If I could give negative stars I would. Don't want to read my whole thing? Here's the short version. I've owned my camper for 10 months. They've had it for 8. They also caused additional damage while it was sitting on their lot. Purchased 2018 Jayco. ~50k, 7/27/19. Take it back 10/3/19 for warranty work as follows: Interior wall rebuilt twice (I don't even know if they attempted the first time). Roof replaced twice (they goofed up the first replacement). Bad moulding on slide 4. Slide 3 is not running correctly (replaced all mechanisms, 8 months later, seals are still bad, control board was bad. Tried to tell us seeing outside while slide out is in/out is totally normal. Stress crack in this same slide. Land gear switch doesn't work. Slide 2 in out of adjustment and rips an 8" hold in lino. They have to replace all lino. In this process, they ruined carpet (not all replaced) spilled caulking on walls, stove, floor, and couch. Lino has bubbles. Gray tank is leaking. They dent and scratch 2 skirting panels, many decals ruined during roof fiasco, adhesive spilled in numerous places. Front panel is incorrectly installed and replaced. Can see air above the fridge. TV not working. Get it back for 3 weeks in March. Slide 3 still not working. Slide 1 seal comes off and have cold air and rain pouring in. Heat quits working. Have a conference call with a very rude GM Scott Folkman who asks me twice during the conversation, "What can we do to make you happy today?" They come and pick up 4/5/19. They fix the above, in addition to stress cracks in the cap. They call us for pickup 6/5/19. We go up, manager doesn't want to come around, seals on slide 1 that were "repaired" are already falling off, seals on slide 3 are still bad, and on top of it, cap is oxidizing. We are told a) this is perfectly normal for a brand new camper, b) it's our own fault for not purchasing the extra paint protection plan. At this point, after 8 months of them having the camper, we're done. Camping World is THE WORST. You want service? Don't go here. You want a quality product? Don't buy a Jayco. The whole experience has been a NIGHTMARE. During this whole process, 3 of the people I worked with, including the head of service, left/got fired/came to their senses. Good for them. I don't know how these people sleep at night. read more

I placed an online order on the website June 12, 2021 for camping accessories that i need for my camping trip on July 6th. I couldnt find it on my camping world account, so I called to find out. I was told she didn't know why it hasnt shipped, but it would go asap. I checked again 3 days later to see no progress. I then emailed Mr. Marus who "says if your not happy, Im not happy" and never even got a response! I called again today to be told the same thing its being processed and will ship this week. Too late, I will not get it by my trip, so i said cancel it, and she would not cancel my order!! Not happy, and wasted time and money! read more

Once you purchase a camper from here you can expect the most inefficient, unorganized, snail-paced and dysfunctional customer service and competency from most employees and the business in general! Owners should overhaul the entire operation and evaluate their managers one by one. Think twice before buying from here. read more

Sorry to say that we cannot write a good review. We were very excited to purchase our Thor Class A Axis, but the unit has been nothing but problems. We have had it in several times for repair...most covered by warranty, but each time the unit comes back without the issue resolved. They have had to re-order the correct parts several times. Some of the issues are related to the Axis itself and that is a different review, but we don't recommend working with this group. The only good experience was with our sales guy who was very knowledgeable. After that it was all downhill. We just picked up the unit again to have a water pump repaired and find it still leaking in the same spot as when we took it in. Go elsewhere to buy your RV. read more

it all started when we bought a camper from Camping World, was used but was promised repairs before we received it. Never fixed what they said they would, then first trip out could not run interior lights or pump for water/ bathroom without starting the generator (which was supposed to have been checked before we bought it), then tried to watch a movie on the entertainment system which did not work at all (again was supposed to have been checked) so we returned to Longmont camping world to get service. Picked up before next trip and found the slide to be in need of repair, dropped of at Longmont camping world in September, still haven't received it. it's now been 5 months, when I call the service desk they say we will call me back but never do. Long story short, avoid this place and save yourself from the neglect. Plus you can find a better deal elsewher, should have stayed with castle country. read more

