I've gone to a few of these bounce park events and was underwhelmed after our last event at Bounce the City last month. After advertising the world's biggest bounce park, I was sad to see it was only 2 main bounce areas and a tiny additional one for toddlers. Of the main ones, there was an obstacle course (ideal for 3-12 year olds) and an extra-large arena with slides, climbing structures, and a very large bouncing pillow hill (that was too big for small kids to climb). Unlike Bounce the City, there wasn't a live DJ or any active engagement with the crowd. The staffing was minimal and mainly to supervise the tall climb in the big structure, but otherwise sparse. The nice differences, however, were the provided (non-locking) pocket cubbies and carpeting around all the inner areas.

Misleading info. Expensive refreshments! The confirmation states 90 minute session however they usher guests out after 75 minutes. They say "no shoes" but neglect to say socks are required. They say socks are available to purchase for $3 per pair, but they actually charge $4 per pair. The snow cones are $7 each with way too much shaved ice for small children (their target demographic) and no smaller size available. Cold water from Costco $3 per bottle. Total cost was approximately $80. All that said, my two grandsons (age 2 1/2 and 5) had a great time.

Great place for kids to go wild and have a great time! The team was amazing and were very helpful. I recommend getting the VIP tickets it's worth it. Snow Cones were delicious! What I loved the most was that there is two seating areas for the parents to sit and relax. Will definitely be coming back.

Had a GREAT time here with some friends. It's a super convenient location, HUGE bouncy kingdom with lots of activities, free parking in the mall's lot, and enjoyed a refreshing snow cone after sweating from all the jumping. 10/10 recommend

ONCE UPON A TIME.......IN LOMBARD…read more This beloved indoor entertainment center is still hanging in there after 40+ years. I'll admit, I didn't have "attend a work outing at Enchanted Castle" on my 2025 bingo card, yet here we are. I found myself reminiscing about birthdays from the past, how many tokens I spent here as a preteen, and what on earth I was doing at a kids entertainment center with a group of engineers. As they've been since 1983, Enchanted Castle on Roosevelt Rd in Lombard is a one-stop shop for fun.  They have party rooms, a large arcade with ticket counter and 7-8 different attractions.  It's like a bigger version of Chuck E Cheese with a medieval theme, a Dave & Busters aimed at kiddos. You can pay for things a la carte, or get a $40 "max pack" that gets you a $15 game card and access to any 3 attractions.  Our large group hit up the arcade, mini golf, laser tag, and go karts.  One staffer helped us out during our time here, and kudos to her for being patient when we couldn't make up our minds on what to do next. I'll start with the best: the go karts ($9/pp).  Although the track itself is small and not terribly exciting, these go karts were peppy and handled well.  You get a decent number of laps, too, and it must be popular enough to warrant having its own dedicated entrance off to the right - Castle Karts. Next came laser tag ($9/pp).  The packs seemed heavy, but the guns were very accurate IMO.  It was a 'capture the flag' objective and despite a small arena, there was just enough space to move around.  They also have Route 66 mini bowling ($5/pp), bumper cars ($5/pp), a scaled down 'Scrambler' type ride ($5/pp), and a playground area with slides ($5/kid). The glow in the dark Black Knight's "Adventure" Golf ($7/pp) was the weak link of the bunch.  9 holes of poorly lit, uninspired putt putt with odd scenery choices - they couldn't decide between skeletons or squires - and lazy hole design led to several in our group bailing partway through.  One girl even twisted her ankle walking around an obstacle!  This is an area that could definitely benefit from a facelift or new attraction. Back in the 90's and early 2000's, Enchanted Castle had a 3D motion theater that played several iWerks films like Dino Island, Alpha One Cowboy, and Red Rock Run.  This wild motion simulator was always the highlight of my visit, but I can't find ANY record of it in web archives..... was this a fever dream?? Their arcade has a mix of new and old, lots of ticket redemption games with flashy shoot-em-ups sprinkled in.  They had Beat Saber VR (for a whopping 24 credits) as well as some vintage games like the one where you use an air cannon to shoot out the clown's teeth.  Many years ago, they had a dedicated area for pinball machines....now they have none.  *sigh* I expected very little from the food and was pleasantly surprised.  The italian beef ($12) was pretty good, no complaints about the fries.  The large appetizer platter ($40) had a little bit of everything: 7 mozza stix, 7 wings, 7 tenders, 12 mini tacos, and 8 pretzel sticks with dipping sauces.  They also had beer on tap @ $6.50 per pint, not too bad. * TL;DR * Enchanted Castle is supposed to be for young'ins, but if you have fun here as a grown-up I won't tell anyone. Being in business for 43 years is no small feat, especially when you consider the sweeping effect COVID had on the realm of indoor entertainment.  I'm amazed (and relieved) that Enchanted Castle's drawbridge has stayed open despite so much volatility in the world.  I don't imagine that the handful of folks we saw on a Thursday afternoon is representative of how much foot traffic EC actually gets. Here's to hoping they have many more years ahead of them, making joyful memories for scores of kids in the western Chicago suburbs.  I'd hate to see an indelible part of my childhood be gone for good. "The handsome prince raced his mighty steed around the go kart track, while the beautiful princess enjoyed several games of Skee-Ball.  And they played happily ever after!"

3X THE FUN Triple…read morePlay is located in Hometown Square in between the train station and the season pass processing center. The ride opened in 1976 and was manufactured by HUSS Rides. It is also known as a Trokia, which means 'group of three' in Russian. The Triple Play has three arms extending out from a center column. Each of these cars can seat up to two people and are located at the end of every arm in a circle. Now the fun begins when the operator turns on the ride. The center column rotates in a clockwise motion while the cars located at the end of the arms rotate in a counterclockwise motion. I am getting dizzy just thinking about this ride and let's not forget the sweeping motion of the ride as it goes up and down. You will also notice a slight rocking motion of the car from side to side. Now my description sounds a lot worse then the ride actually is. In fact, this ride is quite mild. It is a great beginner ride for your little one as you slowly work your kids up to bigger and faster coasters. This is another one of those rides that I have ridden on as a child and with my child. It is always fun to share these childhood memories. The line may look long but it moves fast. If I do my math correctly 21 cars times 2 people means 42 people can potentially ride at one time. I also feel that many people miss this ride because it is tucked in the corner. Make sure to do not wait until the end of the night to ride this because it will shut down early to accommodate the evening stage show and the nightly parade. You have been warned. My little one loves this ride and it is always fun to ride with her on it. She laughs and giggles. It always cracks me up when she asks me to hold on to her. This ride only has a metal lap bar and it does feel like you might fly out as the ride goes into it's dropping motion. I was curious as to how many of these rides still exist. I was able to find out in the USA, there are at least eight Troikas in operation and they are located at Cedar Point, Palace Playland, Kings Island, Elitch Gardens, Kings Dominion, Fun Spot Amusement Park, Six Flags Great America, and Six Flags Over Texas. So get on board this classic Trokia ride and feel the spin.

This place has a roller coaster where the ball goes up this elevator and then down a mini roller coaster. There's a tiki course where the ball comes out of the tiki person's mouth. There are moving contraptions where you have to be lucky to hit it through when a door is open. Every hole is unique. There's also this huge pink castle behind the course. It's retro and fun! You would think that a place that's been around for decades would have pealing paint and things that are falling apart. However, everything is kept in such great condition! If you're lucky you can get a free game on the last hole. It looks like a big roulette wheel. I have only done this once and have saved my lucky token. It's a cash only business.
