Once inside the theater, went straight to the self-check out to buy 2 tickets ($29). The process was fast and easy. Then, gave the tickets to a lady who told us where to go for our movie. Before heading to the movie, we stopped to buy a couple of glasses of wine ($21). We also stopped to get popcorn but decided not to get any because they're cooked with butter which we don't consume. The movie room was super clean and the recliner chairs were very comfy. The big screen and sound were perfect. I wish the temperature was a little cooler. Overall, this is a great movie theater. I felt safe and the lobby was clean. Staff was not friendly but was not mean either so God bless them for wanting to work.

Every time we come here, we experience some type of issue. This has happened across three separate…read morevisits: Incident 1: We were told that staff had lost the keys to the movie, so we had to choose a different one. No one informed us of this until we actually got there. Incident 2: We were given the wrong seats in the wrong theater. To make matters worse, the AC wasn't working, the soda machines were barely pumping out decent soda, and their card reader had been down for several days, so we had to go to the bank just to get cash. Incident 3 (just now): The light in the projector room was on for the entire film. I felt like I could barely enjoy myself due to it. We tried asking staff to fix it, but they said there was nothing they could do. Obviously, not all of this is just due to the staff. They can't control the AC or the card reader, but they're definitely not helping when it comes to the experience with other things. The theatre is in definite need of an upgrade, and until they get it, they won't be seeing me again.

The Temple still possesses 16/35/70 mm projection capabilities, and Manager/Projectionist Roger Smith is eager to resurrect the film era. The inside of our lovely auditorium is shown below. The Temple Theatre is a time capsule that everyone should see. We won't reveal too much, but everything here, from the catacombs to the dressing rooms, is authentic (except for the carpeting, main floor seats and some of the parquet flooring). There are tunnels and catacombs leading to an original Cold War fall-out bunker. When there isn't a live stage play, we normally show recent movies on our massive 40-foot screen. The theater was crowded which I figured it might be for this movie. Concessions were limited. Some of the usual items they would have they didn't have, at least not tonight. The bathrooms were definitely an issue! To be honest I don't think they had been cleaned since closing the night before. Yes that bad! There were a couple of the urinals in the men's bathroom that didn't flush properly and one out of order. This is the least expensive theatre I've ever been to. Two people can have a movie date night for not much money at all. This is a steal especially since other theatres upcharge their popcorn so much Now this place doesn't have the fanciest seating, but for the price this place is clean and cheap. I often check on that first stall on the left to see if anyone has bothered to replace the cracked lid that exposes the plumbing in the tank. They haven't. Oh and my husband says 3 of the 4 urinals in the men's room are out of order. This is a clear representation of how much the owner/managers care about this theater. The oven they use to heat up the overpriced food is always broken. Oh and a couple of the screens have overly dim projectors making already dark movies practically impossible to watch. Lastly be careful in the parking lot. It's only a matter of time before the potholes connect and open into an actual sinkhole.

It gives you some of the old world feel of the early 80's cinema but once inside, you can order food directly to your seat via QR code on your table connected to your seat. The theatre seating had wide isles and could recline. I was a little disappointed you couldn't lift up the center arm to cuddle with your date. The sound was 7.1 ATMOS audio and the screen was clear. For the most part, every seat had a good view. Although if you had someone tall in a seat your view may be slightly obstructed if you were under 5'8" Prices for the theatre are average, not sure if they have any deals to be had. Parking was plentiful on the street or in the back of the building. Seats were mostly clean but there was some sticky spots that got on our skin.