I recently purchased a Mallard camping trailer from Camping World. The individuals that I worked with were all very helpful. There was a slight hiccup in our sales process and the finance team and store manager came through with great service. I don't ever write reviews, but felt compelled to write this one, especially after seeing the huge number of negative reviews for very similar problems. We just purchased our camping trailer earlier this month. Our salesperson, Joe, was amazing. The finance department very helpful, as we had to finance it. The sales manager walked us through the store and tried to sell us everything on the shelves, but backed down whenever we said no. All fine and good. We waited a week to have it prepped (clear coat over the paint job, and a few other details) dropped the truck off to have the hitch and brakes done the night before pickup, and all was well when we got it. We got insurance through Good Sam, etc. All was well. Good Sam decided to let me know in a letter a week later that they were still waiting on two pieces of information (one was one I gave the lady on the phone and the other one was never mentioned to me). Fine, I emailed the info the next day. And never heard back. So I emailed it again. No response. I faxed it a day later. Finally, several days later I received a form letter stating everything was good. Then came our camping trip, which was fun until we came home and tried to let the power jack down. Turns out it blew a fuse. OK, no problem, I went to NAPA and picked up a few fuses. All of which blew when we tried to use the jack. There was no hand crank, so we couldn't do it by hand. My husband had to use a floor jack to disconnect the trailer from the truck, and jackstands to prop up the front of the trailer. Several calls to the service department, no answer. No return calls from our messages. Finally, today my husband called, only to be told we "aren't in the system." WHAT?!? He looked up several reviews of the powerjack and it turns out the blown fuse issue is common. And since the service department isn't interested in helping us, we ended up spending an additional $300 to purchase a different model powerjack with EXCELLENT reviews, which I guess we get to install ourselves. So my caveat emptor is: you'll probably be very happy with the purchase experience, especially if you are lucky enough to get Joe, but you'd better not have any problems, because the Service Department won't answer your call, won't call you back, and won't acknowledge you as a customer. And I'm hopeful that Good Sam won't be a problem for us either... read more

Brought my Work n Play to CW of Longmont for service, including new water heater, and other stuff. Seven times I've left the Camping World Service shop having been told its fixed, good to go. No hot water now seven trips in a row in 2019. Going back again. I will update this review after my next trip to their shop. Absolute Nightmare!!! I'm hoping I can improve this rating with a fixed unit. Until then, my rating is this has been an expensive frustrating nightmare. read more

Due to Covid we scheduled our De-winterization early this year so we would have our camper back in plenty of time for our first camping trip on memorial weekend. That appointment was scheduled for April 30, 2021. After they did the De-winterization they called and said it looks like your slide needs service would you like us to do the service. We said sure, we pick the RV up and then realize three days later the slide doesn't work. We call and take it back to camper world, we still don't have our RV back, no other explanation other than they are waiting on the warranty department of the manufacturer. This seems to be the excuse every single time we can't get our RV back....it's a warranty issue, it is the warranty department of the manufacturer. The customer service at camper world sucks. At this point I don't want to take my RV back to camper world or buy another RV at camper world again. We're tired of dealing with their service department customer service and getting non-committal, rude responses from them. Bottom line, the slide out worked before we took it in for De-winterization, when we brought it home it didn't work. I don't care who is responsible to fix it or pay for it I just want it fixed. read more

