Our RV was in the shop since January. We had been calling and drove in to get updates. We got different answers, didn't get a call back or were sent home home because the person who knows was not there. We wanted our RV back in May but they said there is no way to get it out from the lot. My husband stayed most of the day in the sun to make sure he can get it home in June. The person who helped him hook up the Jeep lost our safety pins so my husband drove more than one hour trip in terror. He is 67. Nothing was done. The batteries were dead. The RV got rust. It takes two hours to/from this location. The weather in June is in high 80s. They lied and let my husband going home unsafely. read more

The staff in the sales area and the store area are super friendly and helpful. The folks that actually work on your camper are wonderful and do a great job. Hands down though I've never been more frustrated with the front end of the service department anywhere else as much as I am at Camping World of Gulf Breeze. No matter how many times you tell them the things that are wrong with your camper they will not address it all and will pretend like it wasn't told to them. No matter whether you speak with them in person, call them, or email. One of the primary issues we had with our brand new camper we bought from them was the LED light strip. Each time we brought it in for other issues we would tell them about the issue with the light strip. It would be written down on their service paper and still they would claim they had no clue even after we told them in person, on the phone, and even sent emails with pictures. They have a high turnover rate in their service advisor area which doesn't help. Today even we were trying to schedule an appointment to as our part for the LED strip had finally came in. My wife left her cell phone number twice as we weren't home on the service advisors voicemail and both times he called our house phone instead after twice being left my wife's cell phone number. Getting the correct service and receiving communication from a dealer shouldn't be so hard. If I had night used or something else I could maybe see it, but we bought from these guys and I feel like we mean nothing to them as a customer. Again, the folks in the store side are fantastic as well as the actual folks who work on your RV. It just the front end of the service department. read more

We have actually bought from Camping World of Gulf Breeze twice and are huge fans! The first was in 2015, we went to the dealership several times found a Jayco that we absolutely loved! Due to my busy travel schedule we were able to complete everything, but delivery via email and phone. This year we decided that we wanted to step up to a class C and after a lot of research on RV trader and other sites we found the perfect Class C, a Thor 24F. We reached out to the GM of Camping World of Gulf Breeze who immediately sent me a Thor custom order form for the Thor Chateau 24F since they did not have one in stock. Jeff stated that we could go ahead and customize and order, but would not be obligated to purchase if we did not like the unit after it arrived. We are very excited that after months of anticipation our 24F has arrived and we absolutely love it! We completed the paperwork for our Chateau 24F on Friday and will be taking delivery this afternoon. We are very proud that at the end of the day we will continue to make Camping World of Gulf Breeze our servicing dealer! Make sure you do your research on the preowned unit because they certainly DO NOT!!! They DO NOT test drive the units they sell on consignment. They DO NOT clean until sold. Corporate is of NO help and asks you the question...."WHAT DID YOU THINK YOU WERE GETTING BY BUYING A USED RV?" There are no mechanics there...they have to call in the professionals to assess. We purchased our first RV did the initial walk thru and it was absolutely filthy full of dog hair I'm talking handfuls. I pointed it out and was told it would be cleaned up, the spare tire on the back was not put on properly and was told it would be fixed before we left and the thermostat was acting funny and again was told it would be replaced .... Then they tell us we need a different hitch on the truck they quote us the price we wait 5 hours with 3 kids get it installed and then we get the oh I'm sorry we forgot to add on the installation fee... SO we get thru the day from hell hit i10 and guess what its down pouring and there goes the tire completely flew off... We get home open the thing up the thermostat was not replaced, dog hair was still sitting there and now I'm livid.... I call Monday morning got an apology and was told we will get it fixed .... I have been calling and emailing service for exactly 1 month today and no response from a soul... I know their reading my emails because I got read receipts.... All I can say is steer clear of this place it is a joke.... If they tell you their going to do something check their work do not take their word for it... I purchased my RV from them in June of 2019, I added the extended service warranty. In May of 2020 my RV caught on fire and was a total loss. I filed a claim with my Insurance and my Gap company. I also contacted Jeremy about canceling my extended warranty and getting a refund to be paid to the bank. Its now September and no refund, Jeremy gave me the run around blaming Covid for the delay. Now he will not even email back. I am still making payments on a RV that was a complete loss and if I had my refund on my warranty I would be done with this. Loved my sales person but now I will never buy another RV from them, which is sad because I need another one. read more

