Horrible communication and very disrespectful. We had an appointment at 5. They got to use around 5:20. Then we waited another 1.5 hours to get into financing. They wouldn't take our debit card because "they don't do 2 card transactions ". Nobody told us we needed to bring a check. We purchased a brand new 150,000 camper. On the way home the check engine light came on. It was a warranty through Ford and took months to get in and fixed. They denied the warranty. We asked for some compensation as it came on with only 40 miles of our driving and about 1000 of dealer delivery driving. They said they would reach out to the home office 2 months ago and never got back to us. No service after the sale. Cost us an extra $1000., we only asked for 600 to split the difference. SCAM ALERT !! so you know when you make special arrangements to drive over 1.5 hours to have your vehicle in for service that was scheduled for 3 days, with warranty work pre-approved by manufacturer on your brand new unit, and the shop tries to RIP OFF the manufacturer for 5 times the amount that was approved to fix. BTW, if the service manager feels that since he's been there for 15 years, he has more experience than the folks that actually build the units, and tries to pass the fees onto the customer.....be careful, you might be in the wrong place. Sounds like they might not have the capacity to do everything they say they can do !! Think long and hard about using CW in Longmont. If they try and exploit their dealer/manufacturer relationship, imagine what they they are doing to their customers !!! read more

We took our RV in for minor warranty work on 2/26/21 and it was damaged by one of their own employees on 4/6/21. No parts have been ordered or replaced they still say they are waiting on a pricing estimate. I felt as if I had to write a review regarding Camping World Longmont's, Brenda Barclay. I am usually not a person to take time to do this, due to my rigorous schedule. However, I felt this was needed. I am new to town, currently attending medical school and Bren was a complete stranger that help me getting gas in my car for me to get me back home to Denver. Overall, it was a rough morning and she turned a difficult situation into a much better one. Ironically, my fiancé and I are in the works of buying a new RV brand and she earned our business and new friendship! CEO, Marcus Lemonis should be proud to have this type of representative working for his corporation. They are very poor with time management and ability to keep people working there for very long. They should close their service department. The only star goes to Tess at the service desk. Absolutely the worst buying experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. First our salesman Shawn N. ghosted us after he got the down payment. We drove from Florida to Longmont to meet him at an agreed time and he did not even show up. Later I called him a couple of times with some questions and he never responded back. They said he was the top salesman which I under stand because he doesn't waste his time with taking care of his customers only perspective customers. Then when dealing with Eric W. the finance guy, thing got really messed up. First Eric cancelled our Good Sam's membership so he could get a commission for signing up a new member. There was a problem with our new account that took me two weeks and 9 phone calls to get it straighten out. At one point I asked Eric to get it done but he did not follow through so I had to figure it out myself. Then the paper work! They sent the paper work to IL to register my RV for the taxes and license plate. The state sent is back to them because it was messed up. When Camping world of Longmont got it back it sat in a pile for at lease two weeks before I tacked it down. They then supposedly fixed the issue and sent the paperwork to me so I could hand walk it in to my DMV. I then took it to the DMV, and believe it or not the DMV rejected it because it was still messed up and there was no lien release. The DMV and myself then call Sheri H. at Camping world to see if she could help us with the lien release and she said she could not. Really! So at this point we purchased our new RV on April 7 and now it is June 1st and we still do not have the taxes paid or our old plates transferred yet which means we will be driving without plates. I have been to the DVM 6 times, spent over 25 hrs and dozens of phone calls to try and get this mess straightened out that Camping world caused. My advice is to never go there, but if you must: 1. do not use Shawn 2. do not let them finance you purchase 3. do not let Eric talk you into an extended service plan. You will do much better getting it on your own. 4. Make sure they charge you the correct taxes. We signed a paper saying that we would pay the difference if they did not charge enough taxes, but don't expect to get a check if you paid too much to them. 5. This business should be audited I've seen nothing but reviews regarding horrible business. I purchased a camper from this company and was forced into repossession due to camping world sticking me. They sold us a camper that had irreversible water damage the point the back wall had fell off. Also they claimed to have fixed an electrical issue 2 months later my Power cord had started fire and melted itself to the wall that had separated. We also had multiple repairs done that actually made the issue worst. They "fixed" our valves when we got it back it was leaking black and gray water all over the place. This company has put me into financial hardship in a time that I needed it most. I would strongly advise not spending a dime in this place. You will be let down and they could care less to collect commissions it's repulsive the way they do business. read more