I'm not usually one to complain online but my experience so far at CW in Longmont has been less than wonderful. We bought a brand new travel trailer and the floors are bubbling, the wall is buckled, hot water heater isn't working, trim is falling off and when we brought it in we were told it was no big deal and left it there for service. When we picked it up the only thing they did in service was put 2 nails in the trim. We were told that they would have to get permission from the warranty people to fix the floors...which by the way to fix the issues is ripping up the old floors and laying down new flooring. Not to mention the hot water heater is only heating on gas not electric and still not fixed. And the wall will have to be replaced. We bought this camper less than a month ago and now have to have around 2-3 months of work on it if it's a approved by Keystone warranty sold us a lemon and aren't wanting to make it right. Update since my last review....RR stabilizing jack stopped working and had to do a manual over ride since service never showed up to our camping site as promised. Amber the receptionist was completely rude as we were stuck in our spot unable move. We left a message for the GM and not to our surprise no call back. The ONLY time in the last 3 weeks he has spoken to us is when my husband went to his office. When my husband refused to shake his hand....why shake the hand of a person who can return a phone call or 3...he used the F word in from of our kids. Last we finally got a hold of CW costumer service like they requested to my post and imagine that....they didn't call back when they said they would. They sold us a brand new Keystone Laredo that is falling apart and continues to have issues. read more

Just bought a "new" travel trailer. I am 72 and my daughter and her three children want to go camping. Feel so taken advantage of it is hard to put into words. Got the trailer home and took off the protective coating they told us on the window to find there is not a window! They said they would replace it - crickets. The braking system stopped on the street dead in our tracks as it keeps falling out - so we have a trailer we cannot use or drive. So, do I think they saw two women who knew nothing about trailers and didn't care. They got their sale. I have emailed/called and never have had a response. read more

I felt compelled to add my review after seeing all the negative ones on this Camping World location. Even though CW had the exact unit we wanted, we were hesitant due to the terrible reviews on Google and Yelp. I am pleased to report that we had nothing short of an outstanding experience at Camping World Longmont and are now the owners of a 2016 Jayco travel trailer. We did our homework ahead of time on price, looked at a few units over a couple of weekends in January and February and worked with Brent D in the sales department on the purchase. Since we had done our research, the negotiating process that I usually dread was quick and fair, and our delivery last week was smooth as well. Jim in finance initially offered a few of those "add-ons" they're always trying to push, but was not overly pushy when I declined. On delivery day, we got a complete walk-through of our unit and I was in and out of finance after 10 minutes and three or four signatures. All in all, our experience was the complete opposite of what I'd anticipated given the reviews here. I have a service appointment for dewinterization in April and will comment on service at that time, but I would not hesitate to send friends or family to Brent at Camping World Longmont. read more

