From a DJ's perspective-- we had a phenomenal experience at The Amber Room! Staff was excellent, food was great and the night was a blast!

Where do I even start! Firstly, going to the Amber Room the minute we walked through the doors, we just knew this place was special. From the grounds well kept outside for pictures, to the inside decorations and space we knew this was our place. We discussed everything first with Katie Rajcula, who was a god sent angel to us. Katie's knowledge about everything specifically for weddings was highly impressive. She handled everything so smoothly, without any hesitation, and was able to create the most perfect timeline of our day. The way Amber Room took care of us from the very first day to our wedding day, you could not have asked for a better place to celebrate! The day of our wedding it truly takes a village to handle a wedding, and doing it without any stress to myself, my husband, or our bridal party and even our guests was so amazing. We really could not have asked for a better group. Gina and her whole staff made sure we had anything we needed that day without hesitation.They had accommodated our guests who needed golf cart rides, to open up our asile for our wheelchair guests, to helping me with some bridal dress malfunctions. I could go on about this spot forever! Overall, We could not have picked a more perfect venue to celebrate our forever moment!! So beyond blessed for The Amber Room! read more

My organization had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Amber Room. We held a fundraising gala, and this venue, the food and the service was excellent. Doug made us feel at ease throughout the process (a tall order since this was our first event, especially one with 225+ guests!), and ensured everything went smoothly. Guests were talking about the beautiful location, the delicious food and the nice staff. I can't recommend The Amber Room more highly. read more

The place was nice overall. The seating arrangement was well thought out. The dj was a very nice individual. When asking for a song you have to be specific on your choice of your song. The waiters and waitresses were very nice and made my time here even more special. The food wasn't the best because the hostesses selection, she picked grilled cheese and Mexican food. While she and others may like this it did not fulfill my needs. While I would rather more of an original choice of chicken fingers or pasta. Although they had Ice cream which rounded my review up to a 5 stars. Overall I had a great experience at The Amber Room and would recommend this as a party destination. read more

Let me start by saying if there was a 6th star or Elite Star or something like that, they earned it. We had our wedding planned at the Matrix for 09/10/2017. Unfortunately they went bankrupt and the wedding coordinator actually recommended to go to the Amber Room and speak to "Doug". We took her recommendation. Doug - he has a sense of ownership, urgency and (1) thing most businessmen lack is heart. Heart into what he does. He never stops smiling, keeps constant communication, very confident and MOST importantly, I didn't rent the Amber Room, I rented Doug! He ensured everything was in place, on time and to perfection in our eyes. Doug, I personally thank you again on this review for truly making our dream come true. Regardless the person, state or year, I will ALWAYS recommend the Amber Room for everything and anything possible because of your services. Gina - She was our banquet manager ensuring everything is going smoothly the day of the wedding. She checked on us literally, like every 10 minutes to make sure we were not in need of anything. I'll give some examples: we were assigned a personal attendant who made sure our glasses were never emptied, a flame for every cigarette I smoked, kept everyone away while me and my newly wife enjoyed our dinner and followed us to ensure we were short of nothing. Gina accommodated lighting, assisting with seating the guest with her team and her team worked effectively with her leadership. Outstanding leadership Gina and commitment to our wedding. The landscaping is something from Twilight (the movie). The whole area is big and open for party pictures and amazing background for your photographer to take. Inside, the whole place was re-modeled with new carpet, seats, paint, lighting... everything. I know this because I had my Junior prom, Senior prom and few other events but it never looked this NEW. Other places are nice, but the Amber Room is sexy. There is nothing above sexy folks. It's been two years since my wedding and reception at the Amber Room and I'm pleased to say the marriage took. My wife and I couldn't have been happier with our experience from start to finish. Doug was our primary contact at the Amber Room. He helped us plan the entire event from start to finish. His experience was invaluable. Had it not been for Doug, our guests would have been eating their 15th course well past 3am. We may have gotten carried away with our menu. Fine details aside. Our wedding and reception went off without a hitch, it was the perfect evening and we're still talking about it. We're even straining to come up with convincing reasons to have an event at the Amber Room just to go back. When we drive by we always stop in to say hello to Doug. Stress free, within our budget, and a hearty feeling of satisfaction afterwards. Thats the best way I can summarize my experience getting married at the Amber Room. THANKS DOUG!!!! I guess the appeal of a banquet hall like this depends on who's sponsoring your evening out; however, the place itself seems nice enough. The staff is friendly, the hall is clean, the cooks do a great job, and there's more than enough parking. If I'm ever rolling in money and need to have a party for myself and a couple hundred of my closest friends who own suits, I'll definitely give them a call. read more

