Very disappointing experience. We walked in and two employees were standing at the front talking. No one greeted us or even acknowledged us. We had to seat ourselves and get our own menus while the staff kept chatting. After waiting with no service, we decided to leave. Customer service was unacceptable. My cousin and I decided to go to Cancun Mexican grill for a quick dinner. This was the first time for both of us. We had read the menu before going and it was just what we wanted. The menu had lots of choices to choose from and the prices were very very reasonable. Once we arrived the waiter had sat us down in the dining area which had a very cute vibe . Very clean and the decor was just right to set the mood. We had ordered empanadas for an appetizer... I was a little disappointed that they weren't hand made but the generic empanadas had a good taste overall. I ordered a chicken burrito and it was filled to the gill with lots of chicken and the works. It was delicious.... I put some green sauce on it and it enhanced the taste the way I like it. My cousin ordered an Iberia taco bowl and that didn't disappoint... fully loaded with lots of everything ... we both enjoyed the food ... Ambience... and enjoyed the hospitality and the waiters were responsive to our needs !! We both left out of this establishment satisfied ... full and had left overs to take home !!! read more

My suggestion is to eat here in person. When you go in person the waiters are really nice and the food is good. I don't recommend ordering delivery from here. It's overpriced and they nickel and dime you. Nothing is included. Chips with salsa are free in the restaurant. If you order them I think it's $7. If you want an extra dressing on the side for the jalapeños poppers it's .50 cents. The biggest reason not to order delivery is because the food is always terrible. read more

Ordered the chipotle burger and they left an entire piece of wax paper on the burger, I almost choked on it. I'm assuming its the piece of wax paper either on the burger patty or slice of cheese or something but it wasn't a tiny little piece, it was like a full sheet. How do you not even notice thats on the burger when you put it together? When I went to check the burger to make sure there wasn't any more wax paper, there was a huge piece of hair in the burger also. That is not any one in my households hair color or length, and if i didnt lift the tomatoe / lettuce up to check for wax paper I never would've saw it. Absolutely insane. Cancun is a small, lowkey Mexican restaurant located in Massapequa serving fresh and authentic Tex-Mex dishes at affordable prices. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. This is a casual spot where you can come with family and friends on a weeknight or weekend and enjoy some quality time while enjoying a solid meal. They have a concise menu offering all the classics including Enchiladas, Quesadillas, Burritos, and Fajitas. My family enjoys their nachos, especially because they sautee all of their veggies before topping them on the nachos. They also offer a delicious but spicy side of onions and jalapenos upon request. I would also recommend getting their Fajitas which come with the same sauteed veggies but also with some fresh guac, rice, beans, cheese, and sour cream. Their menu does not specifically say that they serve vegetarian items but they will definitely make it for you as long as you make your dietary restrictions clear. Usually you will get seating right away but if you go at a peak lunch or dinner time, there may be some wait since the restaurant is on the smaller side. There is parking on the streets near the restaurant, so it should not be an issue. Great food, great service, great time. 5/5 stars! read more

I've driven past here for years, little did I know the hidden gem I was finally gonna walk into! The food is so damn good! A huge selection of tacos, burritos, salads, quesadilla and much much more. It's a great vibe when you come in and everyone is so nice. The service is great there's plenty of room for everyone and it's right on the heart of Broadway! They even take reservations for those scheduled delicious dates or take out to sit on the couch and enjoy. After wanting to come here for quite sometime, I finally made it in yesterday! Much different than I expected, but different in a good way. I didn't expect a sit down restaurant...always thought it was an order at the counter type place. Boy was I wrong... When my mother and I arrived the girl at the counter told us to seat ourselves, and the waiter would come to us. There are too sides. One side is closer to the bar. That's the only difference I was able to see/figure out. We opted for the other side, simply because we wanted to be away from the door. Our waiter came over shortly after we sat down. Brought us waters and chips and salsa. Came back shortly after with menus. Chips and salsa were tasty. Menu is short, but simple. Apps, burritos, burrito bowls, salads, fajitas, platters and tacos. Very to the point. I ordered shrimp tacos with corn tortillas. Very delicious and had amazing flavor. Each bite had me wanting more...and more. Very fresh tasting as well. My mom ordered beef tacos with a crispy shell. She said it was tasty. She did mention that it needed a little bit more sour cream and cheese for her liking, but otherwise she still enjoyed it. Each taco order came with three tacos. At first I was surprised that the orders didn't come with rice and beans...but after my second taco I was getting full anyway. Iabsolutely return! We visited Cancun for the first time to see a local cover band called VHS . Cancun was nicely decorated and had solid acoustics for the show , and most importantly plenty of room to dance. We sat on sofas near they stage and the view was great . Bar staff and waitresses were pleasant .. Definitely a place I would return to for live music. FYI there was a $10 per person cover at the door , but that would not stop us to and come back to see a band like VHS or another live music event . read more

Got the buffalo chicken quesadillas to start which were delicious. Plenty of flavor and came with a side of blue cheese. For dinner I got the steak buritto with yellow rice. Was very tasty and fresh. We went to Cancun on a Monday evening to celebrate our son's birthday after hearing and reading great reviews. As soon as we sat down, we felt at home and the waitress couldn't have been friendlier and more accommodating. We couldn't decide which chips and dips to get but she suggested we try smaller sizes of all of them so we could try them all. Salsa was so fresh and delicious and cheese sauce was one of the best I have ever tasted. I ordered chicken tacos, my daughter had steak tacos and my husband and son had birria tacos. Everything was perfectly cooked and so tasty! Finished the dinner with churros and cheesecake which both couldn't have been better.
