The check-in was easy and the Staff is available to meet and offer guidance one you arrive. They don't allow golf carts in the parking lot so you want to get there early to allow adequate time for check-in. The course was in very good condition. Tee boxes were well marked and in good repair. The fairways are not exceedingly wide so you will be in trouble if you are not accurate off the tee. My biggest complaint was all the granite rocks, just a real pain and on several holes can really impact your shot selection. There is some up and down and few elevated tee boxes but not a lot. My favorite hole was #17, a 135 yard Par 3. There is a big granite rock that partially blocks a clear path/view to an elevated green. You don't want to be left or you are on Mt Rushmore and not in a good way.

Lately have been coming up short on my approach shots and wanted to take the guess work out of it. So I booked a bay at $8.30 and bought a $20 bucket of balls. The Trackman screen is a pain in the ass to work when changing clubs. Now I know that I avg 250 with my driver but this machine was telling me that I was hitting it 205, so I went down the line with the next 4 clubs. Every club was extremely short so I took 6 of my own balls out of my bag to see if it was their balls or the machine that was giving me a false yardage. The 6 Titleist ProV1 gave me 40-50 yards difference...their balls are JUNK, either they are restricted flight or just crap that have been hit too many times. This effort proved only one thing to me...that it was a total waste of time and money! If you are hitting balls and don't care how far they go or if they nose dive 50yds out then practice at World Cup! But if you want to get accurate yardage and flight and easy transition when changing clubs then practice at KIMBALL'S in Westford Ma!! Sorry but this place is a joke!
