As an artist/woodworker sometimes I like to do weird stuff. That weird stuff occasionally leads me to FedEx for their printing service. I love this FedEx location because the staff are always friendly,and very knowledgable about their products and services. On this particular trip I needed to print a 3foot unicorn template from and image on my phone. Monday, June 17th, at 6 PM. I went in to do some work. I began using the printer for business-related things. And after I had again completed them, I pulled them out of the machine and realized that the printer must have been going out of ink because it printed very poorly. I brought these copies up to the front and stood in the middle between 2 different cashiers. One of them was busy, so I turned to the young lady instead, saying, "Are you free down there?" She completely ignored me, which was pretty embarrassing because customers (a total of 2 in the store) were looking at me, and her peers were staring at her. Then back at me. To fill the awkward silence, I said, "Excuse me, ma'am?" Without hesitation or without looking up, she responds, "I am busy right now!" Abruptly and with a spicy tone. I told her that that wasn't very courteous, but to no prevail. She continued in silence with her head down. I left without getting my money back or having the work redone and in a sad mood. I never want to see her face again. read more

Good service - supplies were well stocked - cute cards to choose from. I've been frequenting this location of FedEx for years and have always found it to be convenient. Parking is readily available out front and I don't ever have to wait more than a few minutes to complete a shipping order. They are good about keeping their shipping supplies well stocked out front and will get you anything that doesn't fit in the shelves out front. I found a super cute pack of gnome holiday cards here as well to get me ready for the upcoming holidays! The most recent visit when I was here there was a new college student at the pack/plus area who must have been in training as she didn't seem to have answers to some of my questions, but she was friendly nevertheless. Aside from the airport location this is the only other FedEx in town. This one is open until 8pm so it is more convenient than the airport location (only open until 6pm!) read more

I needed to print off some documents (one was over 100 pages) and didn't want to have to buy a new ink cartridge (or possibly a new printer) in order to do this. Stopped by this place and was able to quickly and easily accomplish this feat for mere dollars! Oh and did I mention, socially distance at the same time? ! FedEx (er, Kinko's) has been around, well, pretty much forever. I remember long ago, as a college student, dragging my procrastinating self into the place at three in the morning to make copies of that 15-page term paper I'd known about for a month but only just started writing the night before. Back then, they gave you a little counter-thing-a-ma-jig that you plugged into the copy machine and then returned to the attendant when you were done; copies were a lot cheaper back then, too. But I digress... Today, the old college "hangout" we used to call Kinko's is now owned by FedEx. But this is still one of the easier (if not cheaper) places to get stuff done - whether it's make copies, scan something, print something, or get a larger job produced. They pretty much do everything here now. Oh, and the copy machines are self-pay so you don't have to mess with the aforementioned thing-a-ma-jig. I've also used them a few times for work projects. You can e-mail them your project and, voila, it's ready for you to pick up when you arrive. I can't say the service is the fastest in town, but what they lack in efficiency they more than make up for in the sheer selection of services/products you can find there. They also offer a nice selection of general office supplies, always a plus if you're in a pinch and don't want to make another stop! read more

I had the great misfortune of having to return an unbelievably heavy exercise bike that I had partially put together and could not get into the styrofoam needed. The company told me to take it to Fed Ex and they'd do it for me. I dragged all 150 lbs of it into the store when i was told the employees aren't responsible to do that. I was so deflated, when one of the managers came out from the back and she and another employee went to work on getting it taken apart and turned every piece every which way to get it back in the original way. It was time-consuming, but they did it! I wish I could remember their names because they ROCKED! I will definitely go back to that Fed Ex for my future needs, but I won't be buying anything that heavy ever again, lol! read more

Usually not a problem here, so overall it's fine. But I just had a man working here talk to me in a super condescending manner and was barely helpful. He acted like I was a bother to even ask for help. I was literally the *only* customer in the store. There were four employees right there working on some large order. Granted, they were probably doing a great job on that one large order. But if the employees are so overwhelmed with an order that they cannot help a new customer, then put more people on the schedule. Like I said, usually this place is fine for lower quality high volume print jobs. But wow this guy was annoying. The woman who rung up my order was friendly. It would be 0 stars but that's not an option. Tried to send a package to my daughter in the military she needed before deployment. I finally got a call two days after it was supposed to have arrived that there was an issue. It finally arrived 4 days later that it was supposed to. Four days later than what I PAID FOR!! Then after phone transfer hell, I was ultimately denied any money back. And told that they "couldn't" refund me. They most definitely could have, but chose to not support me or my kid in the military!! Will never use Fedex again. Worst customer service I've ever had. read more

I only use FedEx to mail my tarts and I used them for passport photos. They have sent off over a dozen tarts since my Harvest of plums, pears and apples from August right up until the busy Christmas week. I've never had a problem with the 3-day mail for about $11 throughout continental United States and $6 for Washington state. I was afraid that in the hot tail of Summer some might spoil or with rough handling some might look like Hiroshima, but so far everything has been groovy. Joe pretty much remembers all my info so it's wham bam thank you ma'am and I'm out the door. Who'd've thunk that Monday December 17th would have a large line of patrons with multiple packages? The staff was so cheery and helpful that it was difficult for me to maintain my usual holiday irritation with life. One staff member even took my son from the line and processed his passport photos to expedite the service. What's nice is that I feel safe that my home made goodies will arrive on time and still edible. It feels good to be remembered my name as a repeat customer. read more

