What a gem! The teachers are so nice, supportive, engaging, and amazing energy to have around your little one. My daughter does not speak/understand English so I was unsure if it made sense for her. That said, it's still SO much fun and she definitely still enjoyed it. She's 17 months old and daycare was closed for the holidays so she was looking for indoor activities! While the times don't work for us to be regulars, we will definitely look to do drop-ins when daycare is closed. read more

My son and I love Cucu's Playhouse. I have been bringing him here a little over 7 months now. These classes are great to get your child exposed to a second language and around other kids. Nilda and Yani are amazing. It's safe to say that I am a regular now and my son has connected with both of them. They are so welcoming and nice and always go above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable and get him engaged in the classes. I LOVE that they clean all their toys regularly and they even have a separate bin for all the toys that the kids put in their mouth to make sure they wash them. They use all natural cleaning supplies which is a huge plus in my books. I am a total germaphobe. The cleanliness of this place goes beyond my expectations. They also use high quality toys which is a plus. If you're thinking of joining this class, do it! You and your child will become regulars like us. :) read more

After taking my little one to both their music class and open play, I can not stop raving about this place! This is such a great place for kids to play, learn, and explore. The mother/daughter duo who run it are super nice, welcoming, and excellent with kids. I love that they created a place like this here in Marin. I also love that they have all sustainable toys (which are also for sale) and cleaner, non-toxic products and diapers in the diaper changing station. You must bring your kids there! read more

I would highly recommend Cucu's playhouse for a unique and special virtual Birthday party celebration! My daughter Valentina turned 2 yesterday, February 7th, and we had an amazing time singing songs, dancing, playing games and of course singing Happy Birthday with Nilda and Yani! Because of COVID-19 this was a virtual party, but not any less fun than an in person celebration. All our guests were engaged and entertained the whole time. We found CuCu's playhouse through a friend's referral. It's been over two months of classes and we couldn't be happier. Our 22-month-old daughter is getting exposure to a second language and loves everything about the classes we attend. It's such a joy to be able to bring her to something more stimulating than the average toddler gym session! It's clear they are trying to deliver an above average experience. The classroom is bright, clean and well designed and there's always something new for her to do. The toys are all sustainable. The teachers are brilliant with the kids and even the customer service is above average. (They send ME emails to ask questions proactively, something that hasn't happened with any class my older kids attend) Highly recommend! read more

What a lovely new space for the kids ! The owners (mother/ daughter duo) are so good. They were teachers in Cuba before moving to Marin. Lots of repetition to build kids vocabulary. Music class is a ton of fun with instruments, scarves, puppets! and all in Spanish! I love their concept of being also a toys boutique, where you can get buy those high quality toys for your children/ for gifts. I hope they get a lot of families, they certainly deserve it! Such a great place! Very clean with wonderful wooden toys. The classes are very engaging and my 3 year old has learned some Spanish words after a handful of classes. Open play is also a great time to explore all the toys. The owners are lovely people and great with the kids! Also has a clean bathroom with a real changing table, which is a plus. read more

I took my two year olds for their open play time, and they enjoyed it. There were lots of new toys to play with. I think if they were a little younger or a little bit older, they would've loved it even more. They space was smaller then I expected, so on it might be more chaotic on the upcoming raining season.
