Thank you for providing such an extraordinary service and team. So many of our guests complimented and were impressed with these two ladies! I don't look forward to hosting another big event soon but if I do I will only be doing it with your team. Thank you Gigi! With so much gratitude, Shaughna

From start to finish, Gigi and her team were absolute professionals--friendly, efficient, and deeply committed to making our event a seamless success. A huge thank you to Vanessa, Kelly, and Cindy, who were truly phenomenal. They handled every detail with care and precision, allowing me (and our guests!) to actually enjoy the party without stress. I received so many compliments from attendees about how helpful, attentive, and kind the staff was. Whether it was food prep, setup, cleanup, or guest assistance, they jumped in wherever needed--often solving issues before I even noticed them. This is event staffing at its best--a team that's not only highly capable but also genuinely enthusiastic and easy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book Extra Hands for Your Events again, and I absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a party, wedding, corporate gathering, or private event. Gigi, you and your team are rock stars. Thank you!

I had to hire another planner who did the job in 3 weeks. I hired Veronica in May for my baby's birthday and 7 months later still nothing was done and she refused to give me back my money. She then texted me extremely threatening texts almost 3 months after my event to remove my one star review or she will sue me. She would then block me and then unblock me and continue to send threatening messages. This woman wants to keep her shady business practice behind wraps. She also threatened me about someone else leaving her a bad review. Her google reviews are mainly all one star reviews. She is the worst thing to ever happen to me. I wish I contacted the other party planning business before I came into contact with this evil person. I have included screen shots of her harassment. I have informed the police department and will take all legal measures should she continue to threaten and harass me. Her number is listed to show you she is the evil person behind these texts. Oh and she kept my money and did no work for what I paid her for. Keep that in mind. Google her. There is nothing but bad things written about her all over the internet let alone her google reviews. I should have read about all her unhappy customers and negative articles written To Veronica's comment: YOU are an absolute liar. I don't need to speak on whatever crap you're saying because a simple search of your google reviews will show all of the horrible reviews you have. If you google "blue ivy and Beyoncé" you can see articles of Beyoncé asking for a restraining order against this awful woman. Poor excuse for a human being! Literally everything she wrote in her response to my comment is a lie and don't entertain her BS! One simple google search will SHOW all her unhappy customers dating back YEARS!

Being in the wedding industry myself, I am extremely picky about who to entrust on our big day. Having a wealth of contacts to plan our own wedding, we undoubtedly knew Veronica was THE ONE for us! From our first interview with her she was on point, meticulous and had a back up plan for our "back up plan". She listened to our needs and wedding vision, kept me motivated and on time with my checklists and truly "got it". From day one I conveyed to her that we were looking for a "bulldog" day of coordinator/Superwoman that could handle a large wedding party (11 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen), large family, out of towner guests and whatever drama might enfold. I wanted someone as detailed as I am, if not more but who truly cares and understands the entire process. We found all that in Veronica, and then some! Her attention to detail is above and beyond. She has her templates, checklists and timelines down to a science. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch (at least that I am aware of). That's what I call a GREAT day of coordinator. I was never concerned or bothered by things that came up because it was fixed before I even knew about it. She was there for us until the very end which was 1:00 AM and was so attentive and checked in on us often!! LOVE that! By the way, she's so much fun and had a blast singing/dancing along with her and our FAB DJ. Our family and friends fell in love with her as well, that I almost forgot she was my planner. :) In a good way that is. She was extremely professional but was so down to earth, she was like family. She's a friend for life!! I highly recommend her and her team. In conclusion: Do yourself a favor, stop looking and call Veronica for your big day!

Kristin truly goes above and beyond. For our summer party in 2022 at Gillette stadium, the bus company providing 5 full-size coaches canceled all our buses the day before our event. They had a shortage of drivers. We got a full refund but that didn't help with the need to get everyone to/from the party. Finding buses had been challenging months before our event and now we were less than 24 hours out. Kristin dropped everything and spent the entire day tracking down buses and cobbling together a transportation plan for us. It was incredibly stressful but she was calm and cool. She literally saved the event. On top of it, Kristin is a lovely person and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Swank Events!

