I decided to upgrade to the patio site and was not disappointed. Our spot was to the back of the campground providing us space and the "quiet" we've been searching for. Loved our site which had everything we needed - swing, grill, table & chairs plus a picnic table. Great walking area for people & dogs. Plus 2 dog parks and plenty of pet waste bag areas. Pool and spa area were gorgeous and easy to walk to. Only negative was the short hours during our stay (10-2.) Bonus - free WIFI works!!! Will definitely keep this KOA on our favorite visit list. Check in was quicker than any hotel... The friendliness was greater than expected... The details for our stay were exact and precise... We went directly to our site for which the map was a great help... We hooked up and everything worked perfectly except the water heater on our new RV for which a neighbor was more than willing to assist us almost immediately... Upon getting it working, everything went perfectly the whole time we were there... The days were spent out and about seeing the sites of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupr... The nights were very quiet and uneventful... Our neighbors were very quiet & respectful towards each other... The campgrounds were spacious and very clean... The restaurants in the area were almost non existent and you would have to travel nearly 20 - 30 minutes to find any good ones... This however is NOT the fault of KOA... Our Next Visit to Quebec we WILL be coming back to the same campgrounds as this was a perfect visit for us... We enjoyed our visit completely & would recommend this KOA to everyone... people complain about internet & tv issues... if this is what you want - then you do not want to go camping - you can get this at home... we had no issues as we did not go there for TV & Internet... On our way from Maine to Ontario we decided to drive through Quebec instead of heading through VT…read more I don't speak French and I was completely ignorant of the fact that most people in Quebec don't speak English. I wish I had taken the time to learn some of the language before I drove into their country. That said the people in Quebec were unfailingly kind. Anyway, this is a RV park across the river from Quebec city. It is a quick drive to the Pont de Quebec bridge and from there you can pass to Quebec city in about 20 minutes (we opted to take the ferry but more on that later.) There are quite a few sites on the property and it seems that they segregate based on the size of the rig. The class a sites are well laid out with a nice concrete pad with little to no shade. The smaller trailer sites are pretty close together but they are nicely treed. The lady who owns the place spoke some english and was very helpful to me she was also incredibly kind to my kids. She really went out of her way to try to communicate and made sure she recommended the best places to eat and things to see. She also advised us not to drive into Quebec city and to take the ferry. Great advice since parking a trailer would have been a huge problem. There is a screened in room with a television and a wifi hotspot. I was able to connect and work for several hours with no problems. I did have wifi at my site but I'm not sure if there is at all of them. They have 2 different networks going so she said if I had a problem with one to try the other one closer to the office. They have two showers per bathroom and 2 washers and 2 dryers in the laundry room. I can't remember what the cost was but I know we had to pay for both the showers and the laundry. This is a great park in a perfect location close to grocery stores, restaurants and even a costco. I'll be back to Quebec city someday and I'll surely stay here again.

The bathroom facilities are clean and well lit, and each campsite is recessed in its own alcove of trees, effectively shielding you from the other sites. The area is LOADED with hiking trails and the mountain biking is over the top - there are some dramatic waterfalls less than a 20 minute drive in either direction, and you're about a 25 minute drive from vieux-Quebec, the old city. I will happily return to this campground!

It is a 2 to 3 minutes drive. 3) Spacious 4) Within 10 minutes drive to town (SAQ, grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations) 5) Sufficient heating in the bedrooms, living, dining and kitchen areas of our unit 6) Depending on your unit, you may have a spectacular mountain view of Mont Sainte-Anne 7) Furniture is in good or repaired and working condition in our unit 8) Sufficient toilet paper 9) The chalet offers skiing deals on http://mont-sainte-anne.com Bad - All are specific to the unit we rented 1) Electric heating is insufficient in basement hallway 2) Entrance heater vent is broken, so the entrance area is cold 3) Shampoo and conditioner provided are useless. Bring your own 4) No kettle. We had to use a pot to boil water 5) Pot lids don't match the pots. All of them. 6) Electrical outlets in the living room of our unit are in the baseboard. A wet mopping can short the circuit. Just be careful and don't get the floor wet. 7) Electrical outlet on the kitchen island looks like it is not professionally wired. 8) Insufficient heating in the basement bathroom 9) One of the two toasters is broken Will we return? We may if there is a skiing deal. We like the proximity to the hill and the town. Other than the heating and electrical outlet issues (item 1, 2, 6, 7, 8), the rest of the bad are more nuisances than significant.

For the price we expected more modern appliances, more up to date decor, better pots, pans, kitchen equipment. This was my second time vacationing here and not once did anyone tell me to do this tour. I decided to book it for my sister's 40th bday as a fun activity to do for 3 hours during the day. I remember when I booked the tour, I looked at the website and thought to myself, this is either gonna be super lame or kind of cool but never did I expect it to blow my mind! Located about a 45 minute bus ride from Downtown QC - we did Unitours which pick you up outside the Frontenac. Easy to find them as their busses are labelled really well. They drive you directly to the hotel, and let you visit for 90 minutes. And that 90 minutes is perfect to see all of the Ice Hotel. There is SO much to look at. There's a cute little coffee shack outside the hotel as well if you want a bite/warm drink. The way the hotel is set up you go into the chapel to start (yes people get married here) and it's truly something else - so pretty and coooold! Definitely bundle up if you have plans to go to this hotel. There are phenomenal sculptures throughout the hotel, the bar was such a highlight too. The drinks are all served in ice blocks that are a fun experience - while they're expensive for a cocktail and very little mixology involved it was still worth it for me. After the bar, you check out all the rooms that people stay in and wow some are actually spectacular and made me want to stay overnight. The ice carvings are beautiful - my favorite room was the whimsical forest one. Just so cool! My second favorite was a wolf room with the northern lights. And how could I not mention the ice slide!! A slide inside the hotel that you can go down on your butt or if you want to go fast, on your feet! I had a blast going down the slide a couple times. This hotel is absolutely a unique experience and we loved our self-guided tour of it. Next time I'm in QC, I'd love to actually stay there and dine at the beautiful ice restaurant too! The Fairmont owns this property so you know it's gonna be a goody. As you leave, they also have a little warm teepee tent with some artisans selling cute stuff, we each got a really lovely pair of beaded earrings. You gotta check this one out, it's so fun!

It is one block from the bus route 800 and 801 which can take you to St. Foy or La Chute Montmorency. The wooden floors are awesome, so much better than old, stained rugs in many hotels of similar price. The bed was comfortable, the TV was fine, once I figured out how to deal with the two remote situation. Front desk staff was helpful when I needed a taxi and when I had general questions about the area. Rooms are cleaned by maids only if you are staying for four days or more, so be aware of that. While not luxurious, the room fits the needs of a traveler well. I will definitely consider staying here again.

The staff at the Unilofts was friendly, helpful and professional. The building is an old one, the rooms have high ceilings and ours was spacious. When I return to the beautiful city of Québec City, I will book a room at the Unilofts for my stay.
