We visited on a Friday afternoon during the school year and it was the perfect day for it, not crowded at all, staff was warm and attentive everywhere you turned, and there was just so much to explore across two floors. As a homeschool mom, I am always on the lookout for places where kids are learning without even realizing it and this delivered completely. My little ones were engaged the entire time, bouncing between exhibits and coming back to do things on repeat. The water table on the second floor was a huge hit (dam building = instant obsession), the crawl-through body exhibit had them giggling the whole way through, and the immersive hall with the giant projector and the orchestra activity where they put their faces into the performers? They talked about that the whole ride home. We timed our visit to catch the 3 o'clock otter feeding and training, definitely worth planning around. Maybe 30 people gathered and it was totally manageable and really sweet to watch. What surprised me most was how engaged I was as an adult. I was genuinely learning things alongside my kids, which is not always the case at these types of places. It felt appropriate and interesting for every age in our group. A few things to know before you go: follow the directions on their website for the specific parking garage , it's about a 5-minute walk and was only $5 for us. Strollers and wagons are totally doable with elevators throughout. They also have a café if you want to make a full day of it, and rotating special exhibits (always check the website ahead of time so you know what's on and whether it fits your crew). We stayed about two and a half hours and left happy. Already thinking about when we're coming back.

Very overpriced. I feel bad for the large local families who can't get in at all or can't get in to…read morethe "special" exhibit. I have seen every special exhibit and let me tell ya - not worth any extra fee, especially what they charge. But with that said the Da Vinci center is only really worth it for the "special exhibit". It REALLY pays off to become a member even if you think you'll go once a season. Nothing so impressive. No real meaningful selling points. It's just okay. I liked it better when it was on CC. Go on Sundays. It's empty and street parking is free.

Walking up to the door I'm carrying an infant carrier in one hand and the child's birthday present (bag) in the other hand. All three teenagers are standing on the other side of the door looking directly at me and can't muster the situational awareness to help me out and open the door. I ask through the door if they can open the door for me and help out, please. Still stand there doing nothing. Ok. Guess we'll chalk it up to laziness. I eventually get inside with my wife and our four kids and remark to the employees, "thanks for helping me out there". Again, zombies. I guess we should be glad they weren't just staring at their phones. An hour of the kids playing goes by and it is now time for dodgeball after having just eaten pizza and chicken nuggets. The kids are being led by the employees and having fun, no issues. Then one of the employees has the bright idea of inviting adults in to play dodgeball with the kids. Kids that are aged 4-9 years old. You would think the parents of these same children could show some restraint and not act like neanderthals whipping the dodgeballs as hard as they could at these young kids. But evolution must have precluded them the extra brain cells needed for higher thinking. My son gets hit square in the face by one of these balls flying at high speed. Any normal person, especially an employee that is supervising the said activity, would immediately stop this. Nope. Two of them just continue to stand there like zombies. Before I can intervene my son is hit in the mouth by another ball whipped by one of these irresponsible parents. At this point I run out onto the turf and get in between the children and the adults to stop the 'game' because it's very clear these employees could care less about the safety of these young children. I stand right in front of the one employee that watches my son get hit twice and say to her, "you weren't going to stop this at any time?", "Just let these kids continue to get hurt?". Again, a zombie. Of course none of these people had name tags on so I can't actually inform management about who they are. But if you're reading this and want further information, I did take note of their appearance and can describe to you what they looked like. After the fact, I'm told it cost $800 for this with $50 add-ons for "dodgeball" and "tug of war" each. I absolutely would recommend you spend your almost 1000 dollars somewhere else. Zero stars would me more appropriate.

My first daughter had a relatively positive experience when she was in elementary school and is doing well in the high school currently. However, my youngest has had a very negative experience with one teacher in particular: Mr. Yerrington. She had him last year and he was horribly abrasive, rude, and discouraging toward her exploration of her education. She has struggled with self esteem issues with both her ability to speak spanish and engagement in the classroom since. We tried to talk to Moravian about it, but they brushed it off, as they do most things. Be aware of this when selecting MA as your childs future school.

The strength of this…read moreschool is the teachers and three strong administrators, the backbone of MA: the head of the Lower School[preK-5], head of Middle School[ grades 6-8] and The head of the Upper School [grades 9-12]. This school sets a foundation that allows its students to transition easily into highly selective colleges and universities. A higher percentage of students get accepted into highly selective schools versus any counterpart high school in the area. This is also due to MA's college counselor who does a tremendous job matching a student's profile with the right college. Study habits are honed in MA's middle schoool and further tuned in Upper School. MA has very strong math and science teachers. Language and other non-math/science instructors were also very good. I do not recall any unflattering comments about any educator in the school regarding subject matter. All kids complain about something, but never got any negative feedback on educator competence. Also, theatre and performing arts are featured with showcase events that reveal talents of students, a tribute to MA staff, students, and those who organize these events. Other aspects: -Some MA parents can get a bit tiresome. Imagine the NY Times Weekend Style section, or the social pages showing adults mugging for photos at some self-serving fundraiser. Now conjur up in your mind a very low-end junior varsity version of that--think of a Saturday Night Live skit. -MA has turned out its share of athletes that go on to play in D1 programs in college, mostly field hockey players over the past 10 years. However, MA sports could be supported a little better financially, and with encouraged attendance. MA's athletic director--who did a great job--retired. Hopefully the new AD will get more support from the school and sports won't be de-emphasized. All in all, I could not have asked for a better educational outcome for my daughter.

My kids have been participating in these summer camps the last 2 summers (2021-2022) with zero issues. Winter of this year (2023) the emails start rolling in about signing up this and that. Great! You sign up early and get a discount for multiple children and multiple camps. Right on their website, "For Multi Camp and Team Discounts | Contact us today!", which I've done the prior 2 years with no issue. Feb 16: my first email to him, "I'm signing up my 2 children for multiple soccer camps, again. Can I please have a discount code? Thank you." No response. 2 days later: "Hi, I am enrolling my kids in multiple camps. The website said to email for a discount code." No response. Feb 20: I use their contact us form on the website to try and get a response. No response. Feb 22: I use their 'chat' feature on the website, "Hi, I've sent 3 emails and 1 contact us from your website with no reply. I'm trying to sign up my 2 children for 2 of your camps. The website says to contact for multi-camp discount. Thank you." No response. All the while, I'm getting weekly almost daily emails about "You've been invited to pay this $$$ amount for a one night class 'Ballers class' 'finishing class' 'total skills class' on XX day in the coming week". But I can't get a single response to ANY of my messages? That brings us to today, May 16, 2023. I had all but forgotten about this and receive an email from Matt, "I am going through our old messages but I do not think our web chat messages made it to you in reply to Summer Camps for the kids. If you are still looking to add any additional camps, I would be happy to assist with a multi camp discount." Three months later...for camps that start in under a month. We've already made plans as ANY and ALL other camps require months booking in advance and sell out almost instantly. Why else would I be trying so hard to get ahold of you? You had at least THREE ways to respond to me. One of which you JUST DID SO ON! But let's blame it on your 'chat' feature not working on the website. Come on. Come to find out this is now the new norm for this individual per other parents. Life happens but if you need help with your business, you should get it. If you can't respond to messages that will make you money, you should find someone that will. If your website doesn't work correctly...ya know...fix it. Just disappointed.
