Absolutely terrible experience. We had selected a camper to buy. We were shown the camper several times by several employees. Stated on their website listing for the camper was several options, such as AC. When it had come time to purchase, they informed us that the online listing was wrong and that no AC was to be included. So, we declined this unit. Bear in mind, several days had passed since they had informed us, and they did not remove the AC option from their listing. I have screenshots for proof. Note: even though their website stated that AC was included (it wasn't), they offered to install one at cost to us, not at cost to them, thus wanting to charge us for their lie. Couple more days passed and we decided to purchase without AC. We then asked to test out the heating of the unit, the heating turned out to be broken, they said it could be fixed at cost to us... once again, not at cost to them. Then we asked if the stove could be tested, their answer was "no, we are not going to test the stove. Regardless of their lies and terrible demeanor, we loved the layout and decided to purchase. With employee Michael, we had agreed upon a said CASH amount. No financing was to come into play. This was totally fine and approved. If their phone calls are recorded, then Camping World should refer to the phone call where Michael stated a full cash amount is completely fine, but we had better hurry because someone else is coming at 12PM to purchase. So we entered at 11AM by appointment to purchase. Michael took our ID's and ran them through and copied them, as we were to purchase the camper. We took a seat, and Michael wrote out a contract for financing... earlier on the phone, everyone had come to a full cash agreement. We pointed this out, and Michael left for a few minutes to speak with financial management. Their response was, "we will not have time write out a cash receipt today." Problem with that is, is that we had made an appointment to purchase with cash. So why we were not given the time of our appointment makes no sense to me. So, we were denied our purchase. And that same day, the camper was sold to someone else on our appointment... extremely unsettling and deceptive. We called their number and complained. We received a call back from a male employee, he blamed us as to not signing the financing deal. He literally called us liars when we stated that we had agreed upon a cash amount, he stated that "it was impossible. " I recorded the phone conversation. The whole experience was horrible. I will be sure share all of this over social media- Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc... Why this unit was sold to someone else on our appointment, when we up there with cash in hand, given our ID's, etc, makes no sense at all, therefor it leaves only one reason as to why it was not sold to us: discrimination, this fact too will be shared over social media. Their response to this will be a generic one of "we are sorry. We will make sure this does not happen again. Would you like to come back in take a look at another unit? And my response is this, "no." The unit we desired most was sold to someone else even though came in with a full cash amount. read more

After replacing our battery, the service writer showed me the power cord that Camping World in Denton installed to power the Trailer brake and lights. Shockingly, the cable had melted through the battery tray, and most of the wire insulation had melted off. The service writer pointed out that they should have installed a fuse or fuseable link there but did not, which is absolutely unacceptable. When my wife attempted to install the wireless trailer brake, she torched two at $300 a pop, raising serious safety concerns. Thank you so much, Camping World Denton, for taking such good care of my wife. You all should be ashamed of yourselves; however, I do not think you have the depth of character. Your actions have caused financial loss and put my wife's safety at risk. This is unacceptable. Note the last four pics I added; again, they speak for themselves. read more

If you want to have to constantly call a service department daily and weekly to see what is wrong with your rv and then again to find out how much to fix it all. Then this is the place to take it. In total it took 3 months to find out what was wrong and price. Then upon them moving it to start working on it brakes locked up. Wouldn't fix on it and wouldn't let our mechanic fix brakes within hours so camping world could start servicing it. Had to pay 750 for tow on top of 300 for point inspection. No discount or help. And need I mention brakes were fine when they inspected it and moved it. Stay away from camping world denton. Find a mom and pop shop. read more

Shortly after the purchase of our 2014 Winnebago Fuse 23a, we started having trouble with the refrigerator. Several attempts were undertaken to keep the unit running consistently however to no avail. We heard that Winnebago changed the refrigerator in 2019. We contacted Camping World and had them install the newer style refrigerator in our unit. I fit like a glove and looked as if it came that way. Just returned from our first outing in near 100 degree weather and the unit worked perfectly. Great experience with service department! On the road from Florida to Vegas we had problems with our motor home. We were able to make an appointment for the day after we called but were told to bring it in right away and they would try to get a jump start on it. This is a smaller Camping World than most, but they have all the major items. I had some work done on my RV at the Camping World in CA and was worried about how they would handle the warranty work in Denton. Things could not have went better. The service guy was on top of it and the lady inside helping on locating the original work order. They estimated 3 days for repair and just took 1 day. read more