They sold me an RV with a spec sheet of equipment and features, promised full service, orientation and demonstration upon pickup and NONE of that happened. Further the RV was in such poor mechanical condition that - according to a reputable servicer - would sure have resulted in a terrible accident if I were to drive it further in that condition. Made an appointment with the GM to look at trading our camper for a larger one for 2pm on 7-19-23 at Camping World in Longmont, Colorado. Arrived a few minutes early and was asked to wait, that he would be right down, 20 minutes later someone tells us he can't make it. We informed them that the GM had stated a certain salesman would take care of us. Turns out he knew nothing about it but we continued anyway. We found a camper that fit our needs and was telling them that we had plans to go on a multiple southern state trip in a couple of weeks. We were assured we could go camping when we pulled it off the lot. Took it out for a test camp on 7-25-23 before we left on our big trip, to say we had problems is an understatement. The fresh water tank leaked on all fittings so you would lose water, when you used the kitchen sink in a few minutes water was running all over floor, tried the shower and soon we had water coming out the wall/floor in bedroom. The vents were loose and one had fallen out of the side of camper, trim was loose, etc. Then that evening it rained and water leaked all over the bed. Turns out now we have to deal with warranty/service to get repairs authorized as it is a sold/used camper. I was assured again that we would be able to go on our camping trip and that they would call either Friday or Monday on progress. I called on Tuesday as no one had called, the young lady told me that they were still trying to process warranty paperwork etc and that they would call me next week and it should be ready. We are now into August and we have to call as they do not call when promised, have been getting different stories every time I call (was told it just got pulled into shop several times or that they have been working on it and then I call the Service Manager who could not take my call so I left a message asking him to call me- left my cell number but his secretary calls my wife and tells them they just pulled it in the shop). This went on for several weeks and then all of the sudden it was finished. Went to pick it up (4 hour trip) and was told they still had not gotten warranty approval for all items but that everything else was done. Was going to test it out again so began packing it up when it rained, the camper still leaks so unpack it again and bring it back but in mean time more stuff had fallen off etc so list got longer. They asked if had plans to use camper soon and I told them were had plans to be down south by Sept 10 for a family function so tech said he would call next week, no call back and we go back to not returning calls, not getting updates etc. I tried to see the GM (Scott) when I brought it back and was told he was in and that just have a seat and he would be right down, 30 minutes later someone comes down and states he is busy and cannot see me after all. I told them that I would try another time but that I wanted to talk to him not the people I have already dealt with. I tried several more times with same result, wait and then no GM. I decided to drive up to Camping World in Longmont, CO a little before noon 9-21-23 to speak with the General Manager ( have tried to meet with him 3 or 4 other times with no luck). Same as before the receptionist says he is in and to have a seat he will be down in a few minutes. 20 minutes later and a man asks my name and then proceeds to tell me the GM is busy and has a meeting to go to and if he could help. I stated he might and then asked what he did there, he stated he was the manager of sales so I said you more than likely can help. I started to explain some of the problems we have had and stated I felt like we were sold a used/damaged vehicle. He started to walk away stating he did not know but would find out, I tried to follow to ask some more questions but could not keep up with him 5-10 minutes later another lady comes down and tells me that my camper is done, she hands me paper work and the keys and tells me I don't need to stop at service desk, just go out to the lot and pick up your camper and go. I asked her if they were trying to tell me to leave, she shrugged her shoulders and looked at the ground. I asked if they found the roof leak, she stated that it was dry inside the camper and that they had sealed it again; and that everything else was done. Nothing was done to the inside, while it was on their lot in the process of them moving it the shower door fell apart. Now after pulling it out of storage the shower door they fixed while winterizing is in hundreds of pieces. Not their fault and charged me over $200 to tell me they will not cover it. The GM and crew act like crooks and don't care something needs to be done when you ask the sales manager if they are e selling used vehicles as new and he does not know!! and the GM hides in his office and sends others to ask customers who are unhappy to leave. The customer service is terrible. They will not call back, and every time I call they say all