I will keep this as brief and specific as possible. Beware if you purchase a used RV. Purchased our first motorhome here. We paid $1700 for some service delivery inspection. We blew 3 tires on our first trip. I found and have documentation that the one tire left on the back of the RV was 10 years old. I didn't even know there were service dates on tires. We were also told the RV had a fiberglass roof when we asked why the roof looked dirty. We asked three times about this and even upon the pick up of the RV we were told it had a fiberglass roof and just needed to be cleaned and basically sealed with a simple paint sealant. Turns out the roof is rubber and shot. $3600 and we just purchased this RV. ***Before someone from Gander replies as if they didn't know about that and would love to help, please know that I gave them ample opportunity to do the right thing. At the end of June, 2020 we purchased a used 2019 Jayco Hummingbird 17RK and had a good purchase experience at Gander RV of Gulf Breeze. We knew the kind of unit we were looking for and handled most of the deal via email/text. The salesperson Charles Abraham was always quick to respond to any email/text and when we picked up the unit he was there the whole time to help get hooked up and answered all our questions we had. Excellent service there. Lisa handled the paperwork efficiently and we were on our way. Lastly, compared to a couple other dealers we tried to work with (in the local area) we were very impressed with Gander RV here. read more

On June 14th our RV was scheduled for its yearly maintenance, they had it 2 days and the 22 point inspection was not done due to no report given. I dealt with Melanie D, the service writer that kept stringing me a long with no answers of why we had weather stripping that needed to be replaced once we got the RV back and was not aware of replacement needed. Melanie just stated that the technician that "inspected" the unit no longer worked there. I even sent pictures. I spoke to our salesman Bill P. yet said that the Manager Grant would be contacting us. I never heard from Grant, for he kept passing my issue along to someone else. Melanie gave me the phone number to Gander (an AIR Conditioning company) instead of the RV Company. Instead of speaking to Grant the General Manager, I spoke to George the operation manager which said that they could replace the stripping for $275, it would take 4 hours to replace the stripping on 2 slide outs and that he would take off the $139 an hour labor fee. Yet, here is the point, We took it in for maintenance, They failed to do the 22 point inspection that was required, had the camper for 2 days, if we would've known that it needed to be replaced we would've had them replace it when they had the camper. However, the run around and all the time, phone calls I have put into this , it Could have been an easy fix if they could own up to customer service. Therefore I do NOT recommend Gander RV in Gulf Breeze, FL and the extended warranties that we purchased isnt worth it, for it doesn't cover much at all, so don't waist your money or time on this place! read more

We paid cash for an RV December 18th. We went out of town for 2 weeks. The compressor went out. And we had a blowout coming home. Needless to say, we took it in and now its June 15th. They still have it. Wont return calls or the person we need is always unavailable. I am to the point of getting an attorney involved. I would never send anyone there for an rv or repair. read more

Just bought a new travel trailer from camping world I do have a warning about the outside and inside protection coating that they sell for $2000 the finance man who sold it said that it covered the whole trailer inside and out and when we did our final inspection the person who did the walk-through with us said that the protective coating was not apply to the roof and that we would have to reapply a protective coating once a year so the warning is that when he sold it he said I wouldn't have to put a slipcover or nothing over the top to protect the roof because the protective coating would do that and it doesn't. read more

