They make you wait in line to drop off the vehicle even with a scheduled appointment. They make you wait in line when you go pick up and pay for the work done...The work done is questionable at best. 2 times fro tire change and sensors. Sensors were not fixed after 1st visit. In reading previous reviews, I see that my 89 year old mother is not the only elderly person that Canadian Tire exploited and charged for a service not rendered or requested. The parts manager at the Lasalle boul. location in Sudbury, Aaron Winch, is not only a bully, but a liar. My mother went in to have her jeep battery replaced. She was charged $59.99 for a test of her alternator that she did not request. When I went to speak with Mr. Winch, he was rude and unprofessional. He even accused my mother of lying. I am appalled by this behaviour. I encourage everyone to boycott this Canadian Tire store. read more

Hey Canadian tire! Way to sell a 74 year old man a faulty battery, attempt to tell him it was his alternator and charge him to test it. He went elsewhere, and was told his alternator was fine and the batter did not hold a charge. Upon returning to YOUR store, he went through hell to have the issue resolved, just to be told to take the battery out himself, carry it across the parking lot and return it for exchange!!?? What kind of service do you actually provide!? A 74 year old man with a heart condition and knee replacements! Telling him to buy the tools to remove it (and boost it in your parking lot) then carry across the lot to return YOUR mistake!? I'm sickened! I will be boycotting your stores moving forward. This is no level of customer service and it's disgusting to think this is how a multi million dollar is run and or deems acceptable. I dropped off my tire to get a simple plug put in. It was off the vehicle, screw was in the tire indicating the spot where I needed said plug. The attendant told me it would take 3 hours the latest. Going on 6+ hours now. Apparently walk-ins are shuffled around actual "appointments" so If you call to schedule the same thing I need at 12pm hours after I've dropped mine off, you will be put ahead of mine. was heading out on a 2 week ice fishing trip up north (01-17-2018) so I decided to pick up a portable fishing hut(Product #077-5289-2) ,I went to the LaSalle location in sudbury ontario to purchase one ,there was one left on the shelf but the box was all damage and looked open. concerned i had asked the cashier what was the return policy on this damaged box, it look like it was open and posably damaged she assured me that there was a 90 day return and I had nothing to worry about , with confidence I decided to make this large purchase ($734.00 for a friggin tent) when I went out to the ice and set the tent up I was not impressed by the quality for the price there was little holes in the stiching the zipper was low quality ,all the concerns I had about purchasing this thing were abundantly present i decided to bring it back.upon trying to return it I was asked if the box was opened and I had said yes I had to open the box and I was immediately informed by the manager (farmer) that I was not allowed to return this item ,I assured them I stressed my concerns prior to the purchase about this product and I was lead on by the cashier that I had nothing to worry about,I can return it if I had any problems with this item within the 90 days The managers were adamant that they would not give me a refund even though I told him he sold me a defective product he said (manager Mr. Young) it was about the principle that I can't just buy stuff and return it and they sent me on my way it hasnt even been 30 days from the purchase I am stuck with the product that I don't even want liars and scammers run the store so be very wary read more