representatives are busy. We are going on 2 weeks now without a returned phone call - even after the manager committed that they would call me back personally. I was going to purchase a class B and do a trade in with the unit that is being repaired and mentioned it when I dropped off for service. I received one call and that a sales rep was going to be in touch - nothing. I ended up purchasing a class B from LazyDays. Still waiting on the repair of my unit. If I could give zero stars I would. I am not one to complain on social media about a business but I feel like I need to let others know about horrible customer service and management my husband and I have experienced. My husband and I recently went to Camping World to get a new camper. We found one we really liked and we decided to go ahead and purchase it. Let me specify when this was. We purchased it IN JULY. We requested that they switch out the toilet for a better quality and add an oning over the slide out. They said no problem. Give us Two weeks and it'll be ready. My husband went in to pick it up when they said it'd be ready and as he pulls up to look it over the maintenance crew were driving it out to us WITH THE SLIDE HALF WAY OUT. This wasn't the only issue. When he went in to see the status of the toilet, it wasn't even done; like they said it would be. On top of that there was water damage from where the slide was signifying they left it half way out instead of not fully extending it or putting it back in like their website AND the campers site says to do. He and I both were livid. They said they take care of it. Fast forward a couple weeks later, they should have had it all done. They didn't even have the parts ordered. This kept happening this way until last week when my husband called and chewed the managers out and asked for the person in charge of the entire Camping World store. Then they claim that the slide has a manufacturing issue that the manufacturer didn't install right. A bunch of BS because THEY were the ones who were driving with it out. So they had to replace that as well. We finally got our camper after NEARLY THREE MONTHS of back and forth. You'd think it's all good now but we discovered when he got it home that they also left the grey water tank completely full as well. We were ready to go in and tell them we wanted a full refund. They refused unless they'd buy it back at THEIR price point choice. To say I'm just upset would be a VAST understatement. I'm pissed. I will NEVER shop at a Camping World EVER again. I also warn anyone who wants to do business with them. They have the worst customer service and management ever. We were passed back and forth to different employees and each time no one had the slightest idea what we were talking about. So without being able to get our full refund on our camper they settled on winterizing it for us and a one year manufacturer on the parts they fixed. I'm still not happy and feel like more needs to be done. Hence why I'm ranting on social media. We lost out on more camping trips with family because we didn't have our camper to do so. Add loads of frustration and stress of dealing with these clowns and having our entire camper belongings in our dining room and garage while we waited for the new one to be done. I know it is tempting to buy an rv here because of the huge selection but if there is ANYWHERE else to make your purchase I would advise you to do so! We made the mistake of purchasing through camping world. Now we are trying to get a few things fixed on our rv. We made an appointment to take it in and drop it off. When we dropped it off they said it would take up to 2 weeks to look at it. Ummmmm then what's the point of making an appointment??? Let me know when you can look at it and then I will bring it in! Doesn't that make more sense???? Anyhow we left it there. 9 weeks later it was finally looked at! NINE WEEKS. Not fixed but looked at! We missed 2 trips we had planned. During this time the guy at camping world kept saying let me see what I can do to get it in sooner. It was just to give me false hope. Now it's been 11 weeks and they are saying maybe 4 more till they get the parts. So after 15 weeks it will still not be fixed! This is outrageous! It's small things that were needing looked at. Nothing to do with the engine or anything. Just a fix to the slide out mainly. I have also left at least 3 messages with the manager that were never returned. We rv full time not just part of the year and have now missed so many planned trips. So I beg you not to buy here. And if you make the mistake of purchasing here you better pray nothing needs fixed ever! Also side note they had my sisters rv for 8 weeks and when they picked it up nothing they said was fixed actually was. It's like they hadn't even stepped foot in it. Just kept it awhile and handed it back. Update: So after them having my rv for a FEW MONTHS I posted this review. Suddenly my rv was ready the next day???? I just took my rv on a long trip and you aren't going to believe this but it wasn't fixed :( the piece that was supposed to be new broke right off the awning over our slide out. I crawled up there to look and could see they put about 2 screws in it - there were a bunch missing and it didn't even look like a new part. So now what do I do? Take it in and not have it for the rest of the summer? I can't use it as is anyway I guess. I ended up taking it in and they have now had it for 8 weeks and it's not done. Worst RV dealership! We drove there from denver for a C-Class