I will not be "long winded", however I am compelled to share my current experience with the Camping World at Longmont Colorado. On June 21st, after finding two parts had been stolen off of my fifth wheel, I called and ordered two parts from a very cordial young lady. She stated the truck would be in with my parts in June 25th and she would call. I am a Good Sam member. By Wednesday June 27th, I had not received a call, so I called, talked to a nice gentleman, who took my info and promised to call back after the parts were located. On Thursday, June 28th, after no callback, I called and asked for the parts manager, left a message, no callback. On Friday, June 29th, I called AGAIN, and explained very cordially to the operator I was unhappy and please no message I wanted to speak to the store manager, I was advised she was out but that when she "walked through the door" she would get my message for a return call. Still no callback. Granted my order is not a large order, but I recently purchased a fifth wheel, and we all know they need maintenance. I am rapidly becoming disenchanted with Camping World and anticipate going elsewhere. Today I called and was told the manager was at the parts counter filling in, I said great transfer me to parts. I was told too many people in front of me and she wouldn't get to me..... My name and number taken AGAIN still no call back. Do not buy from camping world or camping world in Longmont, CO! We've been dealing with them since we bought our camper and it's been the worst experience in my life. All they care about is making their money and selling defective units. We bought a brand new 2020 unit off the lot that had issues that camping world new about, had been paid to be fixed by the manufacture and never fixed. They sold the unit to us after being paid by the manufacturer and never fixing the issues. We made note of the issue at our walk through and they told us they would fix it. A bunch of lies. They new something was wrong even worse than what we thought, they sold it to us anyways. We have taken this up all the way through corporate and they seem perfectly fine giving us a camper with a door that will eventually fall off the bathroom, plumbing in the wrong spot, and the quality of them trying to fix this has been the worst I've seen. It's fix it the cheapest way and get them out of our way. My family spent years searching for the perfect camper for our family with our 3 little girls to then have the worst experience of our life. We now have a loan on a camper that will never be what it should have been when we bought it brand new - which was perfect. We've gotten the run around for 7 months now of how the company is not willing to put in the money to repair this camper the way it should have been before they ever even sold it to us to begin with. They don't care. They won't want to spend the money. They don't care about us. The CEO says on their website if it's not right or your not happy let them know. Well we have multiple times and nothing changes. We are very understanding people and have remained positive through all of this. Hoping that people at this company are decent human beings who care about others, who know how much of an investment a camper is, know how much having something like this means to others. But we haven't seen that. We've seen a corporation that cares about money. They don't care about us. If they did, they never would have sold a faulty unit to begin with and then lie about it. I trusted you with my money, I trusted you would take care of us, I trusted you were honest, you cared -- and you let me down. You let my family down. You let my 10 year daughter, my 7 year old daughter, and my 4 year old daughter down. Who wants to talk to them when I tell them why we don't have a camper right now, why it's "broken" and camping world won't fix it. Who wants to tell them? That you can't trust people to do what's right. As the camping seasoning approaches we do not have a camper. Our camper sits in Longmont still not repaired the way it should have been. I still pay $290 a month for a camper I cannot use. A camper that could have easily been fixed - the issue resolved completely back in August of 2020 when we turned it into you. But instead it sits there, as we drive way, making a 3 hour round trip AGAIN to pick up a camper you said was fixed and it's not. It took everything I had to run up to the sweet families walking with your sales person and tell them to not buy from you. To not trust you. But I didn't. Maybe you will sell them a camper that is 100% perfect. A camper that doesn't have issues you know about but will sell to them anyways. You won't have them sign into a 30k loan knowing what they are getting is not what they think they are buying. Maybe you will. Maybe you will not. I write this as we drive home without our camper. $290 will come out of my bank account. I will return home to tell my girls you didn't give us a fixed camper. I will continue to feel sick to my stomach, continue to wonder why we trusted you. Maybe this CEO will read this, I doubt it. But maybe someone looking for an honest opinion on their experience at your company and your location will read this and keep driving by on I-25 to find a camper somewhere else. read more

No wonder they have such poor reviews.. nobody ever answers the phone. A little frustrating on a Wednesday at 12:10pm and no one picks up.

This was our first camper purchase, and we purchased a used unit. I'd like to say that everyone we spoke with was very friendly and nice. However, they were not good about keeping me in the loop. I constantly had to touch base with them to see where we were at. We were assured that once we agreed on a price, they would go through the unit carefully and check all the systems. When I asked for a list of what they were checking this is the response I received: "As far as the check list I do not have access to the specific list. We will check and fix everything involving the major systems such as the water lines, fridge, propane system, slide mechanism, heater, plumbing, everything like that. Pretty much everything but cosmetic things." Sounds pretty good right? Much better than buying from an individual, right? Right.... So here's what happened. I arrived to pick up the unit. I was told repeated by everyone I talked to that the unit was "as-is" so once I drove it off the lot, tough. Okay, no big deal. They'd done their part, right? I was escorted through the unit and shown how everything worked. My first concern was when I saw that the damage to the bedroom slideout was much worse than I had originally realized. I could see this now, because at some point the slideout had been knocked or something, so it was more obvious. This was considered cosmetic damage, even though half of the bottom of the slideout was literally rotted out. It never occurred to me that I had the power to re-negotiate the price at this point. I was told everything was in working order, the papers were signed, I brought it home. It took us a while to fix the slideout. Rotted out and all that. At this point, I found the first problem. I had a horrible hydraulic leak, as in I've ran my slideouts out once, the bedroom portion three times, and I'm really low on hydraulic fluid. It was leaking when I picked it up; I just hadn't realized at the time that that was why the battery was so shiny looking. If you refer above, this is one of the major systems they "checked". So I got the slideout repaired. Ran the heat, everything okay there. Filled my water tank....after I fixed the leak coming out of the city water hookup. There was also a leak on my outdoor shower. Major systems... My kitchen sink p-trap leaked. Fixed that. The switch for my water heater didn't work properly. Fixed that. Seeing a pattern here? Oh, look, there's a leak in my grey tank. Haven't fixed that yet. The black mold covering the fridge gaskets must have been considered cosmetic. I don't really see it that way, but since I missed it, I guess that's my bad. I haven't had the heart to run out my awnings, which they didn't run out the day I picked it up because they were "concerned about the wind." And I just hope that come summer the air conditioner actually works. My point is, if you're buying used from here....well, have fun. read more

