I tagged along with my husband to Charlotte for his work trip and got to explore the city a little. I decided to get a massage, but other places with higher ratings than here didn't have an opening on the one day I have. Tuy had the next highest rating and availability. Their booking site was very easy to use. I was able to get in the next day and booked the 90 min Swedish massage for $155. Although it isn't at the best location (said another reviewer who gave them a 5) it didn't bother me bc I've been to the ghetto-est place and they have one of the best service. I was greeted by two woman as I entered and was then instructed to fill out a form. By the time I settled in & waited for the masseuse the massage started about 10 after my scheduled time. I've been to numerous massage parlors and I expect it to be relaxing. The "relaxing" instrumental music sounded like it played from the hallway/lobby, not in the actual room. It wasn't that loud but loud enough to distract the coming noise I'm about to elaborate. The music played for about the first 30 mins of my session, then it went silent. I had the first room on the left so I can hear every conversation in the lobby, who's coming in & leaving & worst of all, the sound of the cars driving by and the a/c fan. At first i thought the window was open but later looked and it wasn't. I should have told my masseuse but I kept telling myself the music will come back on but by the time it did, it was towards the end of the session. The music started again when another gentleman walked in for his session. Next, the lighting. Again, I expect dim lighting in a massage room. It was fine when I laid face down but as soon as I had to face up, i felt the brightness even with my eyes closed. Some places put a towel over your eyes but this place did not. The only reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars is bc of my masseuse. I didn't catch her name, but she was an older woman and she did an incredible job. Only complaint, I left like I was short 5 mins. Make sure u arrive early to use the restroom and a few mins to fill out the form! I read that the owner has been in business for a while so she should know the etiquette of a massage parlor. For how much I paid + $20 tip, I wish it would have been a great experience. I'm usually able to hand the cash tip to the masseuse myself, but she was no where in sight so I left it with one of the two ladies I saw when I first walked in. I hope she gets it! If they can fix these mishaps, this place can definitely be great. Although I'm Super disappointed that they weren't as attentive to a fellow Asian as the others.

After repeatedly trying to book a session without success, I requested a refund. Although he stated that he would process it, more than a month has passed and I still have not received my refund. I continue to receive assurances that it has been handled, but no payment has been returned. I've been a loyal client for over 2yrs. I'm not sure what led to this situation, but based on my experience, I would strongly recommend not purchasing services in advance --especially if you are considering paying in advance. The legal battle is not worth it. Choose a more reputable provider.

The room is dark and cozy, He uses hot stones, warm towels, aromatherapy and really cold eye compresses. It was awesome and this is one of those things that I might just treat myself occasionally but he is so reasonable, I can afford to go often. What I really liked was we talked briefly afterwards, he let me ask questions and he was on mark on assessing me. It was some issues I already had been to physical therapy for. They check in during the massage once or twice to make sure the pressure is good or if you more or less. They have everything from deep tissue and sports massage to relaxation and prenatal as well as anything between. Parking is tricky at certain times of the day as Elements is located in a plaza with other stores (Home Goods!),so consider that when arriving for appointments. Pricing is pretty close to all the other massage places, maybe a little higher, but the quality and personalization of the massage makes it worth it. I do have a few favorite therapists depending on what I'm looking for in my massage, but I'm not sharing names because then I won't be able to get in with them Since I had massage brain( it's a thing), I forgot to take some pictures. Taylor was amazing! Fun and light hearted spirit, very knowledgable and truly was in tune with what was going on and how to relieve the pain. If I lived here I'd be seeing her regularly! She came to my hotel room and managed to make it still feel like a spa experience too. Nothing but great things to say!! If I'm ever back here for work I will definitely be using her services again.