RV. We test drove the motor home and loved it. They asked for a $1000 deposit to take off market and get us financed. Without even running credit they secured my deposit. I was okay with it since I wanted to purchase the unit. That was a Saturday. Wednesday they finally called me to let me know I was approved from several lenders. They ran my credit 7 times!!! My credit score decreased from so many inquiries. I called back Thursday and Friday to get a hold of the finance department with no calls back. Finally Saturday of the following week, I get a call back from them. After telling me about 4-5 financing options over the phone, I asked Bob the finance manager to email me the options so I can decide. I am anxious to get back there to finalize the deal and drive the RV home. They sent me only 2 options with a crazy amount of money down, almost 50%. I found out they marked up the units above 30% due to the lack of inventory. So, when I asked about the other options we discussed over the phone; with zero down or longer terms and lower payments, Bob response was, I didn't say that, you must have misunderstood me. I literally wrote down the banks and credit unions and terms as he was telling me. So, to top everything off, when I responded to him saying that I was going to get my own loan with better interest rate and terms, he told me that the pricing they offered was inclusive of their own financial incentives. He would have a sales manager get back to me to discuss the new price. Within about 20 minutes, he responded again and said please disregard my last email, that unit has been sold. So after all of this, even leaving $1000 deposit, they now won't sell me RV because I don't want to pay their ridiculous financing fees. Still no phone call from anyone at Camping World. I will be contacting my attorney and filling an official report with the Colorado Dept of Revenue and where ever else possible to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. They have not yet reached out to apologize for selling my unit, explain themselves or return my $1000 deposit. Shame on you Camping World.. read more

All he wanted to do was show me a Class C for $115,000 saying at the same time that I wasn't gonna find an RV and everything was competitive. He was the opposite of help. A waste of time. I would give them a Zero if it were an option. These guys are unethical (they claim that standard items are upgrades. Got a sheet from the manufacturer (Keystone) that indicated what were "included" items and what were "upgrade." Camping World puts their own cover sheet on it to make you think you're looking at the manufactures invoice to jack up their prices!). Their regular advertisement, that they will beat "the competitors price or pay you $1000" is also bogus. We ended up buying a unit from South Dakota, paid to have someone drive it here, ($1700) and still saved an additional 20% of of their "best price." When we contacted them to get the $1000, they (wrongly) denied our claim. Jake, the Sales Manager in Longmont, was really rude and unprofessional when we called to follow up, and then stopped replying to us entirely. Avoid Camping World at all cost in Colorado! Pretty cheesy in their whole approach. Use them to look at their units and then start shopping on the internet and compare prices - you will save money! We ended up buying from I -29 RV in South Dakota and had an amazing, Customer focused experience from the first email all the way through delivery of the unit. First time buyer- wanted to check out camping world because they had a nice inventory. Didn't check reviews first. All was well until the sales guy kept telling us different numbers. He also stated we would have to buy the battery that was installed from the factory by the manufacturer. He also states we would have to pay to have it cleaned and detailed before delivery. (Floors had plenty of snow melt/dirt on them from people looking). Once we started getting close to buying it, we went in during a snow storm to look at it once more. While inside, two guys came in like they were looking at the camper we wanted. You could tell someone sent them there. Typical sales tactic that I didn't take serious at all). Once the sales manager called, it seemed his numbers were off too from our initial negotiating price. They will try and lock you in with a deposit your first time there. These guys are all over the board and nickle & dime you for everything. Ive heard the service after the sale is non existent, but fortunately I didn't make it that far. Buyer beware- these guys love first time buyers and will try and walk all over you. I got much better service and communication out of a smaller dealer. (Bish's in Cheyenne). read more

Spent a good amount of time looking at campers. The salesman gave us the pricing and information on a couple of specific models that we liked. Once my husband and I narrowed down the options, we went back the next day to buy the one we agreed on. To our surprise, the salesman now told us it was $12,000 more than the day before. He then showed us what he actually priced out the day before and it was in bad shape. Missing couch, missing covers, etc. When asked about getting them replaced before purchase, they instead said we could purchase a new couch for additional funds. What? One star is 5 to many. They had my unit brand new for warranty work through Thor. They had my unit for roughly 8 months they caused more damage to it then they fixed. I spent a total of 4 nights in this rv. It looks like one of there techs lived in for months it was so dirty. After they said they cleaned it. Unfortunately when i picked it up i was very sick. I picked it up last year and want able to thoroughly inspect there so called work until today. Yes I know it was a long time but when you're very sick you don't really care about anything besides getting better. A year later we are going to be able to finally use it. They didn't put the ac back together properly neither one of the two work. They didn't put the divider back in them to separate the supply and return. So we have no air coming out of the vents now. We did before. What a joke. Let's see if they call me. I'm don't even have enough time to write about the damage they caused to my rig. read more

