I wouldn't recommend doing business here. They refused to sell us the original RV we looked at, and then pitched us on a unit that was $10,000 more (bait and switch). Just came from here and my family's experience was 10+ STARS! From the moment you walk in you're greeted at the front door by smiling faces. We went straight to the bathroom for my daughter, and when we came out we signed in at the front. Then CHLOE and DULLY whisked us away to see the model we were interested in! We LOVED it and they also shared a few more options that aligned with what we were looking for. I am SO glad we came here, because the reviews almost scared us away! They gave us cold water bottles too and answered all of our questions! We come back Saturday for pick-up, and we financed through them as well no problem! The store part is also HUGE to shop any needed accessories, etc. David (from Cincy) took care of our financing and was very professional with handling our down payment, etc. THANK YOU ALL for such an exceptional experience and service!!!! read more

Our whole experience was just unbelievable. I was promised multiple vehicles within my price range but when we got there, most were unavailable and the ones they had were problematic so they kept trying to up-sale. We discussed at least 5 vehicles and none met the standard! After traveling 2 and a half hours ours to tour, I was let down big time. read more

The reviews speak for themselves and the overall ratings tell you not to spend your $$ here or waste your time. Under no circumstances should you sell or trade in your RV here and expect above board dealings. The reviews clearly show post purchase service to be abhorrent. If you do a sell or trade in with them, expect the "inspection" to turn up issues that aren't issues and in some cases expect them to "find" major flaws that were 100% not there when you dropped your RV off for inspection. Document your RV clearly before you hand it over and then demand to be part of the inspection process. Under no circumstances should you do business here. Buyer beware. Our 2024 Timberwolf from Camping World has been a nightmare from day one. Due to incorrectly installed factory seals, the unit floods every time it rains. We now have significant mold growth and a failing electrical system that is a major fire hazard. Warranty company denies all claims for the camper and has said it is because of a hurricane, knowing the camper has only been in middle Tennessee the entire time. Their own technician told us this unit never should have been sold in this condition, yet Camping World has refused to take any responsibility in fixing their poor workmanship issues. On top of the physical defects, our paperwork contains incorrect model information and fake email addresses. Extremely unprofessional and unsafe. Avoid Camping world! read more