I am editing my review. I have received great customer support for these issues. I know it can be hard to run a small company, so I am sure large companies have big issues. I contacted Camping World and they recognize the service issues and are working hard to fix them, and I believe that is the truth. It seems to me that Camping World is trying to be a good company. I have mentioned the experience to coworkers and the great service they will be visiting. I will be shopping here again and I do enjoy walking through the giant selection of camping things they stock This is a hard one, I purchased a camper from this company and it was a mess. 2013 JayCo, I picked up a use camper and they have a very defined policy printed and placed on the table. They charge a $499 fee for processing and inspection of the unit. I purchased this unit and when I showed up, a week after pitches, I immediately found issues, simple things that had been missed. They were quick to fix them so I left content. My first trip: I showed up with no water. The drain valve was cracked and had fell off on the road. I noticed a small leak from the side when I filled the camper, but paid little attention to it. When we arrived the valve was gone. It took a tire plug and a bunch of water runs down the hill to fix this. I then went to power the heater that night and the battery was dead in an hour, this sets off the carbon monoxide decree every 40 sec, upon inspection the battery was empty of fluid. This really made me question my own attention to the possible issue and the things I should of inspected. I contacted camping World and they agreed to replace the battery. The valve could not be proven an issue before I took the camper. Next trip all went well on site, first long haul. On the trip home I lost a tire , it blew and ripped off the propane line. I then checked the pressure and found the tires over inflated. All of these items should of been found in the inspection, I did pay fair market value for a used camper and a sizable inspection fee. But the big and little things were missed. I am now a few hundred in self repairs. And spent a hour on the side of I-70 replacing a tire. I would not recommend camping World if you want a camper that is ready off the lot. Pros: friendly Large selection Lots of cool stuff in the store Replaced parts as I found them. Only cost me $499 to look for them. Cons: Service is a ripoff, they missed, bad breakaway cable, non functioning carbon monoxide detector, over inflated tires, failed to fill fresh water tank, no fluid in the battery. I feel like a chump for not checking the tires, I drive a lot and do regular tire checks, but there was grease on the bearings and the camper looked nice. I took a chance and had to take evasive actions to control the camper at 60 MPH. Please take all precautions when dealing with this company. My situation could of ended very poorly. They seem to be attempting to fix there issues but it isn't fixed yet. read more

Yet another disappointing interaction with Camping World. The refrigerator in my new Jayco trailer was replaced (and that took a LOT of calls and waiting) and now there is a recall notice for electrical issues from the manufacturer. Camping World would not pick up the trailer for repairs and then return it to me for which means that I would have to drive the long distance from my house to them for yet another problem. Do not purchase a vehicle here!. I purchased a coachman leprechaun here on 7/7/20. dropped 75K and cannot register my vehicle! I have been on the telephone with the DMV and the dealership many times. The dealership sent in the paperwork with the wrong information. It was sent back for correction then was never sent out again. We are now over 3 months after purchase and I still cannot register the vehicle. Every time I call the dealership the very friendly reception forwards me to an answering machine. No one there seems to answer their telephone or takes ownership of what seems to me a simple clerical error. I love the RV but its useless if you cannot register it. read more