The service department at the Gulf Breeze, FL location is a complete joke. We have had nothing but issues from the start. We bought our brand new 2021 MALLARD M33 in September 2020. We were given a date of delivery, so we arranged to take off work; the day came and went with no notice of the camper coming in. We had to contact them multiple times. We missed several days of work because of the lack of communication. The day finally came to pick up the camper; however, someone else's name was on the camper. That had to be figured out. We were told that we could have dark wood interior. Nope, it was gray, we were told that the sales person didn't know because she had only been there a year. We were never notified. We were given a gift card for our troubles. There were several issues that needed to be fixed at the time of the walk through. The counter by the stove needs to be replaced, it was warped and there were a few cosmetic issues. We were told to take it out and camp while they waited for the parts. We took the camper home. Had more issues , the trim around the door keept coming off (inside). the front door did not close properly, The front of the trailer leaked into the master bedroom and under the mattress, the labeling for the hoses are incorrect (the water hook up was actually the clean out and visa versa ( my poor father-in -law got raw sewage on him when he was helping us set up for the first time). At the end of November we had to call and send emails and inquire about when we would be getting the original issues fixed. We were told the parts had just come in that Saturday. It is amazing they just came in when I started to complain. Once again no communication! January, we finally got it in for the initial repairs (4 months later). When dropping it off, we asked if it would be done by a certain time because we had trip plans made and reservations paid for. We were assured it would be ready. Nope! I had called the day it was supposed to be done to make sure we could pick it up, and after being given the run around, we were told no, and that it would be ready the next day because they had to clean it up. We lost our reservation and deposit for our trip...definitely not happy! Got it back, still leaked, we fixed it ourselves. The outside kitchen pull out counter had writing on it that we had to scrub off, and things were not fixed that were supposed to be. Additional items that were supposed to be ordered that we found at pick up were labels for the tanks, a new handle, and a queen size mattress. We called a couple of weeks later to see when to expect these items, after multiple calls from us, once again no communication. We found out the labels were in and that they needed more pictures ( the service guy did not take the ones needed for the warranty), and we were again not notified that these were needed. Had we not called, we would still be waiting. Here we are a month later and having to call again!!! Asking about the handle, they have it. We asked about the mattress, yep it's in. We were told they called us multiple times, no call was received, and no messages left in voicemail. We asked to be sure they be had the right number and it was. We asked if we could come in on a Sunday to pick up the mattress and other things and they transferred us multiple times, and then sent my husband to voicemail. We stopped in and saw them in person, needless to say they had someone there to meet us. Today is Sunday, and we met with a gentleman to pick up the ever mysterious parts that we have been waiting for, guess what, the mattress was right, but the handle was wrong ( not even a support handle, it was legs for a table) , and they couldn't find our labels ( that have been there for a while)! This is the worst experience ever. We purchased a new trailer because we did not want these issues. We will never recommend Gander to anyone and we will tell them about our experiences. read more

We always enjoy shopping at various Camping World locations, but I wouldn't waste my time with this location. There is no parking for patrons because upper manager has all of the parking spaces reserved. A very rude man told my dad that he was blocking the RV parking, but offered no other place to park. No wonder three employees were just standing outside talking; you can't sell anything without parking for your customers. Do yourselves a favor and pass by the Gulf Breeze Camping World location and save yourself the frustration. read more

We bought our camper from Camping World thinking we would get good service at any CW service center in the US, boy were we wrong. It took 5 weeks for the Biloxi CW service to fix all the little things wrong when it was new. Now the Gulf Breeze CW service department has had our camper for over three weeks for warranty issues and after numerous excuses, they have not even looked at. I will never buy from Camping World again, the smaller local dealers take much better care of their customers. CW was very very helpful until signed the sales paperwork. read more

Fellow consumers I advise you to walk away. The sales reps at Camping World Gulf Breeze are friendly and then you agree to purchase the camper, sign the needed paperwork, the camper is defective, and the nightmare begins. Break down, we bought a new 2017 camper in June of 2018,went on vacation in August, returned the camper to our home state Camping World, found out why the master fuse kept blowing because of corrosion somewhere we couldn't see, the slide-out would stick because of water damage under the floor, serviced turned it into Jayco, Jayco denied the warranty stating "This would fall under lot maintenance. before being sold" (email from Jayco on 09/13/18). We will take some blame for trusting them, not crawling under the camper and scratching the wood, or bringing an electrician with me for the inspection. This is what Gulf Breeze was willing to do, have us drive back across the country so they could fix the problems, have us trade in for a camper that we didn't choose with an additional 6,488.00 (sounds like extortion), and basically pretend they are doing something. They have not given our money back stating that they can't do that and hiding behind seven pages of legalese you sign when purchasing the camper and basically not taking responsibility for selling a defective camper, which I might add they will probably turn into insurance. I took my camper in to these guys 3 weeks ago regarding a warranty repair. The happily took it and promised to get back with me as soon as they knew anything. Two weeks later, I still hadn't heard anything. Repeated messages left on voicemail went unanswered. I finally went by the place and they gave me back my camper with the excuse that they had filed the warranty issue a week prior. I still need the service done, and have once again left voicemails that go unanswered. Not a great way to treat customers. read more