Our High School had its prom here and it was terrific. We can't wait to have it here next year. Doug and his staff are awesome!!!

Doug, Alisha and the entire staff made our Scholarship event a huge success! Our club has at least two events, the Person of the Year and the Scholarship Event at the beautiful Amber Room Colonnade, one in October and the other in May or June. My husband and I co-chair the events. We try to make each event special! Doug and Alisha provide the magic that makes it happen. The Chef adds the appetizers that our club loves to his fabulous spread of hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour! The main meals are part of the highlight of our event! Absolutely wonderful! We recently booked the Amber Room for a fundraising event for a private school. Doug and his team were a dream to work with and so patient with us. When deciding on the final details, Doug gave us wonderful tips on how to make the evening even better and make our fundraiser a success. They made the venue available many hours prior to our event so we could get set up and ready for the big night. On the night of, everyone commented on how beautiful the newly redesigned space was and how much room there was to move around and dance. As for the food, I was told by numerous guests that the filet mignon was the BEST they had EVER eaten and the crab cake pairing was out of this world. My vegetarian entree of pasta primavera with grilled vegetables was also second to none. Overall, we had a spectacular evening in a gorgeous space with delicious food. We are going to book the Amber Room for our next fundraising event because it just cannot be beat. read more

We got married on Sunday, March 15, 2015. We had a limited budget and never expected that we could have our wedding reception at such a gorgeous place! From the second I called to make an appointment for a consultation to the day of our reception, everyone was so incredibly accommodating and professional. Besides our small budget, we were also limited to one date; but they came up with a package that surpassed our requests and imagination. The stress of your wedding day is unimaginable-no matter how simple you try to keep it. But when it came to the reception, I felt like everyone at The Amber Room lifted it off of our shoulders. They dignified our families with last minute changes and requests; cared for our guests as though they were their own family; spoiled my husband and I with our own private room to enjoy champagne and hors'derves (just to list a few specifics). I had provided my own decorations, and they set up the tables so gorgeously! And the food! Our guests STILL are talking about the food. The steak and chicken not only tasted incredible, but the portions were HUGE. They gave everyone 'take-home' containers-I'm telling you, it was awesome! The hors'derves were delectable. They have a full bar staffed, but we chose to go with wine on the tables. It was so elegant; so professional; I couldn't have dreamed of anything so lovely. It was still very much winter on our wedding day, so we couldn't take advantage of the beautiful grounds for our photos, but if you get married at a warmer time, that's another wonderful perk of this spot. We just had our twin daughters Bat mitzvah Saturday, June 6th, 2015. We were absolutely blown away by the entire affair, as the Amber Room did an incredible job. We started with a cocktail party in the outside space, and the food was fantastic, and the it just kept coming and coming. The service was terrific, and there were plenty of bartenders and staff to bend over backwards to accommodate our guests. After the cocktail hour the party continued in the larger of the two spaces they have. The room looked beautiful, and the service continued to be outstanding. Dinner was salmon and filet mignon, and both were prepared perfectly. I highly recommend this venue, and the manager, Doug Polistena, is absolutely a pleasure to work with read more