People seemed friendly and helpful when my dad dropped his rv off to get some work done. When I went to get some of my belongings a few days after dropping it off, I discovered they had stolen $400 from me. They had gone though the drawers and stole my money. All they could tell me when I complained was that they will see what they can do. 3 days later and no progress has been made. If that wasn't enough, they didn't even fix the electric opener which was one of the main reasons for bringing the rv in. Overall terrible experience. Dont bring your business to this establishment. read more

We went into Camping World 3 weeks ago looking at pop up campers, we found one and decided to purchase it. They ran our credit and took a deposit. No one contacted us about any further steps so we called them after three days and were told that everything was good and we just needed to get set up to have a hitch hitch put on our car and you can even pick up the camper and sign the paperwork. After three weeks of going back-and-forth with her is missing parts and people suddenly having to leave for unexpected trips we have not been able to sign your paperwork and they keep telling us there's something else that they need from us and we're done. Similar buying experience as others - what could have been a fairly painless and somewhat enjoyable process (after all, we were buying our first camper!) was disappointing and even turned contentious. Examples included pricing that changed between multiple salesmen and feeling like there was a bait-and-switch of equipment between the time I first saw the unit and when it was "delivered." I drove 100 miles each way for a scheduled delivery appointment and still had to wait almost 45 minutes after I arrived to meet with anybody. Neither salesman showed up at all and I got to spend a few minutes with a sales manager only after insisting on it. However, he didn't seem to care at all about my concerns and simply said "take it or leave it" when presented with the equipment issues. (This CW location evidently does very high sales volumes, so you can get a decent deal there if you know exactly what you're looking for - we therefore took the deal.) Obtaining financing was easy enough, but the terms were not very attractive at all, and they sent the wrong address to the bank, so we never received any information regarding the loan and it took multiple phone calls and e-mails to straighten things out. They also never sent our application for a title and registration to the state, so as the temporary license plate was nearing expiration, I had to contact CW yet again for assistance - 3 phone calls and voicemail messages over the course of 4 business days just to get a reply. Unfortunately, there's some really basic stuff that they simply didn't do well - or at all! read more

