What a super fun and cool experience! Been here twice with…read moremy toddler. Yes I highly recommend this to any one who loves SLIME! The whole experience experiences is about 25 to 30 minutes. Kids put on aprons, choose the texture of the type of slime they want. They have about five different options. Then you picked the color. (Lots of cool options) then you pick the scent, and you get to watch the slime master get your slime mixed all together.. you then head to a table to play with the slime, once you're ready for the mix ins you can pick between glitter, kinetic sand, and a few other options, and then a bottle up your slime. You're welcome to sit and play longer than the 25 to 30 minutes.... Each visit we stayed about a total of 40 minutes, which seemed to be enough for my three year-old. You are welcome to stand and watch you do not have to participate, but it's always nice to take part in creating precious moments and memories with kids. Starting price is about $25... they also have premade slime and some fun seasonal character slime which is a little more expensive. They even have slime kits. You can have a birthday party if you reserve the date in advance.. if I didn't live so far, I would definitely do this with my child and a few other kids. I highly recommend this experience for any age person just as long as you love slime! Me and my toddler will definitely be back in the future.

My boyfriend and I were debating where to get coffee (we're usually Endless Quest people), but…read moresince I've been yelping more, I've been trying to branch out. This spot popped up pretty high, and funnily enough, my boyfriend--who doesn't live locally--had actually heard of it from a previous visit, so we decided to go for it. Right off the bat: huge win on logistics. There's a nearby parking garage with ample space, and parking is free on Sundays and holidays, which already put us in a good mood. The place was packed when we went (Sunday), but in the best way. It's honestly adorable--there's a small playground, multiple seating areas, and everything feels very thoughtfully put together. I don't usually gush over ambiance, but the furniture, layout, and overall warmth of the space really stood out. Cozy without being cramped, lively without being chaotic. There were three people working, one of them quite young, and while we didn't order food, I did get a matcha--and wow. It took a while to come out, but when I saw how they were preparing it, it all made sense. Unlike most high-volume spots that rush matcha, they actually take their time with the full process. The result? Easily top 10 matchas I've ever had. Fresh, clean, energizing in a way that felt genuinely good for my body--not jittery, just right. They do have pastries and a couple of food options, though the savory options didn't really tempt me personally. That said, I'd 100% come back just for the drinks and the space alone. There's just enough white noise to sit and work comfortably, and the ambiance makes you want to stay awhile. This is officially going into my coffee + work rotation.

Upon arriving I realized the namesake is because parents are welcome to bring their kids for a communal play area (which does have an entry fee). It looked like a lot of kids were having a blast, so I already have recommended this cafe to parent friends!

Wilderness Cubs is absolutely amazing--one of the best decisions we've made for our daughter!…read more Living in Marin, we regularly take her hiking, so I was initially hesitant to sign her up. But once we did, we couldn't be happier. Wilderness Cubs isn't just about hiking and running around outside--it's a fully immersive educational experience. Our daughter gets the opportunity to learn about reptiles, amphibians, farm animals, insects, local plant life, and so much more, all while exploring and having fun with her friends. The live animal presentations are incredible, and the amount of information she retains and excitedly shares with us at home makes us feel so lucky to have found this program before she starts elementary school. In addition to hikes and animal visits, the children create nature-themed art projects, read books related to the day's lesson, and learn to identify local birds, animals and plants around Phoenix Lake. I love that now when we go hiking she's is the one telling us and her little sister what type of plant or bird we are looking at. If you'd like your little one to stay longer, there's also a fantastic afterschool program available. Wilderness Cubs has been such a wonderful experience that we're already planning to sign up our younger daughter as soon as she turns three!

Teacher Lesley has created a fun, comfortable, and outdoorsy experience, and our son comes home covered in mud with the biggest smiles on his face every day. It's so fun to see how much our kiddos can learn and enjoy by just being in nature with the class!

Esporterz is amazing! The team goes above and beyond in helping younger children learn the basics…read moreand they also encourage more experienced players to reach new goals. Nadia takes special care in where she places children around the room: friends next to each other, kids playing similar games next to each other, coding kids next to each other, etc.. Both of my children started summer camps there at age 7, and they always request to go back! My kids love the mix of gaming time with outdoor team activities- egg drop, capture the flag, etc... My younger son loves the coding program and is learning so much and he's very proud of what he can create with JavaScript. My older son is neurodivergent and feels totally supported, even when he changes his mind or needs different levels of involvement- the entire Esporterz team is Neuro-affirming and does a great job listening to each of their camper's needs. I always appreciate Nadia's clear communication and quick response time, she's very involved in all the best ways! We are extremely appreciative of the skills they are teaching our kids: it's not just sitting on a gaming screen all day, it's interacting with peers and gaining new skills. My kids can't wait to go back!

The parties run smoothly, all the kids have an absolute blast playing the games of their choosing, and parents get a stress-free two hours. Harrison is already campaigning to attend their holiday and summer camps, which tells you everything you need to know. Highly recommend Esporterz!!!

Shawn, the instructor who teaches at the same time is excellent, he interacts with the children, encourages them, gives positive feedback, and creates a supportive learning environment. The kids in his group seem engaged and confident. However, the female instructors assigned to the other group have been very disappointing. They show the course once and then mostly stand and watch. There is very little interaction, no encouragement, and no guidance throughout the class. These are 4- and 5-year-old children who need support, engagement, and positive reinforcement. I rarely hear a "good job" or see active coaching. Week after week, the level of enthusiasm and involvement from these instructors has been lacking. For young children especially, energy, facial expression, encouragement, and interaction make a huge difference in their experience and development. I truly hope the program can ensure a consistent standard of quality across all instructors, because the difference between groups is very noticeable.

When I asked what the payment was for, I was repeatedly talked over and the staff member (Auriyon) seemed put out by having to explain. The call began by noting it was recorded for training purposes, so hopefully Roger reviews these calls and uses them as a coaching opportunity.