We took our 5th wheel in for a repair. We are picking it up today, They had our 5th wheel for 5 weeks and had never finished the dignostics. We knew what was wrong going in- a faulty motor. We know that they never touched the camper because the batteries were dead. The sevice department doesn't understand what service is. We will NEVER go back to this Camping World. All they have in the service department is EXCUSES. Stay away from their service or lack of service department. read more

Very dissatisfied!!! We put our motor home up for consignment with them. First they lost our file, then they wouldn't return phone calls, when I finally got to talk to someone she was rude! Then since our legal consignment period was over, I told the new consignment manager that we would be in town in 2 days and were coming to get our motor home. Two days later first thing in the morning I called and said we were on our way. She informed me they had sold the unit. After I had just told her we were coming to get it. To make matters worse a month later and we still haven't received our check from them. A year ago we bought from them and paid them to install our In Motion satellite system. It never worked, the installation team made a huge mess, and they never even tried it with the cable box we provided that my husband had showed them. The techs response, "you didn't leave a cable box." My husband pointed to the table (next to the TV) and said its right there, same place it was when I dropped it off and showed you where it was. This location is unorganized, unprofessional, and they are crooks! read more

Guess what, took it camping after that and now a water leak I had to fix a long with all the other repairs. I went to camping world gulf breeze for the 1st time today, I actually went twice today. Each time I was never greeted, or helped after standing around awhile the 1st time I thought that maybe they are just busy, so I left and came back. @nd time I went to the store to check on servicing my prevost and to purchase some supplies. As I stood in line the clerk talked to the customers in front of me who had already paid their 15.00 for lp gas fill. The clerk never acknowledged I was there, even continued to bring up conversations with the customers as they would try and leave. I stood there for 15-20 mins and heard lovely stories of how the clerk was from Pennsylvania, and the fact that he like the P-40 airplane, and on and on. He never acknowledged my presence, I finally walked out the front door he still never acknowledge me. I subsequently called the manager, and low and behold I got his voicemail. I left him a message and gave him my phone number and have not received a call back yet. It usually costs me about 1200.00 for service and I was to purchase 700.00 worth of products, I will now and in the future take my business elsewhere, and I hope the 15.00 lp fillup and the conversation makes your payroll. read more

Do not waste your time and money at this place. They promise service after the sale, they promise you'll be part of the family, but apparently are not capable of delivering on that promise. I bought a used Class A from there, and while I'm extremely happy with my sales rep and the RV I purchased, the service department missed a few (some I'd consider major) issues with the unit during the pre sale inspection. While I understand pre-owned vehicles are sold "as is", I was also told the inspection would point out any issues that needed correcting and that I could choose to have them fixed at additional cost. They did not come back with any issues, other than they told me they replaced the TV antenna. They did not find the windshield wipers did not work, the hot water heater did not work, one of the slides leaked, and more. When I discovered these issues, I took the unit back and left it with the service department for 2 weeks to resolve the issues. Upon picking it up, the leak had not been fixed, the water heater still does not work, and the windshield wipers are questionable. Complaints to service representative and management have not yielded any results. Plus, I've had to follow up on all conversations, and only occasionally have I had an unsolicited call back from them. I'll be taking my business and my money elsewhere and suggest you do the same. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER!! CAUTION .... Their service department does NOT support their sales. I purchased a 2017 Coleman Lantern in April 2017. We used to go camping for about 5 months immediately after purchase. We found a lot of things that needed to be corrected, including several water leaks that just about flooded the camper. In Sept 2017, I took it back to the dealer for service under warranty. They told me, (1) I had to have an appointment (so I made one) and (2) it would take about 2 to 3 weeks for repair. (One side note that I did not find out until I took the camper in for service -- water seals are only good for 30 days!!) However, I took the camper in on my appointment date. Approximately 30 days later, I called to check on the status, and I was told it takes time to find water leaks (actually, at this time the camper had not been evaluated by a technician -- so they had nothing to tell me. I called about 2 weeks later to check on the status, and was told that I could come and get it and take it somewhere else. A technician still has not evaluated the problems. Now, here I am 2 + months later ... and nothing. I will never purchase another RV from them. If I EVER get my RV back, I'll post the outcome. read more
