The nan is a cretin, no social skills, bo communication on our questions and no discussion of what we were there for actually. I was referred there, Sypherd was my Dr. What happened in that office was obscene. Absolutely, no communication, no social skills at all. Literally, open your pants to examine penis and testicles, no idea why. Then a cursory bend over order on the table. He didnt ask if my wife wanted to step outside or anything. Evidently I was to tall for him and he didnt think of his stool, but he told me to bend my knees....so as I begin to do that, he uses his knee to hit the back of my knees causing me to drop down, while at the same time, he forcibly went up with the rectal exam, it was extremely painful and when he finished, he just dropped a moist towelettes on the table to clean up with. My wife was horrified, I was embarrassed and this Doc then told me I needed a biopsy and walked out. I asked to see another doc. .however they do not allow that, in fact i was told that i could see Dr. Nelson, but he wouldn't treat me, he would just answer any questions and then refer me out of network! In the end, I had my GP refer me to Spokane Urology. OMG, what a difference on everything, from the office staff, the nurses and Dr. Lance! I cannot say enough good about him. Now, two plus years later I am told my condition (for which I was referred for) may be in serious danger because it hasn't been monitored . Yes, I know it is my fault. I just don't understand why they would be so rude to a sick person.

Since American Oncology Network, LLC bought Summit Cancer Center it has taken a drastic change for…read morethe worse. You are no longer treated as a patient but like cattle. The main focus is now on money not the patient. They now collect the coinsurance at the visit and no longer bill you. Not to mention most of the doctors left upon the take over or soon after retired. This is not the place you want to go through cancer treatment. There is no feeling of care just a feeling of being herded in and herded out. Very disappointing.

Today I finished my last treatment for a lesion on my liver which had been deemed cancerous by…read morebiopsy at VAMC in Spokane. As VA did not have facilities to treat this ailment, they opted to send me out for treatment. After my primary physician requested treatment, the community care center contacted me and offered various facilities for me to choose from for my treatment. Summit was recommended by a friend and also was on the VA's list so I chose them. This started in September and my treatment was completed on Dec 6th. Part of the delay's that occurred were due to VA changing procedures and partly due to Thanksgiving holiday preventing continuous treatment for the 5 days in a row needed for Cyberknife procedure. I cannot say enough nice things about how I was treated and how helpful the staff at Summit was during my entire procedure. If you have a choice in treating cancer, I can recommend Summit if you have a choice. They will do everything possible for you.

My husband is on a 24/7 catheter that needs to be changed once a month. He has had only the best care prior to coming to Spokane Urology today. The nurse ( if she even was one)??was rough & the hygiene she used was poor! She did the catheter wrong it's got no slack & is pulling on my husband's penis. We are trying to decide which emergency room to go to at this time. I wouldn't take any human being or animal to this despicable place. I don't know why or how it hasn't been shut down?? Unfortunately they are the only providers in Spokane. We were warned not to go there, & to go to Coeur D'Alene, so extremely sorry we didn't listen to former patients!!
