I agree with the other reviews that say this place is a hidden gem! I believe it was closed for a bit but now it has reopened? My partner has been coming here since was a child! It's one of those places in Belgravia that I've always been meaning to try but haven't gotten a chance until now! I love how they cut the pizza into small slices! We got the spinach/cheese for me and a meat lovers pizza for my partner and in-laws. The pizza was delicious! The service was super quick and they were ready with our pizzas when we arrived. We were about 15 minutes late (pre-ordered) but it was still all good. Also, I recommend asking for a side of donair sauce - it makes the best dip for pizza! Yum! read more

Let's keep this short and sweet. Campus Pizza is a random little pizza joint located in the McKernan neighbourhood. The closest restaurant it's by is Bistro 76, which I haven't been to since it re-branded from Enzo's. Slightly off the main path of 76 Avenue, blink and you'll miss it. We decided to grab a pizza for takeout on an early Wednesday afternoon. Takeout is the way to go - the inside is pretty shabby so I wouldn't bother staying here to eat. I was a bit surprised to see two older Asian gentleman running the pizza joint - can't say you see that too often in Edmonton. The menu if you want to take a look. There's seven pizzas to choose from unless you want to customize your own 1/2/3 topping pizza. Heck, there's even donairs here. They apparently ran out of takeout menus even though they had just opened up for the day. Interesting... House special pizza ($21.50) - pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, pineapple, black olives and bacon. A medium (12") is good enough for eight slices and can probably fill up two people. We ate about 3/4 of our pizza and then saved the last two slices for another day. What to say about the house special? Crust was decent with a nice crunch but the more you moved into the center of the pizza, the soggier it became. In a nutshell, this is "Canadianized" pizza. Thick, greasy, cheese overload. Expect mediocre, run of the mill taste. Not my type. For $20, I'll try my luck at another pizza joint in town. read more

I haven't lived in Edmonton 17 years and STILL...every now and again...I crave and long for the uniqueness that IS...Campus 'zzaaaaa!!! It's old school with old school prices! Old school crust. Tangy tomato sauce. And old school browned mozzarella cheese as it's crown! I lived with three roommates back then and well, let's just say that we ordered our fair share of CP and to my surprise...bored and isolated...I looked my fave pizza joint up and tickled to see it still open! I was also a big fan of Pharoah's....specifically, the Popeye. I understand it's gone now but if I were to compare Campus to any other pizza palace, it'd be Pharoah's. Campus Pizza is definitely a hidden gem in the city. They're located off 112 St & 76 Ave and offer the best pizza in the city. Service was prompt and friendly, and the pizza had ample fresh toppings and flavour! Go for the house pizza, and sink your teeth into a layer of sweet tomato sauce bubbling atop ropy cheese, peppers, olives, meats and thick, doughy crust. I love this pizza. Love love love it. Why have I never reviewed this wicked pizza before? My affair with this place started many moons ago, back when I lived in a basement suite across the street from it. I tried it once on a whim, just got a small for pickup - and I have NEVER looked back. Every time I am in Edmonton, I want this pizza. Every time I move to a city, I start a new quest to find Campus style pizza. This was the only take out pizza I would get - 73/dominoes/panago, none of them matter in Edmonton. Just Campus. What is it about this pizza? I don't know exactly, but it is my favorite and everyone I know that's tried it loves it. So much cheese, awesome sauce and just the right crust. This is one of those kind of country style pizza places (If you want authentic or artisan style pizza - this isn't it). Getting an XL? It comes cut in squares because this thing is so hefty. I love the classics from this place. I ALWAYS get Hawaiian. I just freaking love it. Other choices I liked to rock are the cheese pizza or the pepperoni. This pizza is always baked to perfection, arrives piping hot if you live in the delivery area and steams up my car with the best aromas ever if I do pick up. This is the kind of pizza where the cheese gets all stringy when you lift up a slice. Are the leftovers good? So good there have been fights that have occurred over this, folks throwing down their best greasy eye to claim ownership of what remains. And what about those weasles that go so far as to wake up in the night or extra early just to bogart the last slice of ham n' pineapple. Oh, it's good. I say - try it, I doubt you'll be disappointed. Ohmmm all the noms!!! Husband and I are sick of chain places for pizza. We have pizza a lot (something I don't want to admit) but we are always up for a slice. Hubby was searching around the Internet and came upon Campus Pizza. We ordered a Greek pizza. Lots of cheese, feta and spinach. Omg it was good. Their crust is crispy, yet soft enough to devour. The toppings are plentiful and super tasty. Even heated up later on, it was deeeelish!! Word to the consumer though.... It seems like within the last week or so (June 2016) they have registered with Just Eat. If you go through the app, there is an $8 delivery fee. Just give Campus Pizza a call (780-434-4414) and speak to them directly. I'd rather that $8 go to Campus Pizza (staff, drivers, etc) than to Just Eat. They've got really good pizza, made with fresh ingredients, and made fresh at the moment you order. It's sooooo good when it's fresh out of the oven! Also, the owners are super friendly! It's a small place and in a location that can be easily overlooked, but seriously give it try, you won't be disappointed!!! I know it seems like I always have a new go-to Pizza Delivery place every time I review one, but I think that as long as Campus Pizza can maintain reasonable delivery times and be open when I need them to be, I will order from them. Pizza is similar to Royal's, but has a smaller assortment of toppings. I want to say that the crust and cheese are more flavourful. And the prices haven't changed since 2003, which means they're substantially less expensive than Royal as well. Sadly, Campus Pizza closes at 8 or 9, which means they can't fulfill any late night cravings. Oh well. read more