Unfortunately my experience with this place was terrible and no one seems to care. I have reached out to try and talk to the branch manager, left voicemails, nothing gets returned. Only decent guy at his job who seems to work there is my sales guy Mike. Either way, these are just a few of the main things that went wrong. The highlights are them selling me a used battery as new, not refunding me, not issuing the title/registration to the DMV in time so I would have expired plates on a roadtrip and also not giving a crap in general. Here's a breakdown of my experience there: -I couldn't get a finance manager to call me back the week I was buying it (6 unreturned phone calls). I had no idea what my interest rate was, how much I was suppose to be paying a month, none of that. I guess since it was just a 13k purchase they didn't really care. -Despite multiple messages and emails they still thought I was using a weight distributed hitch and fitted me with a riser that not only didn't match my car and but was actually dangerous a trucker told. I also had to have the finance manager rewrite the contract. They also had me put 3k down when on the phone they told me 2 -Got sold a USED battery AS NEW that was from 2017. I paid 125 plus tax for a NEW battery. It gave out in the middle of the desert in Arizona and caused quite a pain in the ass as I had no idea what was wrong. The 125 returned to me didn't cover any of my time, effort or work that I had to put in to install a battery I shouldn't have needed -The finance manager or whoever gave my info to the bank gave the wrong phone number and also added a random phone number to the account. -Probably the most important, is that the registration and title weren't done on time. I went to the DMV and talked to them, and they told me that it wouldn't be issued in time. Your title/registration team is given the ability to give me 60 day permit because it gives your team up to 30 days to send it the DMV and the DMV 30 days to process it. It took Camping World well over 30 days to get it to the DMV. I had to pay and re-register for a temporary permit and now have to have a friend pick it up and mail it to me some how on a 40 day road trup because Camping World couldn't get their stuff together. I asked if this was rare for it to take this long and she said yes, it is on the seller to get it to them in a reasonable amount of time. If anyone is actually reading this, please give me a call at your earliest convenience. You can find out who I am by talking with Mike. Do not leave a generic call me if you have issues. Bought a Maxx fan and wanted it installed. Made the appointment to get it installed. Came in the day of the appointment they told me it would be ready the next day at noon. They had a set price of $125 but told me that price could change if extra wiring is needed. So I showed up at 2pm the next day and they hadn't even started the job yet. So I was told to comeback towards closing time and it would be ready. So I left for a while then I get a phone call that it will cost an extra 1.25 hours of time for wiring at 130 dollars an hour. I new they hadn't checked for wiring so I pointed out I had already checked for wiring it was right by the vent. So I saved that extra money. Do not trust these people they will try to rob you. Do not trust this service dept. Shoddy work, shoddy people. My in-law's camper was booked in advance for service work. They lied and said the work was started when in fact the parts were not even ordered. They lied and lied, it took 3 weeks to get the camper back and its leaking water so badly out the back the water can't even be used!! No communication, no customer service. Don't trust Camping World or Good Sam! We bought a new trailer from Camping World Longmont in May of 2018. In July of 2019 we sold the trailer. I have been trying to contact someone to process refunds on the Good Sam Roadside Assistance, Good Sam Travel Assist, The Good Sam Tire and Wheel Service Contract, Good Sam Extended Service Plan and the First Place Finish Warranty since we no longer own the trailer! Since July 16, I have called and emailed many Camping World and Good Sam employees. (Scott Folkman, Tony Bova, Marcus@GoodSam). I've even tried calling the Camping World in Colorado Springs. I get forwarded to someone in finance and no one ever answers or returns the call. I did speak to someone at Good Sam who says that we have to go through the dealer for the refund, since we bought the plans from Camping World with a new trailer. Our experience with Camping World Service was just as ridiculous. Never ready on time, delays in parts, work not completed, constant change over in service advisors. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional business. They got our money and now will do nothing! Finally got a call! They are sending me cancellation forms! Possibly the WORST service I have ever encountered, and I'm old. We bought a new 2017 RV, we wanted to add several high end items to the RV, The cost of the items was over 5K. We were assured by sales and parts that it would not be an issue getting everything installed in a timely manner. Well that didn't happen. The people who work at this Longmont store must be the most un-happy workers in Colorado. They don't care about their work or how they treat customers. And they are rude, and allowed to carry on that way by the management. I'll get to that issue through the CW board of directors. On calling to check the progress of the installation of accessories, after the first week, the staff has always disconnected between department and are kinda rude. One department blamed the other when nothing gets done. So finding out that after one full week after paying for the accessories, nothing had been done, I was angry. They said they were waiting on parts. Out of 25 items, there were two items that were not in stock. Only one of those items needed to be installed. So they could have proceeded with all the others but used it as an excuse to ignore the work. I complained, and was treated rudely. I tried to contain my anger, and called both the GM of CW Longmont, and the Service Manager. All I got was voice messaging. I asked both to call, it has been several weeks, still no call from either. They must be cowardly as well as bad managers. On more than one occasion I have been hung up on while they were "checking" the status of my service, didn't answer on call backs, transferred me to someone else's voice mail so that that person wouldn't call me back. Hopefully the CW board of directors will be a little more responsive to get the problems at CW Longmont resolved. read more

