Extremely disappointed in this service. Our flights were cancelled, and we asked to be taken to our new hotel in Cancun on the way to the airport from Playa del Carmen. We also requested that they simply stop at the hotel on the way to the airport, and they flatly refused to add it as a stop. Despite the hotel being only 7 minutes from the airport, they demanded an additional $65, claiming it was a "new service." This was unreasonable, especially since we were not asking for a separate trip, only a stop along the existing route--not to go to the airport first and then be taken to the hotel. The driver was not the issue at all--drivers are clearly restricted and monitored by GPS. The problem lies entirely with the reservation staff, who were rigid, unhelpful, and unwilling to offer any solution. They even claimed that no manager was available, which is both inexcusable and highly questionable during peak season. This was an overpriced, inflexible, and poorly managed service that added stress to an already difficult travel situation. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting reasonable customer service or flexibility. read more

We travel two weeks ago and paid for a private transfer but was forced into a shared ride due to overbooking. No one was waiting at the airport and we had to stop at several hotels. They said a partial refund would be given but never was and they never responded to my emails, texts or calls. Do not recommend. read more

Booked a round trip transfer from Cancun airport to hotel in Playa. Arrival was great, departure was terrible. Received confirmation of departure time, I was downstairs waiting prior to scheduled time. When I hadn't seen them 10 minutes after scheduled time I started trying to chat/call/what's app, but could not get through. My hotel concierge also tried to call from a landline and couldn't get through either. after about 45 minutes of waiting with no word from them and no answer despite multiple routes of communication, I had to take a taxi, ended up making to the airport and through security exactly 10 minutes before my flight boarded which was quite stressful! ZERO communication from them that they were running late. When I contacted them via email after the fact they told me that the driver had been stuck behind an accident. I requested a refund and they offered me less than half the cost of my round-trip booking which was also less than my additional cost for the taxi. Terrible experience, was very stressful, lost money due to their insufficient refund and had the additional cost of a taxi ride. Absolutely would not recommend. I wish I had done more research as I'm now seeing more reviews of no-show for pick-up. Don't waste your time! read more

We used Canada Transfers our last two times in Mexico. At first we were wary you had to be Canadian, but this is not the case, as we are from the US. The transfers are cheap for round trip and allow you to book in advance and contact them as needed for changes. They are always on time and easy to find at the airport. Their vans are also large for those who don't pack lightly (guilty) and they provide free water as refreshments. Highly recommend if you are visiting Cancun. read more

Booked this transfer service for my mom when she came to join me on vacation. She gets overwhelmed when traveling solo especially with foreign travel. They were prompt and ready to receive her at the airport without her having to look for them. For $6 extra she also had a bagged lunch waiting for her. She really enjoyed the service. On the way back I rode with her. The driver was really nice and gave amazing service. He was good at social cues and was willing to chat without being overbearing. We got to my mom's terminal safely and on time. He gave me great tips to get to my terminal easily since I wanted to wait with my mom for a bit before heading to my terminal as my flight was 6 hours later. I highly recommend this service. We're so glad we decided to push the 'easy button" and use Canada transfers for our rides to and from the Cancun Airport to Tulum. Both of our drivers, Antonio and Nelson, were extremely friendly and professional. It was a true pleasure to practice my Spanish with both of them during the to and from journeys to Tulum. We were greeted both times with punctuality, complimentary water and a safe one+ hour drive each way. The booking process was fairly simple and they had our airline information which helped when our flight to Mexico was delayed a few hours. It was easy to find them at the airport thanks to their sign with our names and I really enjoyed the ease of being picked up directly at our hotel on our leaving day. I recommend this service-they're reliable & have a fair price. The drivers and staff are friendly & knowledgeable. A couple of tips when flying into Cancún: know which terminal you are arriving at, ignore the hawkers/pseudo taxi helpers, get WhatsApp or make sure you have a good connection/communication prior to leaving airport. I made the mistake of thinking I was in the international terminal and got suckered for about an hour thinking our driver had left. We have used Canada Transfers in Cancun for the past 7 years or so. This year our flights got all delayed/changed and Canada Transfers staff was able to accommodate all of our last minute changes. Our initial group of 6 coming in together on 3 different planes that got changed to 4 people arriving at similar times, then 2 on a separate flight and time. We preorder drinks for the ride to resort and they were able to put the right drinks with the right rides to accommodate the different arrivals. Excellent transfer service. My boyfriend and I opted for Canada Transfers for a round-trip from the Cancun Airport area to our resort and we couldn't have been more satisfied! The vans were clean and spacious (with great air conditioning), and both our drivers were very professional. Our drivers even arrived early for our pick-up times and were patient and helpful. As for payment options, you have the option to pay in cash during your first trip or pay ahead of time online. We decided to pay online using Paypal and it was both secure and convenient. Edit #2: Canada transfers picked us up from our hotel and was great. Be very careful at the airport and don't talk to anyone you didn't call yourself! We had reserved a shuttle to our hotel but baggage claim was broken and it took an hour to get our bags. So the shuttle took someone else. We had reserved two car seats for our children so now I'm typing fuming mad from a taxi that gouged us for an extra $30. We called Canada transfers from the airport when we knew we were late and they said don't worry, the shuttle will wait for you. Well they said they would send another one in 90 minutes. No thank you, we aren't waiting another 90 minutes. Edit: Canada transfers wrote me an email and said they were still waiting there. Now I'm thinking I got scammed by some asshole at the airport and I just never found Canada transfers. I don't know if I'm the asshole or that guy or Canada transfers now. When we landed in Cancun an employee of Canada Transfers was right outside waiting for us with our name on his sign. He brought us to the van and helped load up our cases. The van was very clean and comfortable with water bottles waiting. Our driver drove very safely and seemed to know the area well. On our return trip the driver was waiting at the appointed time outside the resort and got us safely to the airport. The only complaint I had is that we had to print off our vouchers for the trips when they were readily available on our phones. We don't have a printer at home so this was a bit of an inconvenience. All in all, I would absolutely take Canada Transfers anytime I needed transportation in the area! read more