He showed us only what we had inquired about online. We asked for other options available and were told there weren't any. When working on the financing, there was no working to it. Even the vin number was the same except for last 2 numbers. I sent several emails to request my deposit. I never heard back. I have since called evey week and no one is ever available. So much went well...This is my 1st rig purchase ever. And it's a Montana mid-bunk model. As this was the 1st, I went all in having heard about the Montana owners and their support and knowledge base. To ensure continuous hot water in this Montana I added a tankless water heater which was installed @ CW. Love it. The store was well-stocked, clean, and tidy. This made products easy to locate. The staff also took the time to hear our complaints about Good Sam's Roadside Assistance, and directed us to the person who could hear our story. Long story short, we had had some unprofessional, unproductive, and frankly, awful experiences while on the road. We were stuck three times with different issues and RA never showed! So we were not going to renew our Platinum membership, and wanted a refund for our plan. The staff told us to contact Marcus, and so we did! Marcus passed our case to Will who passed our case to the very patient, very kind, very polite and compassionate, Joe Ferguson. I pulled in with an emergency and I broken wheel bearing on a trailer only to be greeted in service department by yeah what do you want when I stated what I need it some older gentleman in the back stated. we are booked way out. We can't help you move your trailer out of our lane. No courtesy, no kindness. Nothing just attitude I pulled the truck traileraround to the front to go ask for a manager when I entered the young man that seen me leave angry never said a word inside the building was sitting there, laughing about it with the manager, to which I looked and stated I'm the one you're talking about the manager changed his tune real quick and stated that was an inappropriate conversation to have in publicand started talking to me. We stepped outside where I showed him the issue. He said he was the general manager and then corrected himself and said he said it was a sales manager. I don't know what role he played. nice guy see what he could do came back said sorry there's nothing we can do for you. Could you please move your trailer to the parking lot next-door and call a mobile mechanic, really you're going to turn away business that's guaranteed to fix a wheel bearing and tell me to go to a mobile mechanic as of now I'm done with good Sam's. Male salesperson showed up and said we are closed, didn't see you. Had the coax cable in my hand, had to give it back and had to leave. after buying a brand new camper, I had to have work done on it. Kept my camper for two months and when I went to pick it up, only a couple things fixed on it go back again. Ended up selling camper and needed to cancel my extended warranty. Finance manager dodged me for two weeks so I had to drive an hour and a half to the store to actually get the paperwork needed to cancel my extended warranty sent over 15 emails and 30 phone calls to try to get this done with no success bought a brand new camper at another dealership not affiliated with camping world. Camping world in Nashville replaced my shower did not seal the drain it leaked Shower water into the the belly of my 5th wheel in the video you can see it running right out of the drain less than a year ago took it in they said we didn't touch any plumbing I tried to ask them how they replaced the shower without removing the drain from the old shower without touching any of the plumbing they told me to shut up and they would not be arguing with me about this that they did nothing wrong told me to file a insurance claim so I did and my insurance is going after them for the damage don't let these people bully you. And they told me they would not be taking care of it I waited 3 weeks for my appointment they have had it almost 2 weeks the inverter got wet and shorted out there having warranty by another one for there screw up I hope the warranty company reads this review and they told me that they would not be working on my 5th wheel no more I went to general manager he said we were at a in pass that they were not at fault I went outside called corporate they tried to call the general he would not accept the call di they told me they were getting in touch with Reginald Manager and they would get back with me so far no one had contacted me......I will never do any thing else with this company and if you read all the reviews on this company you want either. Then the wrong price posted. Never communicated with me the whole time it was there (was told they would update me). When the contract expired no one notified me. I had to call 3 times to have Stacy finally call me back. She was clueless to what was going on. I had to inform her of the wrong price, year and that the listing expired. Worst place ever! This is the worst RV repair shop around. They took our fifth wheel to repair a leak. They could not find where the leak was and just stopped work on it. After 4 months of trying to get it fixed, they finally called and told me I could pick it up, The repair was so bad, they did not replace the trim in several places and they also broke clips on the bay doors off. The service technician was very rude. We spent 18k on the repair and I definitely would not recommend this pace to fix anything. read more

The only issue was the lady at the desk. Working with Bowling Green camping world service department makes one want to quit RVing after over 30 years! They have lied to me from the start. Told me to drop off on Sunday. They put it in front of the garage door and said they would get to it first thing Monday morning. Several calls to them finally two weeks later they say they figure out the problem. So I confirm with them they had turned batteries off and had secured the slide so that my motorhome was safe and no water would get in it. After checking Saturday I found out that was a lie. It's so hard to business with someone that constantly tells you a lie. Once you lose trust, you don't know if anything that you're telling you is true. Even makes you wonder if they have the capability or the knowledge to fix your problem. read more

All I can say is with so many poor reviews how can a corporate office continue to obviously ignore these issues. I will not bore you with my long story as you can read any of the one star reviews below and see pretty much some or all of what I am and have been dealing with. Stay as far away from this place as you can. I will make sure anyone and everyone that asks me about my RV will know my experiences with this Camping World, the service manager Doug, and the general manager, who decided he was going to tell me what to do instead of listening to me as the customer , he obviously mistook me for an employee or a child of his that he can tell what to do. Should be funny to see if he acts the same way with our attorney. On a quick added note, the manufacturer of our RV (Nexus) has been bending over backwards to try and help resolve the issues. Camping World should take some lessons from them. FYI: FreedomRoads LLC is the parent company of Camping World. I found the reading on the BBB website to be very interesting and tell tale of how they appear to operate. Wish I had seen it sooner. read more

