He not only took his time performing the inspection, he also walked through the house and outside with my brother afterwards. On his computer, Mike was able to show us all the pictures he had taken, explaining what was good, or not good, throughout the house, on the roof, and around the house. A very patient teacher, Mike answered all of our questions, and taught me several things about potential future problems, along with showing me how to check on these issues myself. He also has made himself available through email with any questions I may have later on. We are forever indebted to Jeremy for his quick & thorough inspection of the house we were under contract to purchase. His inspection revealed that we had mistakenly chosen a money pit with literally every major, safety & expensive problem a house could have including structural issues, active termites, plumbing, electrical, unpermitted addition, radon & roof! This was a great team to work with. The first time we saw our new house was during the inspection (due to our being from out of town). They were great - letting us roam, and then pointing out things of note. Jeremy took his time at the end to review the report with us, explaining everything and answering all of our questions. (In past experiences I'd only been given a stack of paper to read, this was MUCH more informative and easier to understand.) I feel so much better knowing what we know now. We hired this inspection company based on our realtor's recommendation. The inspector, Mike Raborn, was wonderful- showed us areas that needed attention and discussed what might be done to address and fix those areas. He spent quite a bit of time with us, answering our questions completely. He also added a termite inspection within 24 hours of our inspection time when our exterminator service refused to handle it.
