Note If you have a long trailer the spot might be ok but some spots have electrical boxes close by making it almost impossible to get into the spot. There are many things to do such as campfire shows - tip bring your own stuff or pay disney prices for their kits. There are some nice pools, parks, tennis courts, water show at night. Get the golf cart - we didn't the first day and realized we needed to. Bring stuff to decorate your rented cart or campsite. There are some small souvenir stores- but beware they are definitely disney prices for water/ice cream bars. Overall the campsite was big and had a lot of shade. We will definitely be back - the rental cabins look nice!

That site had large pine tree right over parking area, large pines cones fell cones fell on my rv roof and cracked skylight. Called office, was moved to third site. This site was ok. First evening went to take shower at bathhouse . No heat in men and woman's bathrooms. And only one toilet working in men's room. Called office. Next day no heat in bathrooms. Called office again. Bathroom temperature was 43 degrees. Third day decided to checkout. Office never offered for me to move to a loop that bathroom heat and toilet was working. Never offered a discount for my inconvenience. They didn't have any problem charging me $170.00 for this kind of crap. Have been coming here for 15 years, but will never come here again. Management sucks!

What a great experience! We spent two weeks in an RV from Meacham's and it was a blast!…read more By booking in advance and paying in full, there was a substantial discount. And, due to the pandemic, the owner (Andrew Meacham) gave us a better cancellation policy than normal. When we first arrived after a day in the park, everything was set up. The camper was clean - very clean. (Andrew even assisted in contacting Fort Wilderness to change our space to one we had requested and didn't receive). We brought many items that were supplied - so don't pack towels, toilet paper, paper towels - these are all provided. There were also coffee filters, but I'm not sure if these are always supplied. I would highly recommend getting a camper with an outside kitchen - we used ours extensively. Even on days when using the Disney grill having the kitchen made it easier to store paper towels, plates, utensils and food. Next time we'll probably go for the deluxe camper. Meacham's length of stay Golf Cart deal is well worth it too. (We also rented a fire pit, but didn't really use it). We had some minor issues over the course of two weeks which Andrew promptly addressed. As for the campsites, I'd recommend a Premium site over a Preferred as the site is bigger and there is more privacy. Staying in an RV saves A LOT of $$ on food. We started our trip at POP Century and might have spent more on eating out in two days there than we did at two weeks in the camper. We cooked most of our meals, or prepared meals to bring to the parks. Fort Wilderness has a lot to offer. We visit Disney yearly and usually spend a day or two there. Having two full weeks really added to the enjoyment. Biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing (we brought our own rods), swimming, horseback riding and more. Some activities that we've done in the past were not available due to the pandemic (motor boat rentals, the campfire program, wagon rides), but there's still lots to do. We did notice a significant increase in occupancy on weekends with many locals visiting. This did put a strain on the pools. Pools were nearly empty midweek. I highly recommend a stay in an RV at Fort Wilderness - and Meacham's is the way to go!

The first response regarding the price was just giving me the same price so I questioned what is the get best price button? I was told by Kevin that would be $500 off. I asked very detailed and specific questions regarding final out the door, price terms and interest rate. He only responded with the out the door price of the RV so I didn't respond. Then I started receiving text messages from Devon asking if I wanted to move forward. Again, I said I needed to know the terms so I could decide how I wanted to finance it. Devon only quoted me a monthly payment of $329-$359. I didn't respond. Again, I was asked if I wanted to move forward with the purchase. So again, I asked what is the interest rate in term? Devon responds with 8.9% for 180 months.!!! I respond with the figures and that none of that math adds up. Then this morning the sales manager James Spallino starts interjecting in the text thread and is extremely rude. Calling me out like he's smarter than me talking about something totally different. Very unprofessional and totally uncalled for. There are thousands upon thousands of RVs for sale. You would think as a sales manager, the goal would be to get one sold. Instead of trying to be little or intimidate somebody into buying, his role should be high-level customer service with the ability to understand and communicate financing options and negotiate the best deal for the customer. The one portion of the text chain below should give a good idea

They're a locally owned business that offers both for purchase and rentable options. We opted for the coachmen leprechaun rv that slept 5 of us very comfortably. The process was smooth, educational and comparably priced to others out there. The rv was clean, in good condition and ready to go. Pick up takes about 30 minutes due to instructions and ensuring all rules are known. The drop off took 1 min. Park, drop the keys and go. We'll be back!