Update time: June 21, 2024, Forest River told corporate that we could pick up the RV today. (I had called the VIP corporate number multiple times this week as we never can make contact or get answers with Forest River Nashville). My husband confirmed that it was fixed twice before driving from Fort Campbell to Forest River RV Nashville by Camping World after I received the voicemail it was ready from corporate. My husband explained that he wanted to do a walk through to check before driving it all the way back home and surprise no one would help him or do it. Guess why because it's still not fixed. My husband discovered this as he tried to hook it up and check on his own at the dealership. "Chris" the sales manager who I called furious said that it was my husbands fault because he didn't make sure they wrote line for line on the invoice each thing. "Chris" told my husband it was Marks fault because he didn't write line for line on the service order, Who actually knows if the hot water, outlets, or outdoor lights are working as the kitchen appliances and outlets continue having issues. Doesn't leave me confident. When I explained to "Chris" that we had a trip next weekend and would need a rental RV. Chris told me that I wouldn't be getting one of those over fuses. They actually encouraged my husband to go ahead and take the RV and bring it back after our next trip still broken. I don't think so, he left it and it continues to stay on the lot. "Chris" explained to me that since it had been on a camping trip it's not considered new any longer. Guess at 6 weeks of ownership purchased brand new we should expect electrical problems and no hot water or lights by "Chris" standards as it it's no longer new. So where are we at, RV is still at the dealership. "Chris" might have the worse customer service of any individual I have experienced in 41 years. I am going to see JAG Monday because we can't be the only military family that Forest River Nashville by Camping World has sold a lemon too and continues to not fix. So maybe with documentation we can save others from being taken advantage of by bringing light to the continued failures of this dealership by JAG as a buyer beware/stay away. The glass half full. I encourage anyone dealing with "Chris" or Forest River Nashville by Camping world to reach out to the camping world VIP number. The people we have encountered on our multiple calls over the weeks to the VIP number have been amazing (Chris could learn a thing or two). If this does ever get fixed I believe it will be because of the kindness, empathy, and compassion of the people we've encountered through the VIP number. I'll end by saying "Chris" said it will be fixed Monday and they will call. I doubt that at this point after the way he spoke to me and about my husband to me today it will. "Chris" needs to learn to value people's time, maybe he should drive it back to us since my husband will be gone on a training up until our trip since time is a luxury some of us don't have. Questionable Financial Practices I spoke with a member of Nashville, Tn.'s Camping World about buying my camper from me. They recommend placing it on consignment to get more money. It was a 60 day period and they sold it in a little over 2 weeks, I think! I really don't know for sure. The website showed a 'Deal Pending' status. I called and was told they were working a deal and would keep me posted. I then got a call from CW wanting to know if I could lower my financial portion to help the deal proceed. I agreed to drop the price $1000. The next day I got a call stating I needed to "pay down the $1000 on the lien to make the deal go through, they are trying to finalize it now." I had the money electronically transferred for immediate posting. I waited for a week with no information. I checked the website again which showed sale pending. I checked online for some info about the camper and found it, my camper for sale with another seller. The same pictures were even used that CW took and posted. I contacted them and they said a deal had been made but it would not be delivered until the following week's end. I pushed the issue about my portion of the money and was told not until it's delivered. I was transferred to finance who told me the camper had actually already been sold and delivered the previous week. The general manager stepped in and explained we I should be happy it sold so quickly. I said I was but needed my money. It was the money credited from a warranty company for almost $3000. It was supposed to come straight to me, but it had to be released to the lien holder first. I understood that and was told CW would get the check which would in turn be forwarded to me since they would maintain the selling price minus the warranty money. I kept checking to see if the balance had been paid, but it hadn't. The deal was over a week completed at this point. CW said they usually get a 10 day payoff and transfer the money electronically. Well the 10 time went past and still not paid with another payment. Ok'ing due, which I would be responsible for. I emailed the General Manager again, who did not respond, but the next day, which was over the 10 days to payoff, magically had been paid. The amount was less the exact amount I'm owed for the cancellation of the warranties. My wife called and was told they hold that money until the actual title is in their hands, then they cut me a check. Now remember, we've already been told the ENTIRE amount went to the lien holder, then to us. They have my money even though they said they would not. We called and asked for the GM, the finance manager our anyone else that could explain why I was not entitled to to my money that was from a warranty company, not the actual Leon holder that they had paid off. "We just don't do that according to Corporate Policy." If you decide to do business with this company, be prepared , because my experience has been nerve racking. I've learned my lesson though. I won't do business with CW ever again, and will tell everyone I know, the FACTUAL events they put us through. We were told we could contact corporate and they would just send it back to the local people we had been dealing with. Shame on you CAMPING WORLD NASHVILLE! read more