Once inside, the guests were shuffled through a few different rooms. It almost seemed like the staff didn't know what to do or where to put us. We were left standing around with heavy jackets on as it's winter time... Cocktail hour was missing some of the apps that were advertised on a sign. The dance floor was more like a dance "isle" as the tables took up most of the room. The bar closed around 9pm, maybe even earlier with no warning. Im giving 2 stars for the buffet-style dinner being good, but that's about it.

Event Coordination and Continuity There was no consistent…read morewedding coordinator throughout the planning process. The final planning meeting was scheduled on a day when Paige, who would ultimately serve as our day-of coordinator, was not working, leaving her without access to confirmed and accurate information. Information discussed during that meeting was either not accurately recorded or not properly communicated, placing Paige in an extremely difficult and unfair position on the day of the wedding. Despite this, Paige went above and beyond in every conceivable way. She spent the day extinguishing one fire after another, including issues related to catering, staffing, and the DJ. Most notably, when it became clear that the paid-for tater tot bar was not being executed as planned, Paige personally went to the store to purchase tater tots so that it could be made available. As the host of the wedding, I had planned for this to be the first meal I was able to eat that day after spending my time ensuring our guests were cared for, making her effort especially meaningful. Two-Week Meeting and Planning Issues At our two-week meeting, the tater tot bar was confirmed but was not properly recorded in our event details. During this meeting, it appeared that the coordinator leading the meeting was unfamiliar with the seating and event-planning software. There was significant difficulty creating and organizing the table layout, and information discussed during the meeting was either entered incorrectly or not transcribed accurately into the system. I was ultimately sent home with seating charts containing three separate "Table 18s" and two separate "Table 2s," with tables scattered throughout the layout without logical organization. Because of the confusion and inaccuracies in the seating charts provided, I felt compelled to create a table layout of my own for the venue to use as a reference. When these issues were identified, they were attributed to a recent software upgrade that had allegedly caused previously saved templates and information to be lost. However, the extent of the errors left me concerned that there was a lack of familiarity with the program and that important planning details were not being accurately recorded. Staffing and Guest Experience During the Reception A bartender walked out during the event. There was insufficient waitstaff. The hors d'oeuvres were not circulated throughout the entire cocktail hour space and were instead primarily brought directly from the kitchen to select tables, resulting in many guests not receiving the same level of service. The indoor bartender was rude and unpleasant, resulting in multiple complaints to the Mother of the Bride. A security staff member repeatedly followed the Mother of the Bride's husband each time he stepped outside to smoke a cigarette in the designated smoking area. The attached photograph clearly shows the location of the ashtray provided for guest use. Despite other guests utilizing the same area for smoking throughout the evening, only the Mother of the Bride's husband was repeatedly approached and monitored. This singling out was unnecessary, uncomfortable, and inappropriate. The men's restroom ran out of paper towels, and the nearby security guard stated that he did not know where replacement supplies were located. Food and Catering Issues The tortellini was burnt. There was not enough tortellini, and it ran out before all tables were served. Vegetarian guests did not have access to a vegetarian meal. Since January, both the tater tot bar and Ben & Jerry's had been included in our plans. Ben & Jerry's was not provided. Additionally, the paid-for tater tot bar was not served as planned; instead, street tacos were served. During dessert service, the venue ran out of both plates and napkins. Guests were left without the basic items necessary to enjoy their desserts, creating unnecessary confusion and inconvenience during what should have been one of the final celebratory moments of the evening. Venue Condition The outdoor garden and grounds were not maintained in a condition suitable for a wedding venue. The garden area was unkempt, in disarray, and ultimately unusable for wedding photographs. There were dead, hanging flowers present at the hall entrance on both sides of the doorway, creating a poor first impression for arriving guests and detracting from the appearance of the venue. When our photographer first went outside to scout locations for photographs, she had to stop and pick up a discarded plastic cup and move it out of the area before photographs could even be considered. Additionally, during our two-week meeting, I personally picked up trash from inside the outdoor ceremony area, including debris in the bushes, under chairs, and along the fence line. DJ Services The DJ emailed the bride twice, and the bride responded both times, yet no follow-up occurred. At the two-week meeting, the DJ had still not contacted the couple. When contact
