I went to Thurston first, Michelle took some pictures, made a phone call and provided a price. The price was higher than the price provided by KBB. This all only took about five or possibly ten minutes at most. I had previously gotten a trade-in offer from a new car dealer (Thurston's offer was more than 20% higher). After leaving Thurston's, I drove to a new car dealer provided by KBB. The evaluation and offer took over 30 minutes and their offer was almost $2,000 less than the KBB purchase price (Thurston's offer was over 9% higher). There was a third KBB dealer listed, but I elected to skip them and go back to Thurston. Michelle cut a check in a couple of minutes and Andy Thurston drove me home. A totally painless transaction, which is not what I have experienced with almost all other dealers. I highly recommend Thurston Auto and RV Sales.

Our salesman, Ron Newsome, along with help from James Thorpe, made things incredibly easy. Although I had done some research, not having seen the trailer in person also made us a bit nervous. But I was assured along the way that they would do what they could to make sure we were happy with our purchase. Once our paperwork was straight, we set up a date and drove all the way from Navarre to pick up our RV. We arrived late for our walkthrough, but Karen was standing by waiting for us and did a wonderful job showing us the RV. After that, we went to see Brandon in finance, who had everything ready to go! While we did our walkthrough, a gentleman (wish I remembered his name) from the service department expertly installed a weight distribution hitch on our vehicle. They are in the process of a big expansion project, so they will have a lot more inventory soon. The store had recently opened, and we found out that they had a lot of new year-end models, so we got a really good deal since they wanted to sell it and get new inventory! They even included an anti-sway hitch system and $300 worth of things you need to have for your RV, such as wheel chocks, toilet paper, hoses, and tank enzymes! Everyone there was really nice and answered all of our questions. If they didn't know the answer, they found out! I thought it was great that they take a couple of days to do a thorough inspection of the trailer and make sure everything works before you can take the trailer. We did notice that some trim was damaged, and we're waiting on it to arrive from the factory and get fixed. Hopefully, this will be done soon and without issue since it's covered under warranty. Rating from F to A+++, they get an A+++.

We were planning a cross country road trip so we came in for an inspection and the install of a…read moresoftstart for the A/C. We left with damage to our camper, an inoperable A/C and softstart, and no confidence that any of the work was actually done. We paid about $1000. The tech damaged the outside vent trying to get at the a/c unit (when this was unnecessary). The tech damaged the wall, trying to remove the table. The tech incorrectly wired the softstart making the a/c inoperable. The tech lost a couch button cover (later recovered in the a/c storage area). All the work was sloppy, with no respect to the camper. No attention to detail. No work quality. Leftover pieces and parts from the work and tools were just left in the camper when we picked it up. Dirty hand prints were everywhere. Cabinets were opened. When we returned the camper to say the A/C and softstart were not working, they held it for a week, claimed nothing was wrong, and returned it to us still broken. And they did nothing to offer recovery for the other damage they did to the camper. There was no way we were bringing back a third time. We took it home, researched the error, opened the A/C up, and found that the wiring was incorrect, and we fixed it. The tech attached the camper white wire to the softstart blue wire. It should have been the camper white/blue wire to the softstart blue wire. This is terrible service and incompetence. Good luck to you if you choose to use their services.

THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING A USED RV FROM HERE. I bought a 2024 Thor that had very low mileage on…read moreit. The day we left with it we had water coming in under the slide, broken water heater that was spraying water outside of the water heater (the main valves to the water heater were off so I am assuming the issue was known), after the first rain we noticed more water than just under the slide and realized water was coming from the ceiling, the macerator was not working from the bathroom, and the fridge was not cooling completely. These are not things you can notice during the walk through except maybe the water heater but we did not know the valves were off to the water heater until we went to use the shower. I took this camper to my local Blue Compass due to the fact that i drive over 2 hours to buy this one. My local dealer confirmed these issues including needing a brand new fridge, damaged water heater, leaking roof since it was not sealed prior, new slide seals (found a birds nest inside) and a clogged macerator. Luckily I purchased an extended warranty which covered the refrigerator and the water heater, but the rest of the items were now my expense. Although this camper was used, I still paid a SIGNIFICANT amount of money for it to have all of these issues. I did reach out to the Sales manager in Orlando named Ashlynn but she never would get back to me on the issues. I then reached out to the General manager, named Cindy whom also never bothered to reach out to me. My local Blue Compass advised me that these are issues that their location would not have let go. I am very upset that no one felt the need to contact me at all even if it was to apologize or even a simple "we can't help". All I got was crickets. When I traded my previous camper, I was aware that a part needed replacement and I did my due diligence and ordered the part and had it delivered to them so that my camper was in full working order for them to re sell. I spent $600 just to ship that part because it was the right thing to do even though I got a very low offer on my trade as it was. If you still feel the need to shop here, the only great quality they have is their Sales associate Melissa Salmons. She was wonderful and even tried to help with these issues, but they were out of her hands.