I bought a brand new Montana from Camping World and when I pulled it home to Smyrna TN I noticed that it wasn't staying in the lane behind my truck it was pulling to the right side. I called them when I arrived home and told them they needed to send someone to see what was wrong with unit and finally a service technician came out the next day. I had already determined that the wheels were not in alignment as they were just over half inch differing with tires and wheels from the left side and right. Camping World sent another driver to retrieve the unit the next week. After taking more measurements in Nashville they determined that the unit wasn't square at all and something was definitely wrong on many asäpof the camper. Knowing they couldn't fix it, they referred it to the manufacturer. Now my camper is in limbo at the factory and camping world is not returning my calls. Prior to this they did inform me that they were not responsible and couldn't help me. No offer was made to make it right like an exchange or my money given back. All I get is silence from them. If you want a camper stay away from these clowns, they will take your money and forget about you as soon as you leave. Any lawyers want to make a name for yourself I'll help you out. Oh, and the guy Markus who says if you're not happy he's not either is just another lip service ‍ clown, I called his office several times and they tell you they will get back with an answer within 24-48 hours, they never called me back. Two days ago Camping World in Nashville,TN installed a new awning on my RV, they had me pay over $1,100.00 upfront. Today was Sat. so I put the awning out to have a look. These pictures show the damage they did to the mounting channel, the awning fabric, and the gouge in the side of the RV itself. It sure looks like they didn't know what they were doing! I can't imagine treating a customer that way!! It is now Thursday night. They said they would order a new mounting channel and install it when it arrived. But when I asked them to replace brand new the fabric (which they installed as part of the original $1,100+ job) because of the damage they did and say they would not charge me for parts and labor they did not respond. read more

So this is our second camper from camping world. We didn't have the first one very long because we upgraded to a larger. The service is terrible the quality is terrible. They've had our camper for a month and trying to do repairs. The parts they ordered a month ago weren't right. Doesn't anybody check them... we went to get pick it up today the workmanship was awful. Black grease all over the sink and they didn't even sweep up anything that they might've repaired or cut. This is only the half of what we've been thru. UPDATE: I am lowering this review from 2 starts to only 1 star. After I posted this I got an immediate reply. I was called the next morning. They were going to send a repair tech to my home so I didn't have to haul my 5th wheel back to the store. He showed up and seemed very knowledgeable. He knew they had installed a new cooling unit but the fridge still didn't work. After some trouble shooting he discovered a fuse inside the back of the fridge was out and the thermistor wasn't working properly. Makes sense why it wouldn't work on shore power and wouldn't stay cool. I was happy that it only took him less than an hour to identify all the issues but makes my wonder what was being done while my trailer sat on their lot for 5 weeks. I figured it would take 2-3 weeks for the part to come in and we would be good to go. It has now been 6 weeks (for a total of 11+ weeks) and this is still not fixed. I was told more than a week ago the part was in but I am still waiting on them to show up and actually fix this. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT AGAIN. Nashville camping world he is very good customer service but their prices are outrageous $165 an hour for a technician is extremely high for someone you take your vehicle to that's not coming to your home.