Canada Transfers was excellent service in Cancun & Tulum! Highly recommend. However BE AWARE: Canada transfers is trustworthy, but there will be people at the Cancun airport who hope to trick you. While looking for my Canada transfers shuttle, I was offered help by someone who dressed like they worked at the airport. He offered to help me and called Canada Transfers. This man offered his phone to me and the person on the other line claimed that Canada transfers had no more shuttles coming and that I had missed mine. He offered to reimburse me if I took a taxi (twice the cost) and kept the receipt. But he would not reimburse the cost of my ticket from Canada Transfers. Needless to say, the person on the other line was not Canada Transfers. The man who offered help appeared kind but was clearly trying to get me to pay for an expensive taxi. My husband and I used Canada Transfers to go from our resort in the Riviera Maya to Cancun's hotel zone. Looking back, I wish we used them exclusively for all our travel. We had private transportation, and our driver (Jose Diaz) was AWESOME. Such a smooth and safe driver (I get carsick very easily, so this is important to me). Very knowledgeable of the area, great conversationalist, and gave us the most excellent food recommendations. We tried two of his recommendations and were blown away by the food. We used Canada Transfers to and from our Resort - Secrets Akumal which was about 1 hour south of Cancun. About $130 return. We found them at the airport quite easily, they had a red carpet for us, cool face towels and the van had a table with drink holders!! We had a mix up, not sure what happened to our original booking but we couldn't find the confirmation - which we had 2 beers each added onto. Before we left we got in touch with them and they found our booking but the beers had come off it and we forgot about it - so we didn't have any on the way there but they did offer to stop for us. We declined, just keen to get to the resort. They added them for us on the way back though which was nice. On the way back it was just a van with a cooler but it was a nice easy ride with beer so we were happy. read more

There was a bit of a wait, but the airport bar made it easy :) Our driver was very nice and chatted with us both in Spanish and English. His English was far better than my Spanish :) There were cold waters in the van. It was just us for the drive to PlayadelCarmen, my guess is due to Covid restrictions. Our return was similar, the van and driver were waiting for us in the lobby when we came to check out of the hotel. They were very communicative, sent several confirmation emails and even called me before the trip to assure us of our booking and help with any other tour booking. Our flight was delayed 20 minutes or so, so I frantically tried to email Canada Transfers while still in the U.S. to ensure they wouldn't leave us if we were late. They responded to my email super quickly and let me know that they track flights and they'd be there waiting. Once I got off the plane I was nervous due to several warnings that there are people trying to scam you for rides. The Canada Transfers rep was the first face I seen with a huge sign with my name. Hassel free and on time! Our driver spoke little English but still tried his best to communicate and we even exchanged lessons in Spanish/English words. Just very friendly! We've been to Cancun a few times and Canada Transfers is definitely the best airport transport service. They are quick and efficient in getting you onto your vehicle when you arrive. We really appreciated the water and cool wash cloths waiting for us at the car. I chose the "Private Deluxe Vehicle" option and we had a Chevrolet Suburban on both rides, the price was competitive with other services. The Suburban taking us back to the airport from our hotel was brand new and you could tell our driver was pleased with it! Anyway, this is THE transfer service if you're in Cancun. Requested car seat and booster for pick up. Emailed the night before to confirm that car seat and booster would be in car. Car arrived without a booster and a broken car seat. There were no options to get the items from another driver without missing the flight. Children cried the entire way to airport because they did not feel safe without seats. What a great company for transport to and from the airport to our resort. When we walked out of the airport a guy was standing there with our name on a board. He walked us to the van. We were given washcloths that were cool and had a cucumber smell to them. It was definitely refreshing to wipe y face with it after traveling all day. We had the van to ourselves and we ordered some drinks to be in the shuttle for us for $1USD per drink!! So we had a cooler with beers and vodka and waters on ice for us. The driver spoke English and was able to converse with us about the area. When picking us up for return to the airport the driver was a couple of minute early and offered to stop and get us coffee or anything before we got to the airport. He poured our perfectly chilled wine and opened the Coronas, and we had a truly delightful drive from Cancun to Tulum. Manuel drove us to the airport from Tulum, and he eagerly spoke English with us. He got us to Cancun airport from Tulum in less than 90 minutes, safely and without incident. Both our drivers were punctual, friendly but not overly chatty (thank you), and were excellent drivers. FABULOUS! Service was recommended by a flight crew group I belong to for airport-hotel round trip transfer in Cancun. I was a female traveling solo and was met outside terminal by employee with a sign with my name and a cold bottle of water and cool washcloth. Driver arrived shortly after and had a corona I requested in a cooler. Van was in great shape and driver very nice and professional. I paid cash at arriving at hotel and was given pickup time for return. I was in lobby early day of departure and driver was 15 minutes early also! Very pleased and am using them again in Cancun on Thanksgiving Day. I fly standby and know I can email and receive a response quickly if my flights change.
