Samantha was a rockstar in helping us with the details ahead of time, and Amy and Tiffany went above and beyond the night of to get it set up for us and move tables/chairs around as the evening evolved. They were also so personable and friendly and professional to all of our guests. It was such a wonderful evening and I could not have imagined having it anywhere else.

Arriving at Carnation Farms, not knowing what exactly might be there, I was firstly surprised to see the classic "Carnation Farms" logo with the exact font type and the carnation flower on the cans of evaporated milk that I have seen my entire life. Wait a minute, is this THE "Carnation Farms"? Well, yes, but also a no, but also a yes. LOL. I ended up reading the historical signs and chatting with the cashier for a while (there were no other customers - zero). Carnation was indeed the dairy farm that made the now world-famous evaporated milk, created in 1899. The business grew and thrived so well that the community of Tolt was renamed to Carnation in 1917 although the name changed back and forth two more times before it stayed with Carnation. In downtown Carnation, many businesses are still named Tolt, including the Tolt River. In 1985, Nestle brought the Carnation company. In 2016, the original Stuart family purchased the name "Carnation Farms" back from Nestle. The name rights exclude diary, but they have animals and is now a venue, amongst other business ventures. We missed a local market that was on the previous day. Today, this sleepy business sells many locally made products and hosts community events such as the local market. Limited bundles of produce represented the 'farm' name poorly, if I am being honest. I asked the cashier which products in the store are actually from the current farm. She pointed to the freezer case. I chose a frozen curry goat soup from the case. It was passable, more soup than goat, i.e. not much meat. If you want to visit, check their calendar of events and go for a museum tour or one of their many events. The shop itself is less interesting.

It truly has everything and is completely beautiful. There is tons of parking and it usually isn't too busy. They have yurts, tent camping, and drive in camping. All gorgeous spots. There are 3-4 amazing river access spots. The river has deep spots, shallow, fast, and slow, making it perfect for any speed of swimmer to hang out. There are usually people in floaties and on paddle boards enjoying the area. The view from the suspension bridge that connects the two sections of the park is stunning. It reminds me how much beauty Washington has and gets me choked up just thinking about it. There are endless cool trails to explore, all leading to fun little adventures and scenic views. This is the perfect park to just spend a day getting lost in nature, swimming, having a picnic, or having a leisurely campout.

Or you can come with your car or truck and stay on one of the spots at the beginning. Either way you'll have quick access to the Snoqualmie River with splendid view. You can also fish and have a good time with your kids in this small beach. When you cross the bridge be mindful for other people coming the other way or behind you. There is a sign that you must have some feet in between groups. You'll get to the trail which is at your right. Watch out for bears with cubs. It is a nice trail with pepples at the beginning. Not a good idea for strollers but still can have a great time at the lawn. Easy parking near the baseball field. Good way to spend family time on a weekend.

Their pumpkin selection was phenomenal with a range of colors, sizes and textures of pumpkins. The pumpkins were pre-picked but placed across the field so you still had to look around and use a wheelbarrow which we enjoyed. They also had activities like a tractor ride, animals to looks at and there was cider for sale. There was no shortage of areas for cute picture opportunities. The staff was super friendly and we just had a great time!

Just a heads up, the fields get very sunny all day long, so sun protection is a must. The strawberries are fresh and flavorful. We learned the perfect picking trick here: choose fully bright red berries. Avoid the overripe purple ones, as the bright red ones taste the sweetest and have the best texture. Let's start with the good stuff about this concert venue with this caveat; the bad is REALLY bad…read moreand it makes it really hard to focus on the good things Remlinger Farms has going for it as a concert venue because the bad seems unavoidable (we tried). The good: Beautiful setting Friendly folks manning the venue interior Ample beverage choices with reasonable markup Really good carrot cake Clean port a potties The bad: We showed up well before the venue opened at 5:30 hoping to secure a parking spot that would allow us to leave without the gridlock we had experienced prior when we went to the Black Keys. At that prior concert upon exit we sat unmoving in our car for at least 45 minutes before someone opened a back gate and let us out. We were hopeful the next time that they would have opened that sooner. But NOPE --They no longer open it, they claim, because the city requires they keep that exit clear for emergency vehicles. If you arrive early, DO NOT ALLOW THEM to park you near the back fence/gate. They will not let you out the gate and you will be the last to leave. This is super frustrating because you can't help but see that there's a gate and a clear path away. The visual of an exit is hard to look at when you're stuck and unmoving. Remlinger Farms needs to take into consideration that the first to arrive should be parked closer to feasible exits. It seems unusually punitive to require early birds to be the last to leave, while staring at a blocked exit --when they give up more time prior to the concert to be there early. When cars don't move at all it also just brings up something primal that we all feel when we're trapped, (fight or flight)with no escape. After the Cake concert, with our cars In the back section, we all left our vehicles to see what was going on. One of the women there said that her sister had arrived at 6:45 PM, 15 minutes before the show started and was already on her way home. The show had ended at least an hour prior. Several people gathered and the mood was getting escalated. Trapped people are frustrated people. This to me is completely unacceptable and poor management of resources. To express our frustration , feedback and case for letting us out the gate, some folks all started talking to the manager of parking about what was happening, including telling him of our early arrival---and while the kid was polite he probably was about 19 or 20. You don't put a kid in charge of crowd control during parking exits. This is completely irresponsible and not well thought out. While they may have devised a plan to empty the parking lot as swiftly as possible, in fairness, they also need to take into consideration that first and first out is really a thing, and it keeps people from becoming irate or desperate to leave. One person had their toolbox and was ready to take the back gate off the hinges-- I kid you not, And I don't blame the reaction. At the heart of it, we are still animals that will go to lengths not to be cornered. It's understandable to be the last ones to leave if you are the last in. And that would be a normal expectation. It's unacceptable when you are the first in. Two stars are for the venue and drink service. Zero stars for parking. Will we return? Maybe if the headliner is super amazing and there's a clear indicator that this situation has been mitigated. But if we're seeking an outdoor venue Chateau St. Michelle is the clear choice. We have a limited entertainment budget and choose to spend our money at a venue that respects our time and ensures that we are granted an easy exit. This parking situation is a big deterrent from an otherwise, good venue. We shouldn't feel trapped and panicked after a fun night. I hope management sees this and makes much needed improvements. Until then, we'll seek out other venues first.

Erin went above and beyond to bring my vision to life in more ways than I thought possible. Erin asked me for three words to describe the aesthetic I was hoping for and wow did she deliver on it. She was so kind and sweet, very easy to work with and communication was fantastic. The floral arrangements around the venue were so lovely and everyone complimented them. If I ever have the need for florals again, she will be the first person I call. Highly recommended if you need flowers and/or arrangements for any event!!!

Turn from Duvall-Carnation onto their pathway. Feels like entering to a peaceful place. Go all the way up to their gift shop cottage. There are only like 3 spots, but cars like parking very near the terrace part. I would encourage everyone parking o. The other level just yo keep the view clean. Outside is just so beautiful with these plants hanging on the walls, a small lounge part, or tables where you get to sit. Or you can always take a picture on their Cinderella style couches. Sip a glass of wine inside during a hot day. There is juice for small ones :) I didn't have anything else. But I bought goat milk soap l, and a body scrub. Unfortunately, it tinted my clothing, but smelled nice. I wish they could carry a larger variety of wines.