Passport photo fast and easy. They told me that they couldn't ship my documents from the store but, their signs and name indicate they do FedEx which is what I needed for an expedited Passport. ?? The employees were very kind and obviously trained to give the canned "hello, how can we help you" and "thank you for coming. Have a great day" responses. But, I ended up having to go to another place to ship my documents so, I guess their training should go deeper than the courtesy greetings. read more

Unbelievable, thinking the postoffice was closed on Saturday I went to FedEX- and left without using their services for the second time in a week. The last time i went they tried to charge me $20 more than a package I had sent a few weeks earlier b/c I would have to use their boxes. This time they not only made it sound like my package would be opened to be inspected if I didn't use their envelope to cover my box (being a doc I get samples from genetic companies- the box didn't say anything other than genetics). Then they quoted me $48 for using their envelope and getting there on Wed AM. Or $27 for Wed by 8PM (it's Saturday); I decided to go with $13 ground that would likely get there Wed anyway, and before I could pay, the man said I had to provide a federally issued drivers license to scan! WTF? I've lived abroad and not once have I had to show a DL or passport to send a package. I was like what? And the older white man with glasses serving me seemed to insinuate that I was suspicious in some way and needed to prove it was a legal transaction. I let them know this is the second and last time I would use their pain in the a** company- I ended up finding an open Post office and sent my package for $11 to arrive by Tuesday. FedEX if you were the only game in town you could act in such a bizarre way, but as a business owner- my customer experience at FedEX has me grateful for USPS and the UPS Store such better more reasonably priced and respectful options. read more

This was the worst ever. All 3 men need to be retrained. This early afternoon we walk into Fed Ex with our packages ready to ship. A older man comes over and said what's in it? No greetings, throws my husband off. I jump in an say Alpaca manure. Note: It was dried out, packed in zipped bags, and tied in a giant plastic bag, than put in a box that was sealed with taped shut. The older guy said yeah I can smell it. He then proceeded to say something to the other worker guy. He comes over and said we have to check to see if it has to be shipped by air because it is hazardous.By this time more people are here. So now they are not taking care of use any more. They won't tell us how much extra it will cost. Who to talk to. Where to go. They were not helpful at all. But they were rude and made the customer feel bad. This place is well-equipped and you can get a lot done here. However, I wouldn't recommend using the internet to print anything. They charge you to use the internet and they also charge a fairly steep price for black and white prints (about 45 cents a page), so my three printed pages ended up costing me $6. There are cheaper places where you can print documents from the internet. read more

Very impressed with this FedEx store. I went in the week before Christmas to ship some gifts back East and was suprised to see a very good employee-to-customer ratio. Compared to some FedEx locations I've been to, it was refreshing to see the employees serving customers with smiles and patience--these folks weren't over-worked and overwhelmed. This place is a joke for shipping with Fedex, I sent a package with a elderly gentlemen that took 25 minutes (to send a package?!) and that was me giving him the info repeadedly and then I find out the package never got there. Over two decades ago, I used to use this business (then Kinkos) for all my college related printing projects. And they were great then. It's a little careworn after all these years, but I found the staff so helpful and accommodating, I just had to write a review. I was trying to reproduce mailings into postcards, and the alignment and sizing were off using my amateur approach. Rather then let me settle for something that looked so tacky (which I was prepared to do out of ineptitude on my part), they took it upon themselves to scan, resize, and realign my weird original. It looks amazing. It was a bit pricey, but well worth it. (They didn't charge me for the first go-round with my tacky version. Really nice!) read more

I recently shipped FedEx with this location and was not very impressed. I was surprised that the bill was just under $15 for shipping an item that weighed less than a pound. I felt like my customer service agent, though attentive, was not very clear on what I was being charged for. The bag they shipped the item is was a $10, no matter what, and the wrapping was another $3 or so. I wish that prices and quotes were told to me before the entire shipping went through, I would have taken my business elsewhere. read more

I went in to ship a package to a friend. The man shook my box and upon hearing a rattling sound rudely told me it wouldn't work and he would have to open it up to see what it was. He opened my box and proceded to comment upon and judge out loud every item in it, criticizing most of them, including a drawing I had made. He also caused most of the notes and little gift tags I had put on the items inside to tear or fall off, ruining the cute gift I was trying to send. After roughly stuffing everything back in the box, he told me that this "service" of packing my box for me cost extra. I was not informed of this before he opened my package and was not given the option to re-pack it at home. He told me very patronizingly that he would be nice and let it slide this time. I then had to give him my ID and he asked if it was current and valid. It is and I told him this but he challenged me and asked where I was living now. I am in Bellingham for school and have a temporary address here but my permanent address is that on my ID. He rudely told me that this usually wouldn't work and asked where my mail was delivered. I told him to the address on my ID and he seemed skeptical but didn't further push it. Finally after this whole process was over I paid (looking back I should have just taken my business elsewhere) and as I was about to leave he said "Now what did we learn today" in a very condescending and patronizing tone. While I am a young woman in my early 20s, I know that I am an adult and deserve to be treated as such and not talked down upon in this sexist manner. I was on the verge of tears as I left the store, both from anger and humiliation. Unfortunately I don't know the man's name who did this but I am tempted to go back in and give him a piece of my mind. This store has lost my business and I hope others will find somewhere else to shop/ship as well. read more

An employee put me on hold to look up info. 30 seconds later, said he found it, would reprint it, and even dropped it off on his way home not even an hour later. read more
