I went here on a whim, because with a lot of different beer options in 4 packs I did not want to…read morebuy something I wouldn't drink. This was a cute tucked away place with decent parking on the water. There were not a lot of people so parking was adequate. It is very open and immediately I enjoyed the ambience. It had a modern cabin in the lake vibe, sans fireplace, with a good laid back music that was loud enough to enjoy but not a conversation crusher. It was too cold to sit outside so I didn't get to enjoy that. The beer had quite the variety including sours, ales, porters, and IPA. They tried some bold flavors and overall I didn't dislike anything, the chocolate cake porter and beard full of sprinkles top 2. Bartender was very friendly and not in your face. My reason for not 5 star was the menu. I didn't try the food to be honest. It was very basic fried pub food which looked decent, but I've started to appreciate the breweries who really crush the food aspect with local flavors or food variety. Speaking of local though the incorporation of abbots custard into their beer made me enjoy their cream ale (not a fan of cream ales in general)

It gave them more deck and indoor space as well as a spot for boats to dock as they motor down the canal. This review doesn't include the food. We stopped here just for a couple of drinks with our God son and his wife up from NC . We each had a couple of beers and everyone seemed very satisfied with their choices. We sat out on the deck which runs along the canal. It has ample room and contains several tables that accommodate seating for four. Nice atmosphere sitting there watching the boat traffic go by and the main street bridge go up and down. They have several tables inside if the weather isn't cooperating to sit outside. Our server was friendly and made sure we were properly taken care of. The menu looked interesting therefore we will come back and try having a lunch or dinner in the future.

I found this on my GPS, it didn't take me to the right place, but as I kept driving to turn around,…read moreI ran into it. There was a very nice selection of liquor and wine, but most of it was much more expensive than in the US. I did get a bottle of Baileys birthday cake that I'd never seen before. They also had several Coors selzers that aren't available here. They had a fairly small selection of beer. I'll be back when I'm in Niagara Falls again.

Even though it's not right in the Clifton Hill area it is still packed with out of towners like me and locals. We actually had to wait for a parking spot because the lot is so full. Everywhere outside the lot you have to pay for parking, hence the traffic in the lot. The liquor prices aren't bad and they will accept USD, and credit. I'm not sure about debit, what I do know is they wouldn't accept my Discover card. Normally I use Amex but they're charging international rates, so the hell with them on this trip. Today I used cash and the clerk made the exchange and provided change in CA currency. I picked out a 200 ml bottle of Crown Royal which costly about 11 USD, not best, but still cheaper than what you're going to get at any restaurant here. I'll probably pop back in here one more time before we go to the NY side. I'm sure we will need another night out on the town, and that whiskey is unbelievably good on a cold night.

There is an outdoor patio to enjoy during warm weather, which I will be sure to check out again this summer. Village of Williamsville favorite and I'm glad I finally tried it. Food 4/5- it's not a place that you come for dinner. But if you'd like to have a side with your beer or cider, there are a few selections. I ordered from the daily special menu a grilled cheese sandwich with buffalo chicken inside with chips $5.00 not bad. You really come here for the alcoholic drink so keep that in mind. I had a glass of white wine since I'm not a beer drinker. Service 5/5- bartender was friendly and took our orders right away.

Unfortunately a few minutes after I landed, they closed the kitchen. I think it was about 1030 which sucked. So instead we snagged a drink. We had a gin and sprite, a wayward lane fine print ale, and an IPA which was okay. I forgot the name of it. Small place to sit inside. Maybe good for 30 people. Decent amount outside maybe 20. So it's not a huge plane but the noise coming from it was loud and so it had pretty decent energy. There was also an intense game of cornhole happening as well.
