She helped form the strategic plan, but was on point with the smallest of details. The contacts they had for every imaginable service made planning a breeze. Although they are very busy (for obvious reasons), they promptly replied to every email, text message and phone call. They went above and beyond to serve as referee, counselor, mediator, and fixer. I cannot accurately describe how reassuring it is having a go-to (or two) to put out any fires or better yet, prevent them before they started. For brides-to-be, you will not find a better planner with more solid contacts in the industry. For grooms, cut the check! In retrospect I would have paid triple what they charged for the quality of life and piece of mind leading up to the events, and for the smile on the face of my beautiful bride on the day of. B_entertained High…read morehopes, high disappointments. I wish I'd seen a review that helped me dodge this bullet. If you are planning a wedding, choose someone else. We used to B_entertained to supply the rentals for our wedding reception at Egerton Park. As we prepared for the event, they made mistakes. For example, they sent us quotes that were triple the price of what they should have been, and which we would've had to pay if we hadn't contested them. In every zoom meeting, Mike kept his camera off, which felt creepy and unprofessional. The company was also unclear about their cancellation and 72 hour policies. However, we took this in stride, and we were ready to let them work things out. We thought we were having a communicative experience with their customer service, and were hopeful that it would go well. At the reception, the generator shorted out one hour before the end of the event. We had paid for the larger generator, but it still gave out. Fortunately for us, our family and friends pulled together and used phone lights to keep the dancefloor lit. We brought our own speaker that was battery powered, and without it, the music would have stopped too. I'm very grateful we didn't also hire a DJ through this company, as their equipment would have stopped working when the generator did. What was most disappointing to me was my experience when I called Mike to discuss this with him. I expressed my frustrations in the hopes that he could explain what happened. But Mike was combative, aggressive, and told me that it was our fault. When I made that phone call, I was prepared to write a review about how, even though the generator stopped working, they worked with us to find a solution. But Mike hung up on me before I had even finished talking. I hope the recording of the call will be made available to me. If he had dealt with me on the phone call kindly, then I would be writing a very different review. But I am immensely disappointed with the service, this reaction, and the way that he treats you once he has your money. I do not recommend this company.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that once we opened the dance floor during our reception, it was packed for the entirety of the night with excited guests from many generations singing and dancing along to his impeccable set from start to finish. Ben impressed us so much with his attention to detail, responding directly to how our guests reacted to each track, seamlessly transitioning to the next, feeding into the vibe while still surprising us with exciting twists and turns. As emcee for the night, Ben couldn't have been more professional. His announcements were clear, even the difficult names were pronounced perfectly, and every music cue during our cocktail hour, ceremony, cake cutting, and reception was perfectly timed. Ben provided us with very easy-to-follow instructions to help him shape our night. His communication with us was crystal clear; we knew exactly what he needed, and we trusted him to carry it out. We met with him a few times over Zoom in the year leading up to the wedding, and he worked directly with our wedding planner, who recommended him, nailing every detail and request made along the way. I was never once worried or anxious about our decision to work with Ben and Remixologists, as it was very clear he understood exactly what we were looking for, and he was friendly and confident throughout the entire process. Working with Ben was hands down one of our favorite parts of our wedding planning and the event itself. Now a month out, we're still getting compliments from our guests about how much fun our reception was. We wholeheartedly endorse Ben and Remixologists.
