Rockwood/Multicare Urology Please do not go here unless you…read morecan get into Nelson. Whatever you do, do not go to Dr. Dirk Sypherd. The nan is a cretin, no social skills, bo communication on our questions and no discussion of what we were there for actually. I was referred there, Sypherd was my Dr. What happened in that office was obscene. Absolutely, no communication, no social skills at all. Literally, open your pants to examine penis and testicles, no idea why. Then a cursory bend over order on the table. He didnt ask if my wife wanted to step outside or anything. Evidently I was to tall for him and he didnt think of his stool, but he told me to bend my knees....so as I begin to do that, he uses his knee to hit the back of my knees causing me to drop down, while at the same time, he forcibly went up with the rectal exam, it was extremely painful and when he finished, he just dropped a moist towelettes on the table to clean up with. My wife was horrified, I was embarrassed and this Doc then told me I needed a biopsy and walked out. I asked to see another doc. .however they do not allow that, in fact i was told that i could see Dr. Nelson, but he wouldn't treat me, he would just answer any questions and then refer me out of network! In the end, I had my GP refer me to Spokane Urology. OMG, what a difference on everything, from the office staff, the nurses and Dr. Lance! I cannot say enough good about him. It was like night and day. Please go to Spokane Urology, you will not regret it at all!

First, I had to wait for 35 minutes in the lobby until I was called back. The medical assistant…read moreMia is a doll!! She's the best thing about this place. Had Mohs surgery on my shin and was outta there in 4 hours. Doctor called me at 7:30pm to check on me...of course I was fine...the local anesthetic had not worn off. Next day...no bueno! I was in severe pain....like a 7 or 8! For four days!! My husband called doctor, but he never called back. I was able to talk to Nurse Ratchet at the triage and she refuse any pain medication for me...I only wanted some relief for 2 or 3 days....they dug pretty deep into my leg! So I cried for three days, unable to walk, hubby got me a walker. Left another message at triage on third day (Sunday) and nice female doctor called me back relatively quickly..she was very nice, but at this point, I was able to tolerate with Tylenol. Texted picture of my swollen red leg. Told it looked good. Anyway, all that said, I believe the Mohs surgery was done very well; it's the aftercare and compassion/empathy that really turned me off. I'm dealing with stage 4 lung cancer (non smoker) and just don't want to have to deal with indifference.

One of the most disappointing healthcare experiences I've ever had. I went to Advanced Dermatology…read moreand Skin Care seeking help for painful acne and scheduled an appointment with Kathy LejaMeyer. Before booking, I was very clear in asking the front office multiple times if my insurance would cover the visit--they reassured me again and again that it would. When I arrived for my appointment, no one greeted me or even acknowledged I was there. I asked again at the front desk if my insurance covered the visit, and they confidently said yes. During the appointment, the provider also told me my insurance was accepted and that everything would be covered--no need to worry about payment. On my way out, I asked for a third time and was once more assured there would be no charges. Three months later, I get a bill for over $300. I called the office expecting them to honor what they told me--after all, I had asked several times and was explicitly told I wouldn't be billed. Instead, they refused to take responsibility and would not write it off. Their response was essentially, "Too bad." To make things worse, after this billing issue, they refused to schedule me for a follow-up appointment regarding chronic painful hives. I've been in severe discomfort, but they clearly prioritize money over patient care. This practice is not trustworthy, and I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone. If you value honesty, clear communication, and basic human compassion--go somewhere else. If I could give this office 0 stars I would.