This place is by far the worst sales center I have ever seen for any product. They lied to us at every turn, never seemed to perform their "Pre-sale check", they know absolutely nothing about the "Good Sam" "protection", and stole our money from us. The first point I'd like to bring up is the constant lying. The entire time we were processing the sale I was adamant that I'd want a warranty. Just in case to cover any costs of broken parts, failures, leaks, etc. They assured me that the Good Sam package was as good as the warranty when you buy an RV. Well, cut to about 2 weeks later and I have the pex line to my toilet leaking. I had no idea there was a leak until I raised my trailer to tow it and water just pours from the rear, everywhere. I took it out and came back as it was a little later on Sunday and they weren't open. My father-in-law and I spent the entire night fighting this leak. That morning I went and bought fittings for pex tubing and got the leak stopped. With the leak stopped I figured it hadn't leaked for very long and continued about my time. Well about 2 weeks later we notice a soft spot on the floor and I call them up to see what I need to do to get repairs. It took 4 days for anyone to speak with me! The people were rude on the phone placed me on hold for days and ignored every message the the desk lady "left" them. I couldn't believe my ears when I asked if it was covered and they gave my the phone number to good Sam's 800 line. They told me they had no idea what was covered so I'd have to call them. Well I did, the number was wrong. But I looked it up online and found it. During my call I was informed that I have to take it in to get a quote. So I try to schedule an appointment they tell me it'll be MONTHS before I can get a call back. I understand rvs take time but I just wanted to know if I was covered or not. They said they didn't know. Good luck getting a call back from literally anyone here. They never once called my back during any of these issues. Another lie was they told my they would install my brake controller into my truck when we bought it and they would roll the price into my total bill. That was fine. But upon further inspection it turns out they gave me a paint protection plan for the exact same amount and told me they couldn't do anything about it. They stole over $800 to give me a paint protection. I have had nothing but issues with this camping world, there is a whole lot more too. If I can save at least one person from making the mistake of doing business with them then I'd be happy. These people don't care that the heater that came with the RV (that we bought in the summer) was broken, we have only had this trailer for about 5 months and I have leaks EVERYWHERE! It's so bad in here that it is a safety issue. The floor is warped they're is a leak from behind the bed somewhere, the roof is leaking. The last point I would like to bring up is that my front scissor Jack's broke and when I took them in (they are covered under good Sam) they told me I used them incorrectly and would not replace them. They basically laughed me out of the store and told me I didn't know anything. Even though under the circumstances we were using them they were used correctly and just failed. I can't believe the hell these people have put me and my wife through over this entire ordeal. If anyone asks me what I thought. I'd tell them go anywhere but here. I don't know where to start or how many lines I have to complete this review but here goes! First, I would rate them zero if allowed. This company in MY OPINION would be in serious trouble IF they weren't bankrolled by a wealthy person or so Nationally known. Even though my 2020 JAYCO MBOK has been in the LONGMONT CAMPING WORLD shop every year during the winter for 3 seasons fixing defects and workmanship issues, constant issues or excessive delays with Jayco in approving COVERING Warranty repairs, constant turnover in the service department. I gave them 5 Star reviews due to the fact the service had massive supply chain issues during Covid. The last year or so, this dealership in my opinion taken a nosedive. People are leaving for other dealerships that were INCREDIBLE against all odds or promoted to other positions like Mykala John, Darrel and Eric in finance. to name a few. Even if there was a delay in parts availability, I got weekly updates. 