I've only ordered delivery through Skip The Dishes so this review is solely based on their pizza, but I am so glad to say I have found a new favorite pizza place! I have been searching for my "perfect" pizza since moving to Edmonton a few months ago and have tried quite a few places, but none were what I was looking for until Campus Pizza! Campus pizza is mainly a take-out and delivery pizza place (there are a handful of chairs and tables, bit really just for waiting for your order). The pizza is late 20th century style: thick crust, heavy on the cheese, lots of tomato sauce, basic North American toppings (pepperoni, ham, mushrooms olives, etc.). Their spinach and feta pizza is about as far from old-fashioned as they get, and it's great. But their pepperoni and mushroom pizza is fantastic. Schmeh. The first time I went in, the two people behind the counter stared at me and didn't say a word. I looked at the hours sign and realized they were closing in 10 minutes. Fine. They could have politely said so instead of the blank stare. The second time I tried, I ordered and got pizza delivered. The delivery guy was nice enough - polite and timely. This is the best pizza bang for your buck I've found in Edmonton. It is a hole-in-the-wall place so don't expect to sit down and eat there - though there are a couple of small tables. The crust is just right (not too thick, not too thin), the sauce is delicious, the toppings are fresh and generous, and there's loads of cheese. Nothing fancy or gourmet, just great pizza. My favourites are pepperoni-green peppers- mushroom, and the donair pizzas. Oh yeah, and 5 percent off for pickup. read more

Apparently the owner has a regular customer he doesn't want to lose. My Wife, Son and Iwent into the restaurant and decided to eat in. The owner had a regular customer come in and order a pizza for take out. While he waited he proceeded to burp and fart. The first couple of times we didn't say anything but, after burping loudly twice and farting three times we decided to say something. We said this is a food establishment and what you are doing is extremely rude and you should take pride in yourself more than that. The customer started yelling saying f___ you and you need to f___ off. The owner did nothing. The guys pizza was ready and instead of apologizing to us for what was going on in his restaurant he said I am sorry to the farter. The guy said that's OK, I will see you in a couple of days. Let me tell you I I came to the website to write a review for campus pizza. But first I read one and it appeared to be negative on the contrary campus pizzas this is actually the only pizza that I can eat completely every piece without getting tired of the pizza sauces every bite delicious. I just order pepperoni and cheese every time for a nooner special it only cost $10 but I am telling you the truth. Good pizza ! You know how sometimes when you order a pizza and you kind of get tired of the slices because the sauce too much for something ? Well not campus pizza! The only pizza place in town where I absolutely delight in finishing the whole pizza. I hate I hate to say it but the other day I tried Chicago deep dish pizza I paid 30 bucks but it was garbage the next two days later I ordered campus again and wow! Send the fine Asian gentleman behind the counter very polite and very pleasant! So thanks again campus, until my next pizza goodbye! read more
