A great young man, 'J.T.', went straight to the breakers on the generator, flipped it, and instructed us on how to keep that from happening again. It was 87 degrees that day and the next few days, so, we consider him our two cats' HERO. They were able to live in a cool motorhome while we were at conferences. Worst place of sales I've ever stepped foot on premises, in my life. Not one hello, welcome, or even question for assistance and we passed 6 people not tending to customers. The lot is confusing unguided with rigs that have belongings in them??? Not very clean, minus the models indoors. I have cash in-hand and these people just lost a sale to a competitor down the road due to negligence and laziness--potentially even bigotry due to the fact others were getting noticed but being we're a young gay couple...it's questionable. Camping World is not a place I would normally review, but lately I have been in the market for an RV and since I was in the area, I stopped in. So planning is everything and I learned Saturday afternoon is probably the worst time to come here to search for an RV. There were no salespeople who could help me. They had me fill out a form to follow up I am sure. I hope they don't call me because I will give them an accurate summary of my experience. After waiting about 30 minutes I was given an option to leave my I.D. and they gave me a master key to look. Telling me if I found something I liked they would get someone to help me. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE FIRST OPTION. Which is all I really wanted. And I believe the only reason that option was given is because I was about to walk. I have been to other RV dealerships where they just leave the RVs open. I got the impression that this is not in the best area of Orlando and they have whatever rules they have for a reason. Still, the place had a lot of cool RVs and one in particular that I liked. So there is that. Epilogue: Found an RV I liked, grabbed a salesperson who immediately put me in contact with the finance people. And, I have to say, Rachel was really great. They did follow up with me with what looks like an automated response to send them an email and then when I sent the email I got an automated response to call them, which I definitely won't be doing. Not going to waste any more of my time on helping them fix their problems. I am sure they are losing qualified customers because of their log jam. read more

Praises go to Tampa, Florida Camping World!! We needed service while on a trip. We called them and James, the Parts Manager, came to our rescue. We would be there in 4 days and he promised he would order all parts and would start working on our 2023 30' Airstream. He picked Andy who is an Airstream certified technician. Andy and James called us during the day to keep us abreast of what Andy was finding. Andy did an amazing job and spoke to us in detail the steps he took. Parts Manager James and Andy are a great team. Since we had food in fridge and freezer, they kept our Airstream in the bay powered up and let us keep it there over night since we were finally headed home. I know in general that Camping World has received negative comments lately but this team is to be commended for the promises they kept, the outstanding work that they did and in such a time crunch and the billing was QUITE fair. Thank you again James and Andy. We will travel the extra 50 miles to have them work on our Airstream, heaven forbid if anything happens again. I was there three weeks ago. Nothing was wrong with my credit report when you look at an ad and it tells you you put amount down your payments a matter what will be $300 the ad said put 1500 down or more and your payments will be $80-$100 a month. My credit score is a 715 not too bad they bring you in and then they shut you down they all make commission. They lie about advertisement I will recommend to anybody to go there. read more

Actually less than not good. I'm in the market for an A Frame Camper. I spoke with Izzy and another rep for two weeks before they set an appointment with me last Saturday. I was told an A Frame Camper would be opened up on the floor for me to look at. Upon arriving I met with Roberto who works in sales. A minute after sitting down in his office he tells me there's no A Frame Camper on the property and the closest one is in Summerville Florida. While telling me this he tries to push a popup on me which is not what I was even thinking about. My visit lasted 5 minutes after driving an hour to this place. After a series of errors with Camping Worlds chat box on the national web site. I was contacted by Jeremy a salesman from the Kissimmee location even though the RV I was interested was in another location in Tennessee. I myself attempted to reach out to the Tennessee location with no luck. I never received a response. Jeremy took it upon himself to call the manager in Tennessee to gather to information I asked for about the RV. Jeremy also followed up numerous times via text and phone even though he was not going to be paid in event I purchased this RV. I want to thank Chris A. and the service tech that worked on my RV to find and resolve my AC issue. AC just stopped working and Chris knew I was planning a trip so got me in to do a diagnostics for ordering a new AC but Tech found that was not the problem. U thought I needed a new AC but turned out it was a break in the electrical between the circuit breaker box and the AC unit. They found the break (cheap junction made by Winnebago) see phots below and replaced it with the kind you would find in your home (steal box and all) see photos below. Nothing but good things to say, they kept me informed as they went through the process about what they were doing/found; and the costs to continue to make the repairs. Several hours later I was on the road with the AC working and rescheduled my trip - Thanks guys - appreciate the great work. read more

