Stopped in for my first time while visiting for the weekend. Cute little place. The lake is beautiful. Ordered a tropical sunset, and he some beer on tap. I needed a little snack so ordered the artichoke dip and chips. Ehh the dip was bland but my drink was amazing. Wished the dip had a little more flavor to it but for $12 we ate it and didn't want to waste it. Probably just coming back for drinks if we are in town again. Staff was nice. Lots of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Stopped in on a sunny Sunday. Couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Although it was sunny, we had lakeside views and vibes - they have a pumpkin beer on tap 'Headless Norseman'. It was delicious! First time to Twisted Rail this summer and it was a great stop.

Our first time visiting after a five hour drive and we were not disappointed. Our "brewmaster" was friendly and helpful. All the beers were delicious in their own ways and the sandwiches were amazing. Prices were good and I'd highly recommend!

The food was meh. The beef on Weck was lacking beef and the trainwreck fries came out pretty soggy. The beers are good though. Come to drink but eat somewhere else.

Visited the Geneva location a few years ago and wasn't that impressed, it was during "COVID" times so I gave this location a try while visiting from out of town. Great location on the water, over priced beer and (mediocre) food. Could use a bit of a refresh with a fancy new hotel next door.

We enjoy twisted tail, especially in the summer when you can sit lakeside and have good beer. Never disappointed in what's on tap, and love that they have substantive food options. The flatbreads are a great choice and more filling than you'd expect. The upstairs space is a good option to be away from folks during these socially distanced times, though maybe not dusted as often as needed. Also, everyone has always been very nice, if not overly attentive.

Great views of Canandaguia Lake. Tasty beer selection. Random note- the pretzel cheese sauce is nasty.

I find it hard to think that natives of the FLX are beer snobs, but to read the reviews, so much might indicate so.

They have dock access conveniently located right next to the Canandaigua boat ramp. So we were able to pull right in and get a table. For drinks we had the strawberry bean cocktail(great for those who like sweet) and the dragonfruit daiquiri ( great if you don't like too sweet). Both were delicious and presented well. For lunch I had the blackened Mahi Mahi Street tacos that were excellent, my partner had the chicken fingers which were excellent quality. You can tell they use fresh oil and make them in house. All around great experience. Will definitely be returning!

Unfortunately, the experience after our visit left me very disappointed. The following day I noticed that we were mistakenly charged for a $38 fish fry that we neither ordered nor received. Mistakes happen, and I would have understood if the issue had been resolved promptly. Instead, I spent several days calling the restaurant, leaving messages, sending emails, and even contacting the resort's front desk and general manager before anyone responded. Eventually, the incorrect charge was refunded, but only after repeated follow-up on my part. Even then, the refund did not include the sales tax on the erroneous charge, and I was still left paying a generous tip based on an inflated bill. What disappointed me most wasn't the money--it was the lack of urgency, communication, and ownership in resolving the problem. When I contacted resort management to explain my concerns, the response I received was simply an invitation to come back so they could "make it up to me." After the amount of effort it took to correct a mistake that wasn't mine, that response felt dismissive rather than genuinely apologetic. I understand that mistakes happen in every restaurant. What distinguishes a great establishment is how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, in this case, the resolution took far too much effort on my part and ultimately left me feeling that guest satisfaction was not a priority. It's unfortunate because the food, atmosphere, and our bartender's service were all enjoyable. Had management handled the situation with greater urgency and care, this review would have been very different.
