May's RV is the best place to buy propane, they have a good parts department and friendly people working there.

When there was a problem with what Forest River advertised and what they actually put on the unit, Lisa, the manager made it right.

My car sat there for five days with absolutely no communication with me as to what was wrong. The did not listen to my issues when I brought it to them. It wouldn't have been half as frustrating if I could have been communicated with. I understand that my service person ended up getting sick, but there was no follow up from anyone else until I contacted the service manager. After five days, I did have it towed from there to a reputable service company who diagnosed the problem quickly (which Ford was not willing to do) and had it repaired in 3 days. I will not be using Five Star Ford of Lewisville service and would not recommend them to anyone else.

That was fine until it was time to actually do the work. You see Zack told my daughter that it was her battery and NOT the TCM even though she had documentation showing the codes for the TCM. Zack told my daughter that he didn't see them codes (after her engine light was OFF). The warranty expired 06/30/25 and Zack told her she'll have to pay out of pocket for the replacement EVEN THOUGH NORTH RICHLAND HILLS sent her there for the replacement. I called Zack and he told me "That's above my pay grade". It's hilarious how they talk to customers.

We came in to process a return, and her attitude made it very clear that she did not want to help us. To be fair, the other clerk working at the time was very helpful and polite. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but he was the only one providing actual customer service during our visit. After we received our store credit, we continued shopping because we intended to buy more parts. Amanda went up to Tassie and politely asked if, when she had a moment and wasn't busy, she could help look up a part number for a control arm for her Mercedes under a commercial account. Tassie responded by asking, "Is it your commercial account? Are you the owner?" Amanda answered yes and confirmed she had the PIN. After that, Tassie simply looked back down at what she was doing and refused to acknowledge us or help any further. That kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone who appears to be in a leadership position. When customers politely ask for help and are ready to spend money, ignoring them is not okay. I shop at this location regularly and spend money here often, which is why this experience was so frustrating. Management seriously needs to address how customers are being treated at this store.

Had to call Roadside Assistance to jump it so I could get to O'Reilly's Auto Parts for a new battery before they closed. They said it was the alternator not the battery. Contacted DFW Mobile Repair and Hamm responded immediately with a price quote to fix it. Set up the appointment for mid-afternoon the next day, July 5th (Sunday, on a holiday weekend). Hamm was certainly knowledgeable, and after testing, said it was BOTH the battery and alternator. He replaced the alternator (which he had brought, having had my prior information as to car and model) and then drove to O'Reilly's nearby for a replacement battery which he then installed. In short, Hamm was responsive, capable, courteous and efficient. DFW saved the day (although I lost most of the holiday weekend with the problem!). Pricing wasn't cheap but was competitive I'd say. Give DFW a shot. Their customer service and mechanical work was outstanding. They also have a shop in addition to their mobile repair service. I will certainly consider them for all my future work! I ended up trying to purchase it in store 3 more times but they said something was wrong with their computers that day. Because of that, I was unable to get the discounted online price (the whole reason I even purchased it). I went around to get the generator put in my car. Without even trying, 3 workers stood there and stared at my car and said there was no way it would fit in my car. So I had to go around the corner and rent a U-Haul truck for the pickup. Just for the generator to actually be able to fit in my personal car! So the U-Haul was a waste. I ended up needing to return the unopened generator a week later, and I got the craziest run around from the staff. I attempted to return it, but no one knew how to process the return, even though I'd offered to get the customer service rep I'd spoken to earlier on the phone to provide them with clear instructions. They declined. So I brought the generator back to the store today and finally was able to return it. It just felt like the manager, Ryan, was looking to nitpick for reasons to not accept the return but as I mentioned it's completely unused and boxed. His attitude was very uncalled for. I will honestly truly never visit this location again and I probably won't shop at AAP because this was just too difficult of a process.

I feel like it was racism and they do not give me any other way to do it but the only option is to buy another one even if the part has been wrong. The manager was not helpful at all and very racist. He would only change the part if I had a residence ID and if I wanted to, he would just say I wanted to buy another one without a refund.

Chance and his trainee Brian greeted me with openess and support with what I was looking for. Chance listened to my needs and wants and quickly combed through their inventory and we came across my New Northern Spirit Coachman! It is perfect for my situation and had all of the upgrades and the build was way better than most other brands I had looked at. Chance did a great job getting me the specs and information to make sure it was the right fit for my truck and was able to quickly answer my concerns. We then got to the not so fun part, negotiations. I had a budget and this unit was well above it, but Chance introduced me to Sydney, the sales manager. Sydney took the time to get to know my situation as well as getting to know me. I felt like both of them cared about what was important to me and we came to a good price that was fair and we made sure I had all of the accessories and hitch to make sure my RV expreience was setup for sucess versus headaches when you are out in nature with no resources. After we closed on the sales price and signed the deal, the service team headed by Steven was another positive experinece. Steven with his NY accent, which I loved, walked me through all of the ins and outs of the new rig. He gave me the run down of storing and winterizing the rig as well as tips and tricks to help make my experince setup for success. I did have an issue with the installation of my washer dryer combo but Nick, the owner, steped up and made it right by giving me some consessions and that made the issue feel less negative. Overall buying any RV or vehicle is going to be a long and stressfull process but the team at Camping World did a great job making my process easy and did it was class and I felt like part of the family. Chance was great and even offered to stay late so I could see some RV's up close and personal. He'd only been there 3 weeks, but he had a great attitude and desire to help. He gets 5 stars and I'd work with him, if only he'd go to work for a reputable company... I told him as much once everything came to light. Things were going so well until we sat down to talk numbers. I had done a little research in advance so when they tried to pitch me on paying them $70k for a $40k camper I immediately had red flags go up, but wanted to give them a chance to make a reasonable offer, they didn't. They included all kinds of outrageous fees like $1500 for a "1 hour walk-thru of my 2025 brand new camper including them fixing anything that's in disrepair." I did question this at the time. "That makes no sense. Why would I need to pay to fix anything on a BRAND NEW camper? As far as the technician walking me through... I'm happy to pay $150 for that 1 hour service, but not $1500." The slick young sales manager in his Gucci belt doubled down and said it was a thorough walk through... These guys are smoking crack in my opinion. They could have had a client for years and sold me multiple units. Instead they showed me their true colors before we ever got out of the starting blocks and I called them out. I will NEVER do business with them or give them another shot at my business. More so, as I told them, I will tell everyone I can to avoid them like the plague. I'm not alone as there's apparently entire Facebook groups devoted to how bad Camping World is to their customers.