We bought a new Winnebago 2017 View in AZ. Had some issues. Longmont camping world was very helpful. When we dropped off the vehicle Cameron, service writer, went out to the vehicle, took comprehensive notes on each concern we had, and took a few minutes to quickly show me how to set TV channels which I couldn't quite get. They fixed our water leak, checked the air conditioner and made a few more warranty adjustments within the scheduled block of time. When we picked up the RV Joey, service writer, went thru each item and explained what was fixed. During that process, Troy, the service manager, joined us and helped us replace our leaking leaking hose. He noticed that, although the air conditioner was working, it wasn't cooling sufficiently. They requested that Casper, one of the service techs, join us. It was determined that the covers on the air conditioner were rotated improperly (by the factory) and it wasn't venting correctly. Without their determination and expertise that improvement in cooling would have been missed. Joey then made an adjustment to the balanced owed since the air conditioner diagnosis and repair was, in fact, covered by warranty and "made it right." It seemed to us that all involved enjoyed working together, were conscientious and took pride in providing excellent customer service. We highly recommend the service department. read more

Wow! What a terrible service department. Plus there is evidently no such thing as service after the sale. Once we purchased our trailer and had issues with it, all under warranty I might add, the salesperson, Tami, wouldn't return my calls and offered no assistance with getting my trailer back from the shop. The whole process for getting service is very strange. I called to make an appointment and drop the trailer off and I was told to bring it in in three weeks. I had assumed that meant the day I dropped it off they would look at the trailer. Nope. When I arrived to drop the trailer off with the service guy, Peter, I was told it would be 10 to 14 days before anyone would look at it! What? I also asked if they could take a look at the hitch while it was in the shop. I was told I'd have to leave the tow vehicle, they'd have to charge me if there was nothing wrong, blah, blah, blah. All I was asking for was to have an experienced eye look at it. Get it - to just look at it? Maybe that would take 30 seconds to LOOK AT IT and see if it looked normal to them. Once they finally looked at the trailer they acknowledged there was something wrong with the axle and needed repairs. So they submitted a claim to Jayco. Jayco denied the claim and told Camping World the claim should have gone to the trailer manufacturer Dexter. So this now adds another week or so to the process. The guy who was directly responsible for the repairs, Joey, told me the Camping World warranty department, whatever the hell that is, made the mistake. He also told me on the phone that once Dexter approved the claim he would "expedite" getting the parts so it could get repaired right away. So I call back again a few days later and he informs me that the claim was approved but it could be one to two weeks to get the parts! I asked about the "expedite" promise and he tells me he never said that to me. The guy flat out lied to me. And here's the last straw - I called Dexter directly to get info on the parts shipment and they checked the tracking number and found the parts had been delivered at 9:00 am that morning. The guy had the parts and as of 1:00 pm he didn't know it. I had to tell him the parts were at his shop. Please do not buy your trailer here and absolutely DO NOT let them do any service work. There are other dealers just north of this location. read more

Predatory dealership with high pressure sales and unfair business practices. Just a few comments: 1. Told me I could not get advertised price unless I financed through them and that 7 payments minimum were required. 2. Would not provide cost statement ahead of scheduled closing date. 3. Did not disclose add-on costs and terms of financing before closing/delivery. 4. Added "hail damaged" to contract at closing. 5. Could not get a service appointment to fix 5 warranty issues for 8 weeks. 6. Service dept never answers phone. 7. Will not respond to requests for cancellation of extended service, road side assistance, tire and wheel protection. Wish I had never purchased from them. read more

Customer service - HORRIBLE! Repairs - WORSE and rude! We bought a New Greyhawk and have had nothing but problems with it since. Take it in for warranty work several times and it sits for MONTHS and then we travel across the USA and the same problems occur. Now we have found out from FORD and Specialists that wrong parts were used, forced into place and not even wired properly. Other problems previously reported and allegedly fixed still inoperative. (Only thing ever fixed right was the AC we will give 'em that one). BEWARE of this place, although talking to other RVers around the country - BEWARE of all Camping Worlds! They love to sell you one - but not take care of you or it after! read more

We bought a BRAND NEW RV from them and it started leaking right away, the tv was missing remotes, the stove had a crack, the trailer break they installed didn't work, the back up camera is looking upwards, the batteries do not hold a charge, the list goes on and on... I have called both the managers and service department for days and left multiple messages. NO ONE will return my calls. Worst customer service ever! read more