This is a nice facility with a very large selection of every class of RVs, I came here to window shop and that's exactly what I was able to do. The units are all open and available to view unassisted if that's what you want to do, the suggested retail pricing is clearly posted on each unit with an explanation of options. Although I didn't find anything that really interested me, the time I spent here was very pleasant. My husband and I went to Camping World, Kissimmee on a whim. I am newly retired and we were visiting Disney, so we were like, why not go look. Our sales person was Juan Chavez. Juan couldn't have been more patient with us. We really weren't sure what we wanted and were there 4 days in a row looking and re-looking at travel trailers and 5th wheels. We finally decided on a Keystone Montana 3791RD and couldn't be more happy with our decision. Michael in finance and Tyler were great too. Actually, everyone we came into contact with during our visits were very friendly and helpful. Received an email about their weekend sale, lunch, and prizes. We arrived before closing and it looked as if there was nothing going on. We are looking for another RV so thought we would check out this location. I really like Camping World as I have had a nice experience with the one back home. This store is not my favorite and we were a little disappointed about their VIP weekend bust. So we just browsed the store and looked for a couple of items we need for our RV. This place has no idea what customer service is all about. I stopped today to pick up new windshield wipers and there wasn't a customer to be seen at the parts counter. The two parts guys ignored me for over 5 minutes before saying that they would be with me in a minute. It turned out to be over 10 minutes only to find out that they were out of stock of the blades I needed. My grandma purchased an rv from this location The salesman Izzy made my grandmother feel like she was getting a deal on the unit come to find out she paid the sticker price and notice through walk-through it was not cleaned she asked 3 to 4 times to have it cleaned properly a gentleman who works there threw a ladder down in anger and aggression scared my grandmother very much keep in mind she's 81 years old never ever seen anything like this in her life anyhow the rig arrives at home after five hours of her being there all day they had plenty enough time to make sure the rig was inspected thoroughly before sold at $55,000 and I spent three hours cleaning up dog hair from the previous owner All kinds of nasty things they simply obviously did not clean anything they stuck a bunch of air fresheners in all events so that I can hide up the smell of something Also realized I had a buy a new bed because of how much dog hair and how dirty it was that was the first thing I had to do it after cleaning and wiping everything and sanitizing everything before my children stepped foot in the unit We notified camping world the following day about these problems which reached no manager clearly Tyler or one of the other managers offered my grandmother some kind a loyalty program card to try to make up for the latter incident which is not up to par for something like that to happen and then you just offer a loyalty card which is in reality of spending more money with your company kind of a scam we feel the RV should have never been sold off the lot in the manner it was especially at the price it was considering it has paperwork in the owners manual right now that claims it has an outdoor shower it has rear stabilizer jacks but the unit does not have those things also about 10 months into owning the unit my grandmother went in to do some tag work upon trying to do so we find out camping world didn't even do the tag or title paperwork correctly The management offers to buy back at a certain price at camping world only to change the offer slightly with stipulations after four days or so And then try to tell me that I'm slandering him by telling corporate that he's not doing his job correctly and saying That I may want to call the news to report this incident or make a YouTube video for consumers before they're buying expensive Rvs and getting ripped off Or miss treated like me and my family did The manager And all of camping world have given us the runaround for many many months and nothing but excuses after excuses I have everything documented tons of photos and tons of emails to prove everything read more

Made an appointment two weeks ago for 9:00 am On 5/21/21. Was there 15 minutes early. Checked with the service writer Rob as instructed. Was told the job would take a little over two hours. I let them know that i would be waiting and went to the customer lounge (which was a pigpen) to do some work on the computer. After working for a couple hours I took a break to check on their progress and saw the truck still parked out front. It had not been touched! I questioned why and was told it would be next right after the tech went to lunch. I asked why was my appointment was at 9:00 am if the job wasn't to be started until 1:00? If you are considering using Camping World to resell your RV, do your research!. They gave me a low-ball quote ($8500), insisting that my 8 year old RV had little value. Since I was in a hurry to sell because we were moving out of the area, I agreed to the consignment deal. They sold the RV within a week for nearly 3 times what they paid me. I have no problem with them making a profit on their service, but I felt taken advantage of. Just make sure you know the value of your RV before you take their deal. read more