5 star lip service is all we have gotten since early October and they just now the roof fixed which was not covered by warranty even though it split open and JAYCO would not cover on warranty, considered a "Maintenance item". I inquired about the GOOD SAM's 6 Year Extended warranty and the NEW finance manager was awesome but told me unfortunately it covers mechanical too, SIGH. I could go on about body shop but that's another BAD JOKE! I dropped it off around Oct.4 for winterization and I DO think they did it before it froze. The roof issues were found during inspection and I questioned paying out of pocket but ended up agreeing to pay just to get it done and asked for estimate on the body work and if reasonable I would pay myself rather than open a claim with insurance( looks like storage lot deal) but no cameras, so ok. After numerous checking on all repair progress I escalated to GM, service manager and Body Shop manager. I got a lot of promises to keep me informed and they did(short time). I finally got an estimate around Jan/Feb told to open an insurance claim before they start work....and I HAD TO PAY $250 to order materials before they would start and I am not #1 in the queue, so might not get it done by May 20th camping. Sorry if you are reading this and dozing off, there are more examples. I called Camping World and plan on picking it up next couple of days to take to another dealer that can guarantee me it will be done in 2-3weeks max if not sooner. BTW, We bought another JAYCO in 2007 and had an issue or two about delivery and it was K and C. Never had one defect or issue wit it but after this fiasco, I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER JAYCO OR DEAL WITH CAMPING WORLD, I don't care to speak to Marcus' (CEO). read more

We purchased a 2020 Jayco Flight from Camping World of Longmont at the end of June 2020. There were several problems with the unit which were identified as the employee did the "orientation" with us. He had no idea how to fix them and couldn't answer many of our questions about the unit. He had a knowledgeable manager do the identified repairs while we waited. Numerous other problems developed as we used the unit. Both the printed user manual and online manual were incorrect on several accounts. All messages left with Camping World service were not returned. Sales finally put someone from service on the line for me. She talked to a service manager about the specific issue of a missing bypass valve and came back on the phone saying we should call the Jayco 800 number that some models only have one bypass valve on the water heater. I informed her that his info was "bullcrap" since antifreeze will leak down from the rerouted cold water line into the heater. Before she gave me the 800 number she hung up on me, apparently because I used the word "bullcrap." We previously owned a Lance camper purchased elsewhere for 8 years. The quality of the Lance product was vastly superior to that of the Jayco. Clearly, there was no quality control/assurance function at all in its manufacture. The Camping World of Longmont delivery, service, and support is among the worst I have ever experienced even much worse than any government organization I have ever dealt with. The combination of Jayco quality and Camping World service is utterly appalling. read more

We purchased a 2010 Keystone Fuzion Model 360. We worked with Shawn Nelson and came to agreement on a purchase. Shawn was pleasant, easy to work with and helpful. He helped us identify an insurer and we put together an application for financing on 10/30/19. We scheduled delivery for 11/5/19 and left. Unfortunately, there have been no good experiences since. We arrived to pick up the unit on 11/5 at 10:30 and waited over an hour. Somebody finally informed us that a new slide-out hydraulic pump was needed and that they were going to have one delivered and we could come back at the end of the week to pick it up. We made another trip (30-min drive-one way) and sat in the shop for another extended period of time and got a story that there was an electrical problem and they thought new batteries would solve the problem. We were unable to wait any longer and agreed to return to pick up the unit. They promised to call when it was ready. I finally reached out on November 10 since I hadn't heard and they said "it will be ready for sure tomorrow". We returned on November 11 waited for another extended period of time before they finally informed us that there was a problem with the landing jacks and they were going to replace them. Since I was scheduled for shoulder surgery on 11/14, I told them that there was no choice - it had to be ready by 11/13. While we were waiting on 11/11, I suggested that we complete all of the paperwork so everything would be ready since we were running out of time. We completed that process and we were convinced to purchase an extended warranty for $2,785. I received no additional information and finally called back on 11/13, letting them know I was coming in. When we arrived, we had to wait for another hour since apparently things weren't ready. Finally, with 30 minutes left until closing, we went through a very rushed delivery process. I then hooked onto the unit and moved it to storage space. At that time, the landing jacks would barely work and I struggled to get it unhooked. I had no choice but to leave it and get prepared for my surgery the following morning. On 3/25/20, when I was finally physically able to, I made a reservation at a local campground and took the new rig for a disappointing test run. There were several things wrong including leaks on a toilet valve and shower faucets. The biggest problem was with the batteries and landing jacks. The batteries would not charge and the landing jacks did not work. I returned the unit to the Longmont Camping World on 3/27 to get these things serviced - hoping that my new extended warranty would come in handy. After a couple of weeks, I