I had this t-shirt stamp card if you bought 10 shirts get the 11th free. So I had 2 shirts to buy. And I was going to 3 shirts. Supposly they stopped using in March 2017. I called last week & talked with a Manager & they bring it in. We will honor it. Wrong! I went there today & the manager that was wrong but. We can give you $8 off. On Monday March 6th, 2017 I walked into the Campus Den in the Lansing mall. I immediately started to notice I was being followed around by a couple employees and then about 5 minutes later by a security guard that was called. When I left the security guard did as well. I asked the security guard why I was being followed and he said "they were just being cautious". This didn't seem right to me so I called the store and a girl named Taylor picked up and I asked her the same question and her response was "you were caught on surveillance at our meridian store steeling and I personally have had an altercation with you in the past. You can continue to shop here but if you do you will continue to be followed the entire time". I interacted with this person one time before and there was no altercation AT ALL besides her horrible customer service. After she accused me of steeling, I went back in the store and asked to see this so called "footage of me steeling". Her and the store manager Kristen went in the back to "find the footage" and didn't come out for an hour. Their hopes were that I would just leave the store so they waited in the back but after they realized that was not going to happen. They finally came out and said legally they can not show me anything. So after waiting an hour and a half I left the store embarrassed, harassed, accused of being a thief, accused of having an altercation with a person I have met once and they gave me no answers to the reason why. I called corporate and talked to a lady named Katie. I told her the whole story and she was clearly not concerned. I am 29 and personally have never dealt wit a situation like this before in my entire life and I hope no one else ever has to because being accused of being a thief for no reason isn't a good feeling when you are an honest person and have never stollen in your entire life. This was a store I would stop in every time I would go to the mall but I will no longer be shopping here and I will urge everyone I know to stay away from this store as well. It is crazy to me that something like this could happen and they would feel no need to make it right because if it were the company I work for immediate action would have been taken but this company clearly has very poor management. Im not sure why this "Taylor" girl felt the need to harass me but it sure was the worst experience I have ever had in a retail store so I guess she succeeded. read more
