The moment itself is priceless to us -- which makes what followed harder to accept. Delivery problems: Our gallery was first sent to a complete stranger before it reached us. The delivered photos had tilted horizons across multiple images, soft/out-of-focus shots, and inconsistent color and exposure. The $300 wall: When we asked for the RAW files so we could correct the issues ourselves, we were told that would cost $300 via Zelle -- on top of the $300 session that was quoted in writing as including "all photos in digital form, full size, with professional print options." What we found when we checked the files: Most of the "full resolution" downloads were only 2,272×3,408 pixels (~7.7MP) -- roughly a third of what her Canon R6 actually produces -- while a few images in the same gallery came through at full size, proving the rest had been downsized. Only after we presented the file-dimension evidence did she re-export the gallery at true full resolution at no charge. The full-res files revealed the deeper problem -- the camera settings themselves. The blur wasn't a file issue; it was captured that way. One movement shot (a dip pose) was taken at 45mm, f/5, 1/100s, ISO 2,500 -- a shutter speed too slow to freeze that motion, with ISO already high, producing visible blur and softness. Another was shot at ISO 12,800 at 1/60s. All on an 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 consumer superzoom lens, for a planned evening session photographing moving people. These choices raise real questions about the ability to select appropriate equipment and settings for the conditions -- and the resulting noise, motion blur, and missed focus can never be recovered by any editing. Several photos of a once-in-a-lifetime moment are simply unusable. Bottom line: We ultimately received our full-resolution files and a written print release -- but only because we knew how to check pixel dimensions and pushed back with evidence over several days. Most clients would never know what they didn't receive. If you book here: get the print release in writing before the shoot, ask what lens and settings will be used for evening sessions, and verify your file dimensions before accepting delivery. Update, re: owner's reply -- RAW files were never the point; full resolution was. When RAWs were quoted at $300, we asked instead for the images we paid for to be re-exported at full resolution -- which she did at no charge. That speaks for itself. My review stands.

That text was sent on 12/23/23 and I was compensated for 1 picture, sent a few more digitals, and was told I would receive 3 - 8x10s within a week (this is after I told her that she hadn't done anything to make things right and after driving to her studio, after confirming, only to find out I was still missing a picture)....keep in mind I'm a new first time mother that is recovering from pre-eclampsia and a c-section. Again it is 1/28/24 and now she is not responding to text or call smh. So I guess at this point I will take the L. She ruined Christmas gifts for my family and at this point I just refuse to spend my 2024 chasing down someone that does not intend on doing the right thing. For months, we have argued with Weddings Unlimited (WU) due to their failure to provide, or having…read moreseverely underperformed, multiple services for our wedding totalling roughly a third of our package cost that included photo/video, DJ, and photobooth services. We could go on about the lack of timeliness in communication, failures to communicate at all, and avoidance of answering questions about their service providers, but we will stick to what we did not receive from our package. "Unlimited" Services Not Provided: - DJ with consultation before the wedding: their "experienced" DJ, Willie M., arrived/played some music as selected, but the reception playlist was a failure. After laying out every detail of our chosen playlist well in advance, he played multiple songs we didn't ask for, didn't know, from artists that we clearly stated we did not want played, took requests against our instruction, said the Bride's name wrong, and did not meet with us AT ALL before the wedding despite multiple attempts by the bride, groom, and wedding coordinator. He didn't even introduce himself on our wedding day. We've NEVER spoken with him. - "Magic Moments"; Hearts on Fire (Cold Sparks), Dancing on the Clouds (Fog Machine), No Mess Streamers: We received 0 of these as contracted and only received 10 of the 30 streamers we paid for. - Lighting Add-ons; Follow Spotlight (Manned), 8 Ambient Uplights, Custom Monogram Gobo Light, Intelligent Lighting (Moving Heads), 2 Pin Lights: We received 0 of our lighting elements as contracted. Uplighting was the wrong color, missing lights, and set up wrong, NO manned spotlight, NO custom monogram, NO pin lights, and the lighting system was also set up improperly. - Photobooth with a premium photo backdrop: The photo backdrop that we selected in advance was not provided - a plain, dingy, white screen was used. They ultimately took it down, using a wall at the venue as a backdrop later on. Their owner/partner, Frank V., was "authorized" to make two offers and both were short of what we are owed and include a NON-DISPARAGEMENT clause for "settlement"; violating some vendor platforms. We have not heard from Alex L. (owner/partner) about our wedding since we put our deposit down; despite several attempts to contact him. They know that they significantly breached our contract, failed us, and negatively impacted our wedding day. We have proof that WU didn't provide what we paid them to - including media provided by their own team, yet we will have to pursue commercial arbitration (~$1500 filing fee), or sue them, and pay their legal fees, for remedy. They could have simply refunded the money owed like any reputable company would have done, but they'd rather manipulate and bury honest reviews. For a company that claims they "clear 850+ weddings a year", providing a refund when you fail should not be an issue. They say: "Our Core. Our Cred. Our Commitment." We wrongly assumed integrity came with that. Couples, we wish you the best in finding vendors that align with you and treat your wedding with all the care that it deserves. Read the contracts and ask about their policies for refunds in the event of blatant failures. Great luck.