called to check on the status and learned that, interestingly enough, those landing jacks that were allegedly replaced were old and worn out and they were checking with the extended warranty people and working on getting parts. I called every week or two after that to check the status and continued to get the same broken record explanation of why things were not getting done. Since we had planned a camping trip for Father's day weekend with my family (including my 82-year-old parents) I was beginning to get concerned that I would not have an RV available and told the service personnel that things needed to get done to support my plans. At the end of May, I called left a message that I was picking the unit up on 5/26 regardless of what still needed to be done. I arrived on 5/26 and waited 30 minutes until they brought the unit around. I asked about the batteries that should have been under warranty and they said they would take care of that. I went to hook onto the RV and, found the unit sitting very low. Since the jacks didn't work, I asked them to lift it up for me. A worker came around with the forklift, lifted the unit and I dropped the legs to hold the unit up. He dropped the forklift and drove off. In the meantime, somebody came out with two new batteries, handed them to me, and said, "did you bring your tools?". I had tools and told him so. He told me to let him know when I was done and he would take the old batteries. They gave me a bill for $514.35 (for doing nothing), I paid it and left. I took the unit to another service provider and he got me on the road for my trip 2 weeks later. I ended up replacing the jacks, the jack motor, the battery charger/converter other items (in the meantime, the microwave quit and I had to replace it). I am providing you this feedback because it needs to be said. I paid $2,785 for an extended warranty that appears to me to be completely worthless.In addition, I have spent over $3k to repair the unit (most of the repairs are to components that I was told were replaced before delivery). I feel I have been lied to and certainly not treated well. I have no desire to ever step foot in the Longmont Camping World store again - for anything. In addition, I will certainly not recommend the store to anybody for ANYTHING. read more

Purchased a travel trailer at Longmont Camping World back in March 2018. Really enjoyed our salesperson and our finance person - both were very kind and personable. Other than that, our experience was quite poor. Had a 3PM appointment to close on our new camper and did not even start paperwork until after 6PM. Everyone was nice, but a 3 hour wait with 2 kids in tow is rough. 2 months later still making calls to camping world as they didn't properly complete title work and I can't get license plates for the camper. Overall very nice people, but operationally this business is a disaster. I fully understand all the reviews that state they will never return to service their camper at this location. UPDATE - 08/01/2018 - Turns out it's not that the title paperwork was done improperly, it just wasn't done at all. Simple first in first out process, and they have been so busy selling campers they cannot keep up. So they gave me another 60 day temp tag back in May. Called back today as that temp tag has also expired, still no title paperwork. Bought the camper in March, it's now August. I guess I'll get another 60 day temp tag and go from there. read more

I bought a new trailer from them at the beginning of March, had it for 3 months and now they have had in since June 8th. They are suppose to be repairing warranty items but always tell me a story about why it is still there. When I question what I am being told then their story changes, almost always conflicting with what I was told in a previous conversation. I would avoid doing business with them if at all possible. read more

Never answered the phone! The I tried their BOT, it could not understand, forget about them!

Bought a new 24 Jayco, tire blew out 10 miles down the road. They couldn't be bothered to help here (all I needed was someone with the right sized tire iron). Anyways got the spare on. I ended up taking the blown tire in to a local shop and they said they could see it was installed incorrectly (valve stem) which lead to it being defective. We checked the other tires and let Camping World know that others are leaking as well from the valve stem. Their idea is to have someone come drive it from my house to their lot, but have me sign papers saying they are not liable for any damages. It has 4 defective tires and it's their idea to move it, not a wise option in my opinion. They have been unhelpful from the point of us signing and them collecting their money. I will be paying out of pocket for someone to re install the valve stems and for a new tire because their best answer is "we don't know how long warranty will take". This is a brand new camper and we have trips planned soon. They are unhelpful and good luck getting anyone to actually call you back. Camping world, please let me know where I can recoup my money for the new tire and valve stems that you failed to identify were faulty when it was on your lot. read more

Sorry to see that Camping World Longmont, Colorado is NOT following the Governers "wear a mask" edict for it's employees, saleman and counter people. This place has a lot of seniors and at risk people that buy items and service there. They are not taking the safety of their customers serious and you should go elsewhere. read more
