While there we also asked for the MH to be waxed. Fast forward to pick up day. We paid, had the mh brought out and did an inspection of the wash/wax. Since it rains so often here I was expecting water spots everywhere but what I saw was no evidence of washing nor waxing. I went back inside to question the service dept. Jesse immediately brought someone from the detail staff who not only owned up to the fact that they had made a mistake but apologized! I completely understand - stuff happens; sometimes things fall thru the cracks. No one is perfect. But to have CW be so gracious, admit they made a mistake, apologize and refund our money was a breath of fresh air. I would recommend their service dept!

It was on shells rather than pavers. We didn't have a picnic table at our site. I've never been to a camp resort that didn't provide picnic tables at the sites. The pool was being renovated, which was not indicated on their website. We visited during spring break, so this is a terrible time to renovate the pool. The comfort station by our site did not have benches or hooks in the showers for your toiletries. There was construction being done near the entrance, and there weren't any signs providing a detour to get in. The clubhouse seems like it's a cleared out church space, full of tables and nothing else. The traffic in this area is horrible, but it is close to the theme park area. The good: the landscaping that is done is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A picnic table was brought out after we complained. (I'm just surprised they're not already on the sites. ) The bathrooms are cleaned. The dog park, although small, is a great amenity for dog owners. There are several dog waste stations. They have planned monthly activities. It's doubtful we'll return to this one unless they make significant changes.

The latest instance was during this past week when hurricane Milton was threatening to be the worst hurricane to ever hit Florida. Many residents, including me, were outside preparing their trailers and other property for the storm when Dave rode up to my site on his golf cart and immediately started yelling at me. All Because I was parked on the grass and apparently "it's against the rules" only for me and my family though. His mannerisms were aggressive and he was extremely belligerent. Noticing the aggression from Dave from across the street, a short-term visitor of the park walked over to try to settle things down. Dave immediately turned his aggression toward him, and upon realizing he was not going to be able to bully this person, he immediately got in his golf cart and drove away. This behavior has gone on for months with this manager targeting me with so-called rule violations for things that other tenants are not being held to - so, essentially discrimination coupled with months of harassment. Keep in mind that in this particular instance there was a giant hurricane coming - which ended up causing lots of damage throughout the RV park - and instead of working to prepare the park for it, Dave was out driving around looking for violations and yelling at people. I'd like to add that myself and another spent our time going through the park flipping picnic tables and/or strapping them down to help prepare the park for high winds. If you like getting yelled at and harassed, this RV park is right for you. Me and my family are loved throughout the community and have made friends with just about everyone... and in doing so we have yet to hear anything positive about Dave. Most if not all the residents dislike him and complain about his lack of respect and tendency to "be in charge" We have complained about this manager for months, and so have others. I found Orlando Lakefront Tiny House and RV Park online and started following them on social media. They offer 12 tiny homes for rent and also have lot rentals for those who have turned tiny living into their everyday norm. We decided on "The Swan." Having two little kids I wanted to make sure I had as many comforts from home as I could. However, there is literally a tiny house to suits all needs. The Swan has two lofts with queens beds, a pull out couch, full kitchen with a microwave, stovetop, farm style sink, pots and pans for use, and utensils for those who need them. Lots of counter space which was nice. A TV and a fireplace. Full bathroom with a regular size toilet and shower. The tiny house itself is one of their biggest at 400 sqft. They have stairs which was great for my little ones. When we first arrived we were just so excited and found the tiny house to be super clean which I appreciated given the times. It felt spacious. The lofts served their purpose and was very exciting for my little ones. We had plenty of space for our things but knowing we were going tiny, I packed accordingly (packing cubes are the way to go). The sofa that doubled as a pull out bed sat all four of comfortably when we settled down to watch movies at night. The park offers free use of their fire pit, canoes, corn hole, volleyball net, and fishing poles. The majority of the tiny homes face the lake so it's a really nice view to wake up too. The community Itself is quiet our kids rode their scooters, played corn hole and enjoyed sitting out by the dock. If you're looking for a nice quiet trip to relax, it definitely met that need. At night we sat by the fire and enjoyed s'mores. Now remember it is communal so all guest are welcome to come and enjoy the fire. They don't provide the firewood so keep that in mind. You will need to bring or purchase your own. Overall we had a really nice stay and look forward to coming back and trying out some of their other tiny homes. Now, here's the reasons for the 4 stars. For one, it might be silly, but I'm super bummed that they don't recycle. There's one big trash can and no rules or procedures for recycling. They also offer free use of their fishing poles you just need to bring your bait, however, all the poles were either broken or all tangled up. I didn't prep and bring any because I figured, oh they have, we'll use the ones there. My daughter was bummed that she couldn't fish. So I would suggest you bring your own. The fire pit is a great spot to hang out once the sun goes down but during the day unless your sunbathing, there's really no where to just sit by the lake and relax. It's way too hot. The tiny house although super modern and nice, had some cracks in the stairs that needed to be fixed. The pillows were paper thin and extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. The stools were loose and wobbly, the front door was difficult to open and would get stuck due to the deck. The railing on the deck was wobbly and some tiles needed fixing. Things that need to be kept in mind with traveling with kids and could potentially be dangerous. As stated above, these were minor things and won't prevent us from coming back. The experience was fun and totally worth it. Our kids had fun and we enjoyed the quiet. Looking forward to trying out some of their other homes.

Citrus Valley is a unique property…read more This is an all-ages, gated community located in the Clermont / Orlando area just off of route 27. Convenient location to all of the Orlando attractions. All of the lots are deeded and owned by the residents. There is no rental office. You can reach out to the lot owners directly that are renting their spots. We stayed on lot 135, it was super clean and featured a large shed and oversized gazebo. The landscaping was very nice. Our lot rental included water, sewer, cable and wifi. The property owner was super accommodating and did everything to make sure that we had a pleasant stay. The residents at Citrus Valley make this place very special. Everyone we met was really friendly. We were sorry to leave and we are already thinking about when we would like to return on our next trip to the Orlando area.
