All of the staff from Clothing, Sales, Parts, and service are absolutely kind-professional- and helpful. I have got 2 bikes fr this store. Please allow me to explain. See I came home from war in 2010 and was told I would never for sure run again, and possibly ever walk again let alone walk normal and without a cane. Well after surgery and a lot of help from doctors I can walk. I have my good and bad days. But I sold my 2010 in 2014. I could not ride a new toy I got after the war. Well after all the treatments and help, I thought I would give it a try and got a bike. It was the perfect fit for my needs at that time. I traded that one off and got a new one. You know, something more for the long rides. I used the same sales person both times. Look I have back issues and issues with my legs. So I can't ride forever like I could in the good old days when my body wasn't all messed up. But I love my bike and what little I can ride, I feel alive again. This store made it happen. This store has cool sales and treats customer's great. They have bands some times in the summer, corn roasts and sloppy Joes. Beers and soda. You name it. There is always something happening. If u like to ride, get on their email list so u know when cool stuff is going down. For example: this coming Saturday is their St Patrick sale. 15% off select stuff. First 200 people get a chance at a price of gift card. You get the idea. As stated, I am a veteran. Any parts of clothing that is not on sale, show your gov issued ID, VA card or you military ID and this store will give you 10% off. Also for every buck you spend you earn points for money. The points don't expire. So say you store your baby over the winter with their storage program and put some money into your bike...you will have a little money sitting on record that u can use to get that new part, or clothing item u had your eye on. I have met the owner of this store when I traded off my first bike and got the second one. It was a busy time of year but that was a nice personal touch. If my health needs change and I have to go to a trike, u know where I will buy it from. If you go to Vandervest Harley to get a new or used bike, u will not regret it. Disappointing Service Experience--Three Years Running…read more After three consecutive years of having my boat serviced at Mr Outboard, I can no longer recommend their service department. Here's a summary of my experience: Year 1: Routine service and winterization. When launching in the spring, the bilge pump activated after five minutes. Service rep Vinny laughed and suggested we forgot the plug. Told him plug was in. He stated he must have cracked out hull then--turns out, the impeller clean-out seal was improperly installed. I ended up buying a $900 borescope to diagnose it myself. Year 2: Same service, with a promise of a thorough check by two top techs. Launched the boat, and the oil pressure light came on almost immediately. Vinny again responded dismissively, saying we must not have let the boat warm up and we cracked the engine block--blaming us for the problem. Found the oil filter O-ring in the hull--clear evidence the promised checks weren't completed. Year 3: Boat trailer and cover were damaged during service. The general manager, Greg, promised to resolve it but never followed up despite multiple calls. After posting a review, Marty (damage control) called and offered a partial reimbursement ($1,450 of $3,548 in actual costs) with the explanation that they would not cover the full amount due to their own financial losses. I was told pursuing the rest would cost more in legal fees than it was worth. Despite assurances, Mr Outboard failed to stand behind their work or take full responsibility for the damage they caused. I would strongly caution others considering their